Plug and forget
The title says it all, plug it in, and forget about it. Easily reached 25MB per second. Also gives you a sense of savings with the power management, though in reality it probably is only pennies. Great price when on sale, can't go wrong for an unmanaged switch. Metal casing is nice, good build quality.

it's a gigabit switch.
i bought it for 30 bucks when they had it on sale. no problems. it's a a metal switch, plug in cat 5e or cat 6 cables, plug in power and go. i also own the d-link one too, DGS-1008D, also good too. there's not exactly a whole lot to them. Cheap but fast
Pros: Solid built, steel instead of plastic, powerful enough for a small home gigabit network
Cons: Delivery was two or three weeks.
Does what it promises
No frills 8 port GB switch. Works as advertised. Got if for $30 during a Days of Dell deal. If you need a no nonsense GB switch, go for this model.
Excellent SOHO Switch
Bought two of these to replace a couple old 5-port 10/100 switches that were lying around. No issues so far. It's clearly labeled, and built like a brick. Not a single complaint so far.
Would recommend this to anyone looking for a bit of extra throughput and who needs the extra ports.

Solid switch
I bought this switch to upgrade my LAN to gigabit speeds. I'm very happy with it. It's got a metal casing, not cheap plastic. I've been using it for over a month and have not had to power cycle it. There is no set up either - you just plug in the power and the network cables and you're all set.
