Always A Great Product
I have purchased many APC products in the past. I purchased this product to help simplify my home A/V system's plugs. As usual for APC, it was easy to set up. Considered another brand, but came back to APC in the end.

House wiring fault light faulty
I may have been shipped a faulty unit. The red house wiring fault came on immediately, and then turned off. I checked the house wiring with a standard 3 prong wiring tester that shows any open connection. The house wiring was fine. After I finished installing the unit, I noticed that just tapping the body of the unit would turn the house wiring fault light on and off. This was independent of any motion on the plug into the wall.

High quality well built but missing a feature
This line of SurgeArrest product are very well built and very reliable though this one is missing the ethernet protection so if you need that then you'll want to look at the unit that is a step up from this one. If that's not needed, then this will definitely serve you well. Recommended!

Plugs with wide tips
Equipment plugs with wide tips will not plug in the this model. Have to use 12 inch extension cord

What I really like about this unit is that the way the outlets are positioned and spaced out, I am able to nearly all of them in a unit that has a very small footprint for 11 outlets.

Gives plenty of options for plugs!
This thing is fantastic if you have a combo of power bricks and two prong at your desk. We use these standard at our office as well as our customers due to the amount of protection options.

Surge Arrest doing a great job!
I purchased and installed this SurgeArrest Surge Protector two years ago. It has been "on" practically non-stop since then, providing power and protection for my entire Home Entertainment System. It was reasonably priced and has a lifetime product warranty. I highly recommend this product.

I called technical services and ask what the clamping voltage is for the P11VT3 surge protector. I was told 300 volts. I was satisfied with this.

too much/not enough
i am a return customer for an apc surge protector. the old one died on me. the new one has a lot of jingle jangle for phones, tv etc but is missing any outlets that remain on. my old surge protector had outlets that remained on when the unit is shut as well as a number of outlets that can be shut off. i find this essential for a home office and now forced to employ two devices for where there once was one.
new and improve? maybe not.

This unit is very solid surge protector (I own 2 of them). You get great protection (3020 joules), and a lifetime product warranty. I know my equipment will be well protected while connected. Great product!

Best surge protection I've ever used
Until you witness this device clamping down during a lightning storm which I have done, you can't appreciate the protection it offers. Just reset and you are back in business with no damage to the connected equipment. I have seen the competition fail both when protection should have kicked in and just like that, one day the competition decided to blow a component on the circuit board and an acrid smell eminated from it. Needless to say I replaced it with this APC unit.

Best power strip yet.
I am so pleased to finally get a power strip/surge protector with receptacles designed for those hated, huge, space sucking-up transformers on so many devices. This is perfect. Along with the protection guarantee, can't really go wrong.

compact but holds power bricks, protects expensive devices
I did not want battery based power backup, so this compact surge arrester is what I need to protect a large screen t.v., cable modem, router, wi-fi booster, sound bar, DVD player and a couple other devices. Its smaller size and weight means it fits easily behind my t.v., and its intelligent layout means the power bricks do not crowd out the smaller plugs. Its electrical rating is strong enough to cover all the devices I've plugged into it. You may have noticed this surge arrester also has input and output jacks for phone lines and antennae feeds.
You do need to add up the watts and amps for everything you will plug into any surge arrester, to be certain it will protect your devices. If your devices' total is very close to the maximum of a particular surge arrester, consider buying the next size up, for you never know if you will be adding another gizmo in the future that will need protection.
Add up the cost for all your devices, and think about what you would do while waiting for REPLACEMENT new ones if needed after they are damaged by a power surge.
The manufacturer being APC means this is a highly reliable device. CDW has a terrific price, and very good delivery, both of these aspects are what one expects from CDW.

Good outlet strip
Solid mount with long cord for easy placement. Allows horizontal or vertical mounting with good outlet layout for electrical cords, phone, and cable. Much better than same priced strips at hardware stores.

Quality protection, gets the job done.
Gets the job done. It definitely lowers the coaxial signal strength on the filter, but it’s ok, performance was actually smoother in general because the signal levels were too high. Good protection!

Great. Fits all the different power supplies
It’s perfect. It even fit some items I wasn’t sure would fit. Allowed me to get everything plugged in directly without any extension cords for the odd size power supplies. I do not use the phone and/or cable connections.
