AP7911B Good PDU after some false-starts...
The AP7911B switched PDU was procured to allow management of devices at a very remote teleport location, and replaced a smaller APC unit. It initially looked like the new unit had shipped with corrupted firmware as we tried for days to get the Web UI to work without success. It took a local login via the serial port and a factory reset to get the unit to respond correctly. Once that was done, we were able to reload our configs and proceed normally. Note that we also discovered that this unit does NOT use an NMC-2 card, but rather an embedded NMC-3. If you get one and try to update firmware, be certain to download the _hw21_ versions.
