Rated 5 out of 5 by from C6300v2 review Have been using this modem gateway a little over two years. Things were fine for the first 6-12 months but over the last year it has performed very poorly. Lots of latency and jitter, causes poor streaming and slow loading webpages. I'm told it's because this modem uses Intel's Puma6 chipset, which cannot really be fixed. I'll have to replace this modem soon because performance gets gradually worse. Recommend staying away from any networking products with Intel Puma6 processors.

However, once I purchased and installed my Netgear C6300v2 router/modem, it has worked like a charm. It was easy to install. I am happy I went with Netgear.

It took me a hot minute to figure out how to get it to work, we’ve had it for a few years and are finally able to use it with our new internet company but they left it up to me to figure out how to set everything else up. I am not tech savvy so it took me longer than most I’m sure. But it is working now and the nighthawk app is cool

I recently purchased Netgear modem model 6300V2 and I initially had 200 Mbs download speed and now have over 500 Mbs download speed from my ISP (Xfinity) which this particular device is capable for Xfinity service. This unit is doing approximately 360 Mbs which is fine for my Online presents.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall it was a great buy I bought this modem router so I could stop with the rental fees. Overall it has been worth it and I don’t notice much of a difference in speed. The only thing I do notice however is the tv in the bedroom farthest away from the equipment takes a very long time to load and sometimes it doesn’t load at all. I should note that my house is about 1600 sq ft. This tv doesn’t get watched very often so I don’t look at it at a problem. I would definitely recommend this to others and I’m pleased with my purchase.

I tried to reboot the router multiple times. Once I replaced the router with my old one, problems were solved only now I am trying to get a refund or replacement from Netgear and still out $189 bucks.

Told to remove all cables, unplug power, wait one minute, connect cables in a given order and re-power the modem. This worked, but now I have to do it 1 or 2 times every day. My old modem, a Motorola surfboard lasted 7 years with no problems.

Once I had my internet set up I tried to set my alarm system and the modem had a setting that would not let my alarm connect... called Netgear and was in the phone for about 45 minutes and the person helping me told me I had to call the Internet provider and he couldn’t do anything.... returned it to the store got a different brand and it all a works now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge disappointment before 1-year warranty I purchased my (first AC1750 Wifi Cable Modem Router (C6300) in 2018 for my Internet service (only) with Comcast. Around August of 2019, Comcast was installing new lines around my neighborhood. When the service came back online my router was damaged. I had the contractor supervisor come into my house to try and explain what happened. He didn't argue with me. He went to STAPLES and purchased the exact same router, and I got back online-the supervisor gave me the receipt for the purchase.. On or about August 14, 2020, I was not able to (get and maintain) Internet service. I called Comcast and went through their troubleshooting protocol with no positive outcome; they sent out a technician to test the line coming into my house --no problem. I went back to STAPLES and informed them of what happened. Since I was past their 14 day window to do a return, they directed me to NETGEAR. Instead of purchasing a (3rd) AC1750, I opted to (rent) a Comcast model/router for $14 a month, which I didn't want to do. Now, I have (two -2) unusable AC1750s that cost $190.00 each. Question, "Is one year the life span of this model?" I need a good, satisfactory answer. I'm a former software developer for the United States Government.

Our speed is slower than the 3yr old modem and router it replaced. The app continually tells me that the firmware needs to be updated, and the Netgear rep told me we need to contact our ISP about that. iSP says it’s the correct version. Honestly, I’m tired of sitting on phones and on hold trying to make it work. Haven’t decided yet what I’ll do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faster than my Xfinity modem I spent multiple calls with Xfinity to replace my router. Was sent and charged for a coaxial cable and no router. So I ordered the netgear AC1750 and can't be happier. It's quicker than my old modem and has 2 channels that it broadcasts. the standard broadcast and the 5g channel. It can also be setup to broadcast guest channels for each through the router settings. I would highly recommend this cable modem.

