The PT-P750W is a powerful, yet easy-to-use label maker with plenty of wireless and wired connectivity options. It is easy for multiple users, even on different computers and mobile devices, to create and print virtually any durable, colorful, professional label they can imagine. With a built-in wireless 802.11 b/g/n interface, the PT-P750W is the ideal choice for sharing a label printer amongst multiple users. Pre-loaded labeling software lets you plug into nearly any PC or Mac computer via its USB interface and almost immediately begin designing and printing labels, with the convenience of using a monitor and full-sized keyboard. The PT-P750W is also NFC compatible, so you can "touch to connect" to quickly establish contact with most NFC-capable devices. Though it's great for individual label printing, the PT-750W is particularly well-suited to multi-label creation jobs thanks to its fast print speeds, repeat printing capability, and automatic half or full tape cutter.

Wifi feature is not good at all
I chose this particular machine because I thought the wifi feature would be very convenient in that it would allow you to print from you mobile device but the feature does not function well at all. This is true with my both my Android and iOS devices. Every time I try to print from my mobile devices, the app says that it is unable to connect to a device. So I have to try multiple ways to get it to connect to my device even trying to connect manually with the IP address doesn't work. I always have to connect through direct wifi and then it will connect. But that means I have to disconnect from the network I'm on and then connect to the printer. I just think the connection process should flow more smoothly any time I want to print wirelessy.

Good Product, Lacks basic functions
Speedy and quick printer, however, this printer can not tell when the tape is out and continues to try and print. All pervious printers from Brother have stopped the printing process allowing for a tape change. Since I use this printer for remote printing at my job, it leads to problems when the tape runs out and it only prints half a job. For a printer that can be networked to other printers and share print queues, that feature is a must!

Great wireless label make
This is the best idea yet. A wireless label maker that works on my Mac. I had another label maker that uses the computer, but when I change computers to a Mac, the label maker and Mac did not recognize each other. This did not happen with the Brother Pt-P750W. As soon as I used the USB cord on the label maker and hooked it up to the Mac I was able to print immediately. Great idea and great product. I highly recommend this label maker. There are also so many different colored labels and sizes.

Quirky software, very good printer
I really like this printer, but the software that it is bundled with is a bit quirky. For example, one day it started placing all text within a frame on any new label. I figured out how to turn it off temporarily, but it comes right back with the next new label. Really annoying. I can’t figure how to make it gone and keep it gone.
It prints beautiful labels any number of ways. They are always crisp, easy to read, and do the job well. The Brother software has tons of features, some are hidden deep within the sub menus. Often trying to find a feature requires going to the on-line help (which isn’t always easy to maneuver through. which can be a pain. And the help info is hit or miss as to if the topic one is looking for exists.
This printer is more temperamental than some of the other label printers I’ve had from brother. For example, it has jammed more times than any other brother label printer. When it jams, the tape cartridge is done. You cannot repair it, you just have to toss it.
But those are minor inconveniences that can be overcome. For the most part the printer works well, does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does that well over and over again.
I like the chain printing feature which saves quite a bit on tapes. Otherwise every label has an 1” to 1.5” of leader before the actual text.

wastes ALOT of ribbon tape
this printer wastes ALOT of ribbon tape when making labels. its a little blurry and can be touch and go with lettering clarity. the directions for set up are lack luster, good ol google to the rescue. i have a brothers printer scanner that i simply adore, assuming i would also love their barcode printer as much i went looking for one. While it does work, had i seen its results prior to buying i would have selected something different.

Great machine with some minor limitations.
The machine is great. Easy to use, load, and the software is easy to use. The only thing is it wastes tape. It maybe a setting but it rolls some tape out then cuts it off then prints before every label. Then the 2nd downer is the graphics in the software on all platforms is limited when they could be more abundant and better. Other than those two things it works great and has many tape options in size, color and tape type mediums.

This is a really great little tape printer. It is compact, compatible with a large number of label tape options. The software works well and provides for customizable output. I use mine with stencil tape to make stencils for electro-chemical etching. I am very happy with the output...does exactly what I needed it to do. Also, very useful for making custom stick-on labels.

Overall Great Product
I purchased this product for mostly office use. It does come in handy for all the folder labeling I must do. My only complaint about this product is in it's documentation and set-up guides. They both state that the Direct Connect feature is by default enabled for quick use of the product. After losing some time at work, I decided to install all software on my personal computer and open up the Communications options. Turns out this feature is in fact not enabled for quick use out of the box. After I changed those settings, I was able to create labels from my Android device quickly.

Great machine - missing one feature on the app...
So far so good, I use this mostly from my phone and not from a laptop or a desktop computer. I was hoping to be able to make UPC-A barcodes. The app has multiple other barcode formats but not a regular UPC format. Other than that I really like it! I would recommend it to a friend as long as they did not need it for UPC-A barcodes.

Ability to label most any item without looking cheap and superficial. Makes organizing things clean and neat.

Disappointed with the features
The printer works fine. The advertising looked great. I could print wirelessly with my phone and it runs on batteries. What could be better. When I opened it up I put in the batteries and the NFC or WIFI would not work.
It took 5 hours between 3 different calls and 1 replacement unit to find out that the NFC and WIFI only works when it is plugged in. That was very disappointing. The printer is still good, just not as flexible as advertised. And their top tech support did not know about this problem.

Good Printer, Crummy Instructions
I've been very happy with the printer. It spits out lovely labels in a jiffy and works flawlessly. The setup instructions are very poorly written and it took me longer than it should have to get things up and running. Once I was over that hump everything went well. I'd advise Brother to start over with the documentation.

Works well with PC or IOS app. The embedded software is great for quick use with remote systems, without the hassle of downloading or carrying CD's, DVD's or flash drives. Need to put a "fail safe" in the print mode
I have mine connected via USB so it's not very fidgety. Only problem I have is I accidentally will print other items rather than label to the printer, and it churns out 4-6 labels of waste. I'd like to see a software stop interuppt me, "Do you REALLY want to print to the P750W". That would save the wasted tape.
Still haven't figured out how to print labels 2-3 at a time without importing data, I want to enter the data myself, just don't know how, and Brothers canned answer was for data importing, not data entering.

Unbelievably difficult to setup in this day & age!
After two days of telephone Technical Support, I was instructed to return the label printer because nothing we did to trouble shoot the device would connect it to my home network. The second unit also required a call to Technical Support and eventually we were able to connect. The documentation accompanying this device is a mess, Brother needs to look at what companies like Apple, Sonos, etc are doing to make an excellent customer experience.
This is a nice label maker, however, overpriced and a challenge to instal - be prepared for frustration!

Broken Application Makes for Limited Usability
I put off writing this review awaiting a fix from Brother Support for the application used to print the labels. I use a Mac and the application has encountered a bug that causes it to crash any time you click on one of the tabs. So, you can't use the most desired part of the application.
The only reply I got from their support was to delete and reinstall the application, which I had already done and it did not fix the issue. It's now been weeks and they have yet to respond from my additional requests. I also had to open a second ticket on the issue, because they CLOSED the original one without ever making sure the issue was resolved.
Ability to get support is a very large part of any product review for me and others should be aware of what to expect in this regard. If you don't have issues that require support, then this product seems to function as expected.
I do like the partial cut feature that makes for easier peeling off of the label backing.

I really like the fact that I can leave it out on the counter and when I need a label just simply turn it on, open my phone app and input the label and print. The only reason I gave this machine a 4 star rating is I wanted the ability to make UPC-A barcode labels and you can only do that through the computer program! Brother keeps saying it’s coming at a later time for the app and it’s been over a year so until then.... 4 Stars!
