Our aluminum hub conveniently adds four high speed USB 2.0 ports to your desktop or laptop computer. The slim form factor saves space while the port placement and hard-mountable metal base keep the hub in place even when several USB devices are connected. The removable aluminum base can be hard-mounted to your desk. The hub easily slides from that base, and makes it convenient for travel as well. This hub can be self-powered from the USB port, or utilize an AC power supply adapter (included). Downstream ports have automatic connect and speed detection plus overcurrent protection with auto recovery. Add additional hubs to daisy-chain up to 127 devices; this hub delivers high speed data transfers up to 480 Mbps. Whether you are downloading or transferring spreadsheets, MP3 files, digital pictures, or video streams, our 4-port hub makes connecting several high speed USB 2.0 devices hassle-free. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The 4-Port USB 2.0 Aluminum Hub for X-Ray sensor It works really well in the first couple months. Then It lost connection from the USB to desktop sometimes. Our dental office used this port to connect digital sensor and intra-oral camera to desktop. After about 8 or 10 months we got the message USB connection disconnect in the middle of taking X-Ray or picture. We then took the sensor out of the port to connect directly to desktop. It worked fine. That's only problem we have been encountered in last 5 years.

We tried TONS of difficult "fixes" for this problem. Finally we were talking to one of techs (someone unrelated to our digital imaging) and he suggested we try this product. I immediately bought it and we haven't had a problem since!

Awesome I attach it behind my DJ Laptop Stand (Stanton Uber Stand)looks nice, now i can connect two hard drives, DJ controller and a mouse..:) Slim,strong and very nice black color finish and chrome on the sides,cool blue led light..can be attach or detach from the stand since has a provided metal plate..This is way cool.

The unit arrived, it is beautifully finished, I tried it out, works great. The spacing on the USB ports is wide enough so virtually any accessory can be inserted comfortably and without crowding. I am using it on a laptop we use for meeting presentations, and the hub will really simplify setup for multiple devices. I am very happy with it and C2G service. Exactly as described and well finished, a real winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid device with flexible options I use this device to expand the USB ports on my laptop. I have gone through (read: "broken") two USB hubs so far, and I was looking for something sturdy and flexible. This device does the trick - very sturdy, portable, flexible (PC or AC powered), and relatively small. I don't anchor it, but I find the USB cable attachment to my PC to be a good length and I can move it wherever needed on my desk. All devices I've attached to it have worked perfectly.