The only reason I got a new one is because of repeated power flickers with a past storm we had (power went in and off like 7 times in a row. I have up to 20 devices at a time attached to this unit via WiFi and NEVER have problems!

I figured I just needed to restart it to fix this issue, and it did since then haven’t had any issue with the product. It was a moderate price for a good quality product.

I did self installation of my home internet and within 15 to 20 minutes i was connected to wifi and that was setup of my router threw netgear and after that set up through my internet provider both from opening the boxes to connected to wifi ... just 15 to 20mins all together for both thats amazing!! i would highly recommend thi ls brand if you are considering. ita very fast and service is perfect .. i havent had the first problem.

The networks, both 5G and 2.4 would appear and disappear. Very frustrating. So I returned the second o e and went with an upgrade per the advice of the rep. So far so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NetGear C6300. Cable Modem for use on a Comcast system. I bought this just to not pay the 10 dollar a month rental. Was In for a big surprise. It changed the Blast Internet Service back into blast. My Wi-Fi speed went from 286 mbps to 860 and sometimes higher. Direct with a Ethernet wire it went to 1 gig transfer rate from 300. Never had a clue that Comcast gave you blast as a carrot and must of took the speed back at the cable modem , telling me that it was the fastest on the market. I got it a bit cheaper than the price showing and make sure it has Doxis my spelling on it may be off. But I wouldn't trade it back for a free Comcast modem. Its so easy to set up with almost any system, Comcast being the easy one in my book. My brother used a laptop for his home pc. We tried everything new dual USB wireless plug ins and still only had 120 to 240 showing on speed. After installing this Netgear he had over 800 mbps coming into the laptop that he was going to throw out. I don't get paid to leave these and leave very few but this made me sit up and think for one and its a great modem to. P. Henry

Worked at 5 star level for a month, storm came through and fried the entire thing. Had to race out and buy a replacement, same Netgear C6300 unit. AND a surge-protector with 1 hour battery backup. Suggest you sell it as a package with surge protection. Really Netgear should build it in.

I pulled all the stops of resetting, unplugging, restoring to factory defaults to no avail. I called support because my hardware was still under the 1-year warranty. However, the support agent explained I would need to purchase a “support plan” in order to get my router serviced. I said it was still under 1-year and that it should be serviced. He responded saying this is true but in order for them to initiate support, I needed to be under a plan. The cheapest plan was 30 dollars less than what I paid for the router. I said it was outrageous but was told that it will work for 5 years after being fixed. Why would I almost pay for a new router when my current is under warranty? The first brand new one went down in 9 months. What kind of guarantee is that? Are they selling defective equipment planning to recoup using the support plan purchase? Whatever the case is, I will be buying my future internet equipment from a different company. You can have the best product but if your support sucks, no thanks.

I check with my internet service provider to make sure there aren’t any outages in the area first. Usually, by the time I log into my account through my ISP, the router has restarted itself and the WiFi networks provided to us by this router have been refreshed and are available for connection. This makes doing anything on my devices very frustrating. An individual on our network could be trying to purchase something, watching a video, or playing a game with friends and the network drops and the activity is interrupted. So far, my bank account has only been affected once because of the intermittent service this router provides to us...

As for the usage to change passwords and network name it is very easy to use and access. Run very smoothly my WiFi bars are always 3 and it also run up to 20 feet away from it which is very pleasing. Get this product right now to have accessible internet usage from a far distance and because of how smoothly and slick of it.

Netgear had great reviews which the AC1750 delivered on for a few months. By mid July the 5G WiFi no longer works, and by the end of July it requires daily (at least factory resets just to get the 2.4 signal. When I call support they are not interested in helping as much as upselling a support service. I was supposed to hear back within 24-48 hours from a supervisor, that was 4 days ago...

