Tripp Lite's 10-meter (33 ft.) USB 2.0 active extension cable is a bus powered extension cable that can be used to increase the length of a device cable without the worry of signal loss and potential performance problems. USB limits a cable's length to 16ft. Any length above 16 feet requires the use of an active cable such as this one. This cable has a signal booster built in. The overall cable length can be extended up to 131ft by daisy chaining up to 4 of these active cables. The cable must be plugged directly into a USB port (either on the PC or a hub). Use a standard 6' 10' or 15' USB A-B cable to reach the desired distance.
The U026-10M provides up to 150mA of power to the connected device. If your device requires more than 150mA of power, it will either need to have its own power supply; or, to be plugged into a powered USB 2.0 hub (such as U222-004-R) that is connected to the U026-016.

No drama, it just works!
We needed to test a USB device in a test chamber. The host laptop had to be outside the test chamber, some distance away. The U026-10M, a USB active extension cable worked great to connect the device to the host. It operated at full USB2.0 speed, even when the cable was exposed to very strong EMI inside the chamber.
Usual Tripp-Lite product....it just works!!

Works well
Ran my 3d printer cable into another room, working great. Also plugged in my 16ft USB extension for a total length of 55ft but the connection is strong. Wish it wasn't coiled so tightly though.

Plug it in and go - simple!
Really easy to use - just plug it in, plug your device or other cable into the other end, and you're good to go. Really not much to it. I know TrippLite products are built to last.

I finally got a good one!
I finally got a good one! I have tried many usb cables, and I finally purchased a Tripplite product the cable uses quality thick cable with durable molded connector ends. But best of all it worked the first time with no compatability errors, and self loaded necessary drivers correctly. Thanks Jon
