Great first camera
I’ve been using my T7 for a little over a year, and I love it. It’s my first “real” camera. Love the results, I’ve used it for wildlife, sports, architecture, etc. Added the canon 50 mm lens to the set up, and continued to get great results with that. This is a great entry level camera. I want to eventually upgrade to something like the R5 or R6, but I’ll keep using my T7 until it dies.

Honestly, feels really cheap?
It does take good pictures. Compared to what I had, T3i. It feels and handles like a toy camera. The lens are just oky doky for what I do. Iphone is more Convenient

Back up camera
Main reason was I wanted a back up camera with megapixels over 20. Didn’t need bells and whistles to go with it. Simply a basic camera in case my main camera fails for some reason. The 2 zoom lenses were a double plus for me. All in all I couldn’t pass this gem up.

An emergency replacement received for Christmas, 2019
Altho this is classed as an entry level camera, having past experience with the EOS40D, EOS5D MK 2, I went straight to the regular menus. I'm beyond impressed with this camera. I was going to repair the EOS5D, which was damaged but after experiencing the dual-pixel focusing and other features, saw no need to do repairs on a camera that didn't match the T7i. Major advancements in many areas, I'm keeping this one!

I like the camera. It is the second Rebel I have owned. It replaces the previous Rebel lost or perhaps stolen two years ago.
I will consider the fifth star when I figure out the how to get the WiFi capabilities functioning.

Rebel for Grandkids
Ordered two Rebel t7 cameras for my grandkids. The box containing the cameras came in a few days. Super efficient processing. In no time the grandkids were experimenting with the cameras. I know they are going to like their camera. I have had the Rebel t5i for several years now. Great camera!

For an entry level camera, this has been a really amazing camera package. I use it for work because I need better quality photos than those from a phone camera. No center pin on hotshoe
I bought the T7 yesterday ( 8-24 2019 and to my surprise no center pin on the hot shoe. Unable to use my PocketWizards also unable to shoot remote wirelessly. I would like to know if Canon has a wireless system compatible with the T7??? I will continue to be a Canon customer.

Should Have Gotten It Sooner
Being my first new camera in years (the T3i Rebel has done good by me since I got it I gotta say, I'm more than happy with the T7. Being able to pop my images to my phone or drive while on a job is amazing, and I realize I should have invested in this when it first came out. The quality is amazing, and I'm looking forward to the next set of cameras released from Canon.

New Photographers Purchase First Real Camera
We are new to the photography hobby, and this was our first "real" camera purchase. Thus far, both my wife and I have enjoyed roaming around our state taking pictures and using our other technology to create very memorable photos. It was a Christmas present, and having it to capture memories was rewarding. We looked over and reviewed many camera kits, and chose Canon over the other options, and thus far have been very pleased with the package we received.

Terrible in low light
I take a lot of sunset pictures and will bot take glow shots no matter which setting. My way less expensive power shot works and does acceptable. Very disapointing. Telephoto works but not in low light.

Don't buy it if you're planning to shoot video.
Not what you want if you're looking to shoot video. No image stabilization after you hit record. And you can't attach an external mic. Go for a different model.

Good experience and a great product. The second lens is "meh". I think I should have gone with the one lens kit, and bought a better telephoto lens separately. I'm a true novice and it took one trip out to want a lens with stabilization.
Also...I had an issue with Amazon Pay. Once I realized there was an issue, Cannon took care of the problem, but I had to call to question why the order wasn't shipping. Be wary if using the Amazon Pay function.

They changed the 75-300 lense
They’ve changed the 75-300 lens and didn’t think anyone would notice. They’ve removed the Image Stabilizer option making the lens less than desirable.

The camera is easy to learn and very versatile
The camera is easy to use on auto, and as the f/ stop and shutter speed can be set, the camera settings can be personalized for every situation. I do wildlife photography so the 75-300 is a must for me.

Super EASY for beginners or anyone looking for an economical upgrade
Great starter kit. I've been using Canon cameras since 1978 when I got my first 35mm body and have been away from photography for almost 10 yrs and decided it was time to upgrade my older digital Rebel kit to have something both easy to carry around and not be limited by what our phone cameras could do (which has always been a LOT, honestly, they are no doubt amazing for what they do). I have not created any brilliant or memorable artwork yet, but have been really happy with the camera, and especially the 70-300mm lens, which makes a HUGE difference over my older 70-200mm which I had been using since 1988 from my original EOS 35mm. Obviously from both the weight of the camera AND the range, but it the AF has been super-responsive and accurate. EASY, EASY, EASY to use and very competent!

Nice camera but...
This is my 2nd time around with this camera. For a while, it worked great... two years later and the same thing happens. When I take videos there are spots all over, can't clean it, and when shooting against a light background, spots! I tried to clean it but no go. When I take videos I have to make sure there's no water or sky involved or you will see the same spots!

How many apps do we have to download?? Why do I need to accept cookies to be able to download MY photos? It's been over a month and I still can't download my photos. IMAGE Quality sucks for the price! My Iphone has better quality and zoom features than this! This company is completly out of touch with today's technology!!! This is not even a good beginner product.

It was time to replace the old point and shoot and this one came highly recommended. Like the fact that it came with two lenses now just need time to use them. the camera bag could be better but that's not the reason you buy it and it is an ok storage bag.

Great Camera for Beginner Photographer
Camera Kit is great for starting in photography. It has the basic lens that you will need so that you don't have to purchase additional equipment right off the bat. I did get some additional equipment for mine so that I can take ultra-wide angle pictures and then i prefer different neck and hand straps. Overall a great kit. Would have been nice for Canon to provide a simple SD card but its fine that there was not one.