I did all the recommended steps each time, from talking to my ISP (and confirming it was not the Internet service, to moving the unit to a different location, to factory resets, and reading all the support documents I was directed to. Finally, I came to the conclusion that this unit must be defective. The response I received when trying to get it replaced under the one year warranty was that I need to have the unit diagnosed. But, it turns out the only way to have it diagnosed is to pay for additional technical support. And, the worst part is despite the multiple calls I made in the past they claim I was never put through the full technical diagnostic support. I am very disappointed in this product and the related service. The irony is, if my unit was replaced under the warranty as expected, I would likely be writing a great review.

Internet comes in from coaxial cable from my internet provider, plugs into the back of my modem. Was easy to set up, I have two hard wired smart TVs, one hard wired Mac, and at any time can have anywhere between 4-8 wireless devices connected all running smoothly at the same time. Handles even more when family comes over, can be anywhere between 4-20 more devices that can jump on to the WiFi. We are mostly streaming movies and TV shows on multiple devices, music streaming, web browsing, etc all at the same time. I live in a two-story home, approx 3,000 sq ft and 2.4G and 5G signal reaches all over the house. Love this modem! Would recommend Netgear routers, mesh or range extenders to give your signal an extra boost as you get further away from the modem.

Setup was easy, I unplugged the Spectrum equipment and plugged this in, called Spectrum tech support to activate, called Netgear tech support once for help with the passwords (I am low tech) and everything has worked seamlessly for over a week now. My internet service actually is a little faster and more reliable with this new equipment. I highly recommend this product for ease of install and excellent performance. Huge reduction in my monthly cable bill with no loss of shows I enjoy. I ordered on Amazon and the price was very reasonable.

It allows me to control my WiFi with ease just using the Netgear genie app. Any time I need to restart my router I can easily do it from my phone or just use the power buttons. At times the router has to get reset to factory configurations for some apparent reason but it doesn't happen quite as often. The router is quite reliable I have roughly 10 different items hooked up to it with wifi and 2 other with ethernet cord and all the items work flawlessly. I dont game as much as I used to but when I do I dont get any lag while playing. The set up was pretty much plug and play the configuration was also easy to do as well

In the end nothing was successful and no one was able to help. All we found out was that the problem was with the router. So I returned it and got the Netgear! Instant success setting it up and no problems! The Wi-Fi is strong and fast, and everything has worked perfectly thus far!

I’ve called my internet provider and they came and fixed everything they could and I was told I’m getting internet that it’s the modem that is defective. I didn’t believe them due to the company’s reputation. I was told to give netgear a call and they have to troubleshoot it with me. So once I began to call after making my appointment I’ve waited an hour on hold to get a hold of somebody to troubleshoot a modem that was defective according to the rep. They’ve sent me a new modem and the internet is still going in and out at certain times of the day. After calling my company and complaining to them saying that it can’t be the modem due to it being brand new and straight from netgear they told me it was. I had three technicians come out and check all the wires and connections and was told everything was fine. After doing more research I’ve found that this device is notorious for having this problem. So if your looking for a modem beware of this one or you might get lucky and not have this problem.

I tried multiple options to fix it including factory resets and completely redoing my network setup. Of course it was past the time when I could return it to where I purchased, so I registered it with Netgear and began the process of creating a support ticket. The beginning went ok with most of the support being things that I had already done, but I tried them again just to be sure. Once we got to the place where it looked like they were going to have to take the device back because it was actually broken, all support communication stopped. I have messaged multiple times given more than the promised 24-48 hour windows for them to respond, but nothing. I ended up having to completely shut off the wireless router portion of this device, purchase a different wireless router and use this device as simply a modem -- a very expensive modem. I would not recommend this router because it is unreliable nor would I recommend Netgear support. They seem to be unreliable as well.

I waited 3.30 hours on the phone for tech support and got disconnected (never received a call back even when I stressed the number to call back in case of disconnection. Speed is low compare to the extra router I have. I have a 200mbps speed with Xfinity. I thought it would help extend the range and keep up the high speed. not the case. overall a bit pricey but an OK product.

