Know your gear
Conquer USB length limitations, and put your USB devices where you want them with our USB superbooster. This pocket-sized device extends the distance of a USB device to a host computer up to 150 feet so you can place your USB camera, printer, web cam, keyboard/mouse extension, or any other USB device exactly where you want it! This booster is powerful yet simple, with no drivers to install or special software required so it's compatible with any computer that supports USB.
This plug-and-play device consists of a base unit and a remote unit connected together by a standard Cat5, Cat5E, or Cat6 network cable (not included). Simply connect your cables to your device; then connect to your computer and USB peripheral and you're up and running. Bus-powered, it requires no external power source. Instead, the superbooster has internal DC power conditioning circuits to maintain the proper voltage to the remote device so no external power is required for either the base or remote units. Compliant with USB Specification 1.1.
Please Note: The power demands of devices such as external drives and USB hubs may require the use of external power for proper operation. Please consult with your device manual or manufacturer for details. During installation, do not connect the transmitter to the PC until all other connections in the system have been made. The other connections in this system would include the Cat5e/6 cable between the transmitter and receiver, a USB hub placed at the receiver or any other USB device that would be connected to the receiver. Connecting the transmitter to the computer without first making other connections may result in damage to the Superbooster.
Note: If the USB signal is being extended to support an interactive whiteboard, then we recommend using our product

Simple means to extend mouse or keyboard
We recently use this item to extend a computer mouse and/or keyboard 50 feet in a number of tough enviroments. Simple to use. Recommend use with a snagless ethernet cable. The units performed well. Plug and play. No issues.

Great Product!
Taking high resolution photographs of residential landscapes and swimming pools from a height of 40' could not be accomplished without this USB Superbooster. It quickly sends Live View images from my mounted camera to a laptop over a length of 75' CAT5e cable without any issues.

Flakey at Best
Flakey, intermittent. The pins get stuck down and have to be popped back into there slots on the RJ45 connectors. Do not buy this unless you like loosing connection to your computer.

The USB Superbooster is a cut above
We tried another brand (slightly lowered price), but it did not perform. After searching for solutions we noticed that most products ONLY recommend this USB extender for use with their product. So we ordered it - BANG! Worked perfectly right away. Since then we have not wasted our time with any other brands. This one is flawless. Thanks!

Not bad, does what it says
It works most of the time, it does not handle multiple USB devices at once. It is only USB 1.0

USB 1.1 Superbooster Extender, too slow
Used to connect a web cam mounted on the top of a wall mounted 60" LCD monitor used for video conferencing. The web cam is connected to the Conf Room computer, accross the conference room, via a CAT5 cable in wall. The video quality was poor due to the slow speed of this device, USB version 1.1. A similar USB via CAT5 extender (USB 2.0) was swapped with this one and the video quality improved dramatically.

Superbooster works Great!
I use this product in a teaching setting to allow me to interface with the engine and bring the data into the classroom.
Everything works great, I only need 75 feet of cable so the cable is too long and is a lot to handle. Otherwise a great product.
