Rated 5 out of 5 bychefman98 from Excellent little printer, great photos, small paper traySo, after about a week using this all-in-one printer, I can say I'm mostly pleased. I really like that it has a physical interface on the panel, and the actual print-outs are excellent. Photos are bright and colorful (and of course best on glossy paper), and documents are printed quickly and have a nice crisp look even on cheap copy paper. Setup was pretty easy, even the WiFi connection which-- on some printers-- is a pain to get going. Be prepared to do a firmware update or two in your first week, though. It's easy with the Epson software, but it does require you to leave the printer alone while it's updating.Scanning is super-easy, and the Epson Scan application is pretty good at basic editing functions and saving in whatever format you need. There's also a nice CD printing app that lets you print labels on optical discs with printable labels (which are special discs, not the standard ones with the glossy plastic top), but I haven't had occasion to use that feature (honestly, who uses CDs anymore?). I assume the print quality on discs is just as good as on paper. Though the instructions (neither printed nor online) make it very clear, the CD tray is on the bottom of the paper tray, and it must be removed from its storage space and inserted manually. On the negative side, the paper tray is small. It still holds quite a few pages, but it's not a big tray by any means and it's a little tricky to pull it out. Actually, there are two trays, with one meant for one kind of media (for example, standard 8.5x11" paper) and the other meant for different media (like 4x6 photo paper). This is convenient, but honestly I'd rather have had a bigger single tray instead of the dual trays. It's not often that I switch between media on a single job, and between jobs I could always swap things out. Some people may prefer the convenience of having two types of media in one device, though, so I'm not going to consider it a major problem. The printer does take up a small amount of space, and that's nice for smaller homes and offices.Direct printing from phones and tablets is straightforward once you set it up, so if you're in a computer-free household this might be a good choice for you, though you may want a computer around for inital setup. Also appreciated is the SD card slot and USB input so that you can print directly from portable media like a flash drive. All told, I'm happy with this printer. The smaller paper tray is a concern for me, and I'm not seeing ink prices at this point but looking at Epson's average, they're probably reasonable as long as they don't get used up too quickly with involuntary printer maintenance features.I'd say this is a 4-star printer. A larger paper tray would bump it up to five stars.“This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Rated 5 out of 5 byJudy098 from NEED some helpI haven't been able to get this to work for me yet, it's been a struggle. Could be partly my problem. So far not good, and I seldom am in a position to recommend nor do I presume to make recommendations.

Rated 5 out of 5 bycver from Terrible Printer; do not buyI bought this at Target because I was in a bind when my old printer crapped out. After trying 3 times, it won't calibrate properly, so it prints jagged lines. When one ink runs out, it just refuses to print. This is a terrible printer and if I could return it, I would. Waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJim Summersgill from Simple All-in-OneSeems like a good printer, but I have failed to get my MAC to recognize the printer, even when connected via USB cable. I have tried the uninstall/reinstall process twice, but still does not work. Not sure what to try next...just going to live with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBig Appa from Photo QualityI've had this for three or four days, and love the quality of the photos. It can be fast, if you use "standard" quality, or slow if you use "high" quality. The nice thing about that is that it's up to you! I would have given this printer five stars, but the setup was very difficult.