I bough an extender which worked great, however, it took up an electrical wall socket that in the kitchen. Found I had to remove it too often to use kitchen tools (mixers, toaster, etc). So, I researched and purchased the AC1750, connected it, then immediately found the signal strength was greater than I anticipated. Easy installation too. Thanks Netgear!

This thing actually performs BETTER than the Arris brand that the cable company had provided. There is also very good coverage anywhere we may be in our house, and a good distance outside around the house, perhaps 100 ft or more, has a strong enough signal to be still effective. On the second attempt I finally got a person that solved the problem. The Netgear works flawlessly and has a good signal strength. It was easy to connect the other 'little things' like the thermostats, printer and the like.

Luckily I had old computer to get connected and then was able to connect surface pro wirelessly. Now all my devices are wireless. Also the cable modem is great; the speed is great too. This is my 3rd Netgear over the years and I'm very pleased with the equipment.

I chose the comfort of a one-time payment of purchasing my own router/modem rather than the convenience of paying a provider a small monthly service fee to rent a router/modem for the life of my term. In the long-run, NetGear not only saves me money but pays for itself in a very short time. Add to the fact, NetGear's dependability, quality, and great customer service are excellent reasons why I choose NetGear to allow me to connect with the world.

I did change the setting from 5 to 2.4, so I was able to get WiFi in the one furthest upstairs bedroom. For some reason it's still difficult to reach this bedroom, but the rest of the house is fine. Service on our IPhones is working properly, which is the reason for the new device.

Since I didn't want to connect a landline and didn't need the number of ports their unit provides, I picked this one, which sells at roughly half the price. Setup was fairly quick and easy, especially for a first timer like myself. It does what I need, and it'll take 15 months to come out ahead with buying vs. renting. Very satisfied with my decision.

The product worked great for 9 months then locked me out of the internet...I pressed the little reset button and redid my network and boom worked perfectly fine now. Tech support wanted $230 to set it up...no thanks I'll pay Geeksquad to do it and actually be able to understand them.

The WiFi signal reaches from one end of my house to the other with no issues. I also love the control that I have using the netgear app to monitor who is on my network and block access if needed. It also has met my need for speed with gaming. I would recommend this router for anyone that's looking for a dependale router for a reasonable price.

After wasting hours of my time, I was told to return the box for another one. They refused to give me a refund. I also was disconnected from the phone line about four times. The Modem/Router combo is sleek, compact and a WiFi powerhouse! I’ve rented from my internet provider before and didn’t have the greatest experience, but as soon as I UPGRADED to Netgear I have had flawless streaming and connectivity! As download speed increased in my area (now up to 800 mbps my internet has improved more and more because the Netgear AC1750 has the capability to keep up! Netgear is the only brand I’ll ever consider, cannot recommend their products enough!

It gets confused and leaves the install in a half finished state. I used your standard interface to the cable modem router via a connected device to clean up and finish the install.

There are significant speed differences when on wifi and not utilizing the ac band. Purchased the router to facilitate Wi-Fi but need to be connected via a lan connection to get optimal performance since the i7 quad core computer is not on an ac band.

Purchasing my own and setting it up was pretty straight forward. Had some problems pairing my air printer but worked through it. Signal seems stronger throughout the house.

I have two at different addresses so you had the rename the 2 channels a different name because of password conflicts. Excellent product.

But it is beyond me why it would be packed with the sticker that has the necessary QR code, username, and password on the OUTSIDE of the plastic that is meant to be stripped away and discarded. I peeled off the plastic when I set up the unit, seeing that it would impede the ventilation if it had been left in place. Much, much later I realized that the sticker with the QR code and the username/password was on that plastic which had been thrown out. PLEASE, for the sake of future customers, PUT THAT STICKER DIRECTLY ON THE UNIT, NOT ON THE PLASTIC COVERING THAT IS MEANT TO BE REMOVED AND THROWN AWAY!

