In business for over 14 years, Little Mittens is a child care and youth center for nearly 160 children. Growing in leaps and bounds, Little Mittens is looking at developing a user lab for their youth center, adding physical security by Axis to their location and overhauling their office systems so they can process automatically. Doing so would free up more time to focus on the children, not payment processing and attendance keeping. CDW, in partnership with HP, Intel and Microsoft, has offered a solution to help Little Mittens on all accounts.

Springhill Music - Brentwood, TN
"To fully expand into the digital media age, we are going to require solid and reliable IT resources to draw upon, which would include the necessary equipment to get us from 1990's technolgy to the year 2008." Mark Nelson, IT Manager / Systems Administrator

The largest challenges that Springhill music faces are the constant shuffling of applications to run on outdated desktops, and a lack in a solid firewall. Add to this a shift in their focus to more digital media creation, and storage has quickly become a problem as well. As the company continues to grow they now, more than ever, require solid and reliable IT resources. CDW will be updating their office with the latest in HP desktops, running Microsoft Office 2007, along with a new server with the latest in Intel VPro technology, an HP storage system, a new rack, new security appliances, software and services.

CDW will be preparing a server consolidation and virtualization plan for them, along with a document management solution to help streamline their everyday processes. Cain, Hibbard, Myers and Cook PC are currently supported by CDW’s new legal sales team.
