Switching to Nikon from
Lack of clarity in advertising/buyer beware.
My fault, I was thinking this lens would work with my EOS 80D. It doesn’t. It is for mirrorless cameras and will cost you $$$ to mail back as Canon does not supply return postage. I’m thinking of switching to Nikon.

Great Lens
Besides the kit lens 15-45mm on the camera, I immediately purchased the 22mm because if its f2 stop. I do not regret that purchase a bit. The lens is magnificent, especially if you use it indoors where you need better f stop. When I shoot indoors, I do not take it down. I do believe it makes better, faster, and sharper pictures. Another benefit of having this lens on is that the camera becomes ridiculously small, yet takes pictures with the quality of more expensive camera. CANON, PLEASE MAKE MORE NATIVE EF-M LENSES. We need them desperately. We need especially lenses with lower f stops. Something like f2 (or f1.8 18-55mm would be ingenious (or why not f 1.8, 18-150mm). They may be too expensive but I'm sure people will buy them. Currently the lowest f stop has the 22mm. Even the 11-22mm has f3.5. We are basically left with one decent lens, namely the 22mm.

Great lens for EOS-M
If you own an EOS-M you either already have this lens or ought to. The 22mm focal length, equivalent to a 35mm on a full frame camera, and f/2 maximum aperture makes this a very versatile lens. My EOS-M does backup and 2nd or 3rd camera duty on video shoots where the STM focus on this lens is quiet, quick, precise and very useful during either full-time auto focus or touch-screen focus racking. Optical performance is very good, not the sharpest lens I own, but plenty good enough for any task I've given it.

Love this lens!
I would highly recommend this lens as the first upgrade from the kit lens. Autofocus is a tad slower than the EF-M 15-45mm, however, and the lack of an image stabilizer is a bit of a bummer but the image quality and the compact size more than makes up for any cons.

Great little lens
Great (and very discrete) for street photo. Super small and light. I've also used it to stitch panoramas together on hikes and climbs where I don't want to carry a lot of gear. I suppose it would also be good for VLogging, as I expect this lens was intended for, but I don't use it for that.

Great lens for travel
I’m not a pro. I like it because it’s small fast and producing crisp pictures. My go to lens for canon m50 body.

Nice lens for Canon Mirrorless cameras
It’s a nice little lens that makes the Canon EOS M6 feel more like a pocket camera.
The pictures are sharp but the distortion on the periphery is annoying and makes you want to avoid anything with lines in the background. I was hoping for more blur in the background considering that the lens is an f-2. To tell you the truth, my iPhone 8 does a better job with portraits. Also surprised that the lens itself is little better than a centimeter wide. What’s with that? So, overall, I’m rather disappointed.

Good overall lens for everyday use
Due to its small size as a "pancake" lens, I keep it on all the time since it's small. I end up moving closer to the subject if needed, so I don't miss the zoom as much as I thought. It's fast, so I get good background blurring.

AWESOME LENS!
While I'm not a pixel peeper, the lens is sharp wide open. Small and compact, it fits easily into any bag. The f/2 max aperture and 22mm focal length is great for situations where the EF 50mm f/1.8 (with adapter is too long due to space limitations.