We have been having rolling blackouts 5 times in the last week and finally the router stopped working. Called Spectrum and they couldn’t come out to replace until the following week. I have college student at home and decided to go to target and purchase a router and modem combo. The sales associate recommended Netgear AC 1750. I was nervous about hooking up the new system, but it was so easy. Plugged and call Spectrum to give them ID number. I took me less than 5 minutes. Our connection is much faster, the App is easy to use.

This equipment actually works better because I no longer lose internet constantly throughout the day. It was difficult to set up with XFINITY due to lack of knowledge by the Xfinity tech. Once NETGEAR was installed on my phone, it was simple to connect to service.

The system was easy to setup with our existing provider, and all of our devices were able to connect within 24 hours (some had some issues, but were gone within the day). Internet lagging is also gone with the new system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very unreliable operation and premature failure Purchased this combo unit and against my desired I bought a COMBO, highly dislike doing this due to the fact that once one part of the unit fails its over it all goes to the trash. Unit started failing dropping comms on 2.4 channel, at first it was randomly then it was more and more often. Reset the unit to factory to find out that I could no longer log into the unit via the web browser, had to use an app from a PC that would not display to proper size. After factory reset the unit has performed a little better but after just 2 weeks its back to the erratic operation. One thing its hard for me to believe is no tech support on this unit at all, you have to pay to get support on a defect of the product. There is no way I can get help to determine if it is a firmware issue (I did check for latest firmware or nothing. Netgear I had enough with this from you guys.

The support staff helped me a great deal and were polite and patient. It works well and should repay the cost of the rental un 10 months

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My View on Netgear So far it has been going good, I was a little disappointed that even thought it says it can get up to 1300 mbps it really only can reach up to 680 mbps. Regardless it’s still better than what I had previously so it’s been working fine. It definitely will be saving me some money compared to renting a modem from Comcast. At first I was thinking of returning this and going for something that can reach the full 1300 but as I mentioned it has been working fine so I decided to keep this.

Knock it off with all the insructions in pure geek speak. I had to set up for a dozen people who are tech savvy. Dont tell me you cant make it easier. Bring back Genie also. Nighthawk app. doesnt work and drains phone battery in minutes. Suppose you dont have a phone? Bill Gates would be frustrated. Your selling these products to the average consumer that doesnt have a masters in comp. engineering. Get with the program !

The power went out one day and the router completely stopped working afterwards. Never got resolved. Customer service was a nightmare.

However, we have had inconsistent results. In about 70% of the times my family initiated use of our WiFi, everything works great. But the other 30% of the time, the connection is very slow, and in quite a few cases, it takes 10-15 seconds to make the initial connection to WiFi. The proximity of our devices connecting to this modem router is same room, next room, and/or different floor. Regardless, we get the same inconsistent results. Very frustrating experience.

So when we needed a router/modem for our vacation home it was a no brainer to get netgear again. However the one we got did not work at all and had to be returned. And the second one we got kept losing 2.4. So needless to say we return that one too. We are done with Netgear it seems the quality is just not up to par anymore.

Brought it home hooked it all up was way as 1,2,3 although Xfinity struggled a little on my end it was all successful. Will most definitely buy this again. My husband was a skeptic on it at first. He rather have the other brands. When I showed him the range it covers it went quiet real fast. We have a 3100 sqft home and we have coverage on both floors, have our garage, doorbell, security cameras, TVs and laptops on it. If you internet is running slow contact your provider the modem is not the problem.

However, sense replacing my old router with this one, the internet cuts out multiple times a day for 10 minutes at a time...this did not happen before. Trying restarting, troubleshooting etc. After I reset it for the 3 time it finally started working. But then within that hour, the WiFi would connect but not internet would be transmitted. Bought a new different brand router, instantly started working. Have not had a problem yet. Do not recommend this router at all. (I am an xfinity customer)

After a few days speeds dropped and I’ve had to reset it twice now. Speeds dropped to an appalling 1.5mbs. Terrible. When I reset it everything works better but after a day or so it drops again. I may have to return and go back to factory modem/router if this persists.

