Just plug-and-play for hard drive enclosures, printers, modems, cameras, and other SuperSpeed USB peripherals. This cable provides a transfer rate of up to 4.8 Gbps when connected with a USB 3.0 compliant host and device. Foil and braid shielding reduces EMI/RFI interference and twisted pair construction helps reduce crosstalk thus ensuring SuperSpeed, error-free data transfer. Protective overmolded connector is color-coded blue to highlight USB 3.0 connectivity compatibility.
Please Note: USB 3.0 (4.8 Gbps) provides TEN TIMES the capability of USB 2.0 (480 Mbps); it also provides up to 900 mA power instead of the 500 mA available with USB 2.0. Type A connections are backwards compatible to USB 2.0 and even USB 1.1. Finally, while USB 2.0 cables will work with USB 3.0 devices (at the lower USB 2.0 transmission speed and power), you won't enjoy the SuperSpeed of USB 3.0 without connecting with USB 3.0 cables!

I purchased 4 cables as the above from a large competitor none worked properly. Hit and miss. C2G was the only cable that provided the connection needed.

I can't comment of the technical aspects of this cable, but it appears to be well made and I have experienced no problems. I use it to connect my tower computer, which is located on the floor, to a USB hub which sits on my desk. Everything is working great. Its nice to have the hub on the desk located next to my monitor.

Great Length, Fixed a Connection Issue
Due to Work From Home constraints, a longer cord was needed to attach an older ScanSnap scanner to a new XPS desktop. Due to age, the machines couldn't communicate. This longer USB cable fixed everything in just a few moments. It's working great.

Quality cable works well specifically needed USB 3.0 to support keyboard and wireless mouse both connected to USB hub in my monitor. USB 2.0 cable led to erratic behavior with the keyboard
