Need to make RS-232RS-422 conversion for async communication? It provides 115.2kbps speed for short-distance transmission or 19.2kbps speed for communication up to 4000 feet (1219.2 m).
Convert unbalanced RS-232 signals to balanced RS-422 signals.
If the peripheral you’re connecting to operates on the RS-422 signal, you only need one IC1473A-F or IC1474A-F converter. But if the transmitting and receiving equipment use only RS-232, two converters are required, one at each end of the line. The RS-232 side of both converters uses a DB9 female connector. However, the RS-422 side of the IC1473A-F uses a terminal block and the RS-422 side of the IC1474A-F uses another DB9 female connector.