I’m not sure what took me so long to do it considering it pays for it self within less than a year compared to renting from the cable company. As far as speeds go, it consistently out performs my previous setup by about 125%-150%. Very happy with this purchase!

The Nighthawk app did not work and kept showing me a picture of the wrong router. It would then freeze and I had to find a customer service number and waited on hold for a long time. The man on the phone said the app has been down and many people are having trouble with it. After it all got set up, the wifi works fine but make sure you have all day to set it up.

Probably overkill for the size of my apartment (a large-ish studio, but nice to have excellent signal everywhere, even through walls and on the balcony.

The set up was super easy and if I had any questions I just went online and it walked me right through the set up. We have not had any problems since and cannot wait to save money in the future due to not having to pay a monthly rental through our provider. Would highly recommend this product!!

The wifi on 5G channel is often poorer than 2.4G. if you have somewhere between 100-400 Mbps connection, this router should be good. One downside is not having USB 3 port.

My old modem died and I found myself in the aisles of Walmart at 10:00 pm. I got home, opened the box and read the directions. The set up was EASY. The unit was not overloaded, as only 2 computers were connected over WiFi at one time. Searching the internet found that this was a known issue with this router for several years, and still has not been fixed. Replaced with a different brand, and WiFi connection works flawlessly. Stay away from this router - history of poor performance.

I have an old XPS with Vista that can. I tried all of the suggested work arounds on the Netgear site. No luck. I'm not buying the security claims. This is about tracking and spying on you through your mobile device. Somer of us prefer to still use a computer to do things.

I now have speeds exceding 220mbps. My best speed previously was 75mbps, and I thought I was happy with that. I was surprised and am very pleased with this as my choice!! Highly recommend!!

My internet service provider informed me there is an unstable connection because my Netgear firmware is not updated. They can not update it because it is not their equipment. I have tried several times to update it myself through the Netgear website instructions and through the mobile app, but nothing has worked. There should be an easier way to update my Netgear modem router.

I have talked to support and they weren’t any help either. I love how I can customize the wifi settings and that it has 2 separate wifi to connect to with the 2.4 and 5G. It has been working great by giving me speeds OVER 200mbps even though I only pay for 200 mbps. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

This allows me to have a fast connection on devices in the office via Ethernet cable and wifi, as well as a connection that is good enough to supply internet to smart tvs and phones throughout the house

Mother does circles around the living room passing out 5G internet like a retarted beaver slingin wood chips. Love it more than my ex wife loves leaving late to get lucky. This thing, man I’ll tell ya what it’s got more speed than me tryna get home after ripping 5 peppers from that Mexican restaurant so I can destroy my bathroom wallpaper. The lights on the thing, this here looks like terminator had a baby with an alien that had radioactive exposure, heck the dern thing will light up ya floor space at night so you can army crawl to the bump at the front door to exercise ya 2nd amendment. The detent of the power button, this here is what sold me. We’ve all been there at some point. That satisfying bubble wrap pop we can’t get enough of. Netgear was able to capture that and they put the satisfaction of the click/pop into the power button making this thing worth easily $1000 a pop. The yellow Ethernet cable that comes with it was dripping with pure quality out of the box. I myself have never seen anything like it. I plugged it into my Xbox and BOOM it game it so much internet it downloaded games before I hit download. Was trying to play call of duty and was able to see what people were gonna do before they did it. I recon we have the power cable up next. If you’re still with me and need to change underpants before you read next, now is that time. The power cable is something you would find in a sci-fi movie. With a glance it looks standard power equipment but no. I plugged it into the wall and the lights flickered for a split second. Now with the help of that plug our house is self sufficient and able to run our neighbors houses. This bad boy supplies enough power to and sheer will to unsink the titanic. Overall this has been by far the best product from netgear I’ve ever bought or probably will. Just sitting here now looking at it gives me the feeling of warmth as I know when I wake up in the morning it will have successfully solved the problems we face everyday and send it to me, however I probably haven’t had coffee at the time it sent so it gets deleted. Pretty good stuff. From not on its Netgear everything.

Wireless networks would intermittently broadcast and be no/slow speeds. Received replacement under warranty for $29 or have to wait 20-28 days for the free shipping method. Not a fan

Although it's a little pricier I think it was worth it. The range on this router is excellent and the connectivity/speed is great as well. I purchased this router for my wife's new apartment since she started medical school and needs the internet connection to be optimal. She is not disappointed with this purchase. Highly recommended!

Setting up the modem, network, and adding all of the devices took less than an hour. Very simple, almost completely automated. The modem works better than the cable company's, faster speeds on both 2.4 and 5.0 bands. Seem to have better range also. I was able to purchase this modem on sale for $129.00 plus tax. will save $156.00 per year renting modem from cable company, already $25.00 ahead. So far great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Modem and Great WiFi Router As a Cable Internet Technician I have found the C6300 to work comparably well to the higher costing modem/routers on the market. It's WiFi coverage is perfect for my family and home layout (multi-level). I have seen competitor brands operate in customer homes and consistently recommend Netgear products, especially the C6300.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not too bad! Works awesome! Great signal all over the house and about 10 feet outside the house. The routerlogin.net leaves a little to desire and the app is basically worthless. But if you're not into all the techs stuff, it's great!

Liked 2 of the other ones but actually did some research before buying this one. Very happy and please with the performance best modem router I have used. Two years no more buffering!! Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than expected The Netgear C6300 far surpassed my expectations. Not only does it provide 2.4 ghz and 5.0 ghz connections it allows you to have both at the same time. A great resource in Smart Home connectivity since not all home devices support 5.0 ghz. In addition, the Netgear Genie app allows you to take control of your network making the C6300 a valuable asset to your network.

I purchased this product and with approximately two days of headaches with tech support and etc. it was determined by me that this product was defective from the onset. One day three I had the opportunity to take the defective product back to Office Depot for a replacement. Within 15 minutes my new network and all other wireless devices were back up running smoothly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but not great The 6300 works good when I am on the 5g WiFi but when I’m on the regular it goes in and out and is very inconsistent. I’m only getting about 20-30 mbps on the regular WiFi and I get over 200 mbps on the 5g wifi. I would use the 5g everywhere but it does reach throughout my entire house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I had been using the modem/router I had rented from Spectrum and I was frustrated and unhappy due to the fact that the shows I was watching were continually interrupted due to buffering. I researched the products that were available commercially and, because I previously owned a Netgear product that I was happy with, I bought a Netgear Ac 1750 modem/router. The installation was simple even for me (I'm 82! and the product has solved the buffering issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, Reliable, Consistent and Secure This is the best router that I've purchased. Many routers can misbehave after a service network outage. Not this router. As soon as service is back up, it resumes where it left off. Connections with all devices always works and the router is as fast as they come. The router has excellemt secuity features as well. Will be buying another Netgear in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AC1750 WiFi DOCSIS 3.0 modem I purchased the AC1750 modem because the modem that I had from Cox was 5 years old, I was getting rid of satellite, and I was paying a rental fee. The AC1750 modem works great! I have a 2 story home and I get great coverage throughout. This modem has exceeded all my expectations, especially since I own a 2 story home and we stream a lot. I recommend this modem to anybody looking for a great WiFi modem.

Clocked this unit at 435 mbps on the 5G and 150 mbps on the 2.4. Easy to set up though it's best to do it with the Ethernet cable included at 192.168.1.1 If u are looking to replace your existing modem/router combo this is a great unit!

We were previously frustrated with the free WiFi service that the apartment offered and after researching different WiFi cable modem routers we decided to choose NETGEAR AC1750 and are very happy with our purchase. Plenty of ethernet ports and has both 2.4ghz and 5ghz signal. Highly recommend for console gamers and most typical internet users.
