Great All-in-One Wireless Printer That Is User Friendly
I received a free wireless laser printer from Sago Focus Group in exchange for an honest online review. In the past, I have received various product samples to review before -- such as hair and skincare products -- but this is the first time I was sent an actual printer, which was admittedly pretty amazing. (Thanks so much to Canon and Sago!) The first thing I noticed was that the imageCLASS laser printer was a good size (think typical office-style printer), but not at all heavy for me to carry upon assembling. And by assembling, I mean taking it out of the box, removing all the tape on the printer, plugging it in, and pressing the button to turn it on. The physical setup was so easy, I mistakenly thought I might be missing a manual with extra instructions. Once turned on, the printer guided me through the software part of the setup, which was slightly trickier but still fairly easy. I had the option of using a QR code and/or visiting a website to link the printer wirelessly to my laptop and mobile phone. From the software installation to my being able to print a test document, it took maybe ten minutes, and it only took that long because I scrolled through the menu on the printer's display screen in fascination to see all my options. I have used laser printers before, but never one quite like this one. The ease of printing from my phone once I downloaded the Canon app blew my mind. I have never been able to print a document from my phone on either an office or home printer before and was giddy at the ability to do so with the Canon.
The imageCLASS MF287dw is an all-in-one printer, which means you have the ability to print, scan, fax, and copy. I don't currently have a need to fax but appreciate the fact that the option is there for whenever I need it in the future. The quality of the print was great when printing from both my laptop and phone. I made a copy of my passport that came out pretty well except for my face being a little dark. Once I adjusted the setting to be lighter, the copy came out perfectly. Overall, I am quite pleased with this printer. It prints extremely quickly and has several print layout options that can easily be accessed with a few clicks (such as a brochure-type layout). The only thing that is lacking is the ability to print in color. If it had that capability, I would definitely be giving it five stars as opposed to four. Nice job, Canon!

User-friendly
I received a free sample of the Canon image class MF286dw. Overall, this printer is a very easy set up and I have ran into no problems with printing or scanning.
I am a Professor and I rely a lot upon being able to print and scan documents to do my job. The printer is very fast and intuitive with set up and connecting tirelessly so all of my devices can access it.
Previously, I had the Canon Imageclass MF644Cdw and I constantly had to remove and reconnect to my devices. This Canon is superior to my old Canon.
I would recommend this printer to anyone needing black and white copies and especially for the ease of set up and printing numerous jobs.

Super fast!
I received this printed for free in exchange for a review. I love the printer. The fact that it is wireless is amazing. It is super fast in connection and printing. And it has multiple features which I like. It's a fantastic printer that I think goes for only $200 online. A total steal for that price. Love this printer. Would recommend it to anyone for the home or office.

Nice and neat laser printer
Taking into account that I received this printer as a free sample to use, I was pleasantly surprised by the way it printed and the efficiency and quickness of a laser printer. I would say the one drawback of this printer was the set up process. I have had at least a handful of wireless printers. In my home over the last couple of decades, and this was the hardest one to set up. I think they’re all be a quick user guy quick setup guide that is either put in as a hardcopy in the instructions or some type of website QR code that they can use that would make things more efficient. I just had to kinda click my way through things and just learn as I go. outside of that, I would rate this 4/5 stars.

Efficient multi-function machine; Great wireless functionality.
I recently received a free Canon imageClass MF287dw all-in-one, wireless duplex laser printer in exchange for an honest review. The following observations are a result of about 2 weeks of use
Overall, it gets the job done efficiently in a small office/home setting. Packaging was very good as all components were taped securely and there was plenty of styrofoam to protect the machine during shipment. There was no assembly required. Well done Canon!
It was a little confusing at first to set up as I struggled to get anywhere with the QR code that came up on the printer’s control screen. I then went to the Canon website on my desktop for some direction and then back to the set up brochure. I used that QR code and then went back a few steps on the printer’s control screen to get the WiFi connected. Once the WiFi was successfully connected, it was a breeze to use!
I have since printed wirelessly from my desktop and smart phone. The process is very simple from both. The print copies have been the quality of a much larger, more expensive machine. Very clear and bold print. Speed of printing is very fast! I have used 2-sided printing a lot during this trial and have been 100% satisfied with that function. This is my overall favorite function of this machine!
Scanning and copying are simple and this machine does just what it should. I did not try the fax as I did not have the need for that function. There is also an envelope feed that sits on the main tray feed at the top of the machine. I was really excited about this extra.
I did look up the manual for this machine. I prefer to have one in hand, especially while getting familiar with a new office machine. I did find it on the Canon website, on the same page as this machine, under product support. I did not print it as it was 710 pages long. But I did save it to my desktop. The functions in the manual are quite extensive.
Again, overall I am very pleased with this machine. If the setup would have been seamless, I would have given it 5 stars. Functionality is top notch! I definitely recommend downloading the manual in order to get the most out of this machine.

Great all-in-one home office machine.
I was offered a review unit of this printer and it was great timing as my old monochrome Brother printer recently died. I print a lot of labels for my eBay business and also print reading material to get away from the screens before bed. So far this has handled everything like a champ.
I was able quickly setup everything on the printer's LCD touch screen instead of having to mess around with downloading a bunch of different drivers and apps on my PC. My phone and iPad connected to the printer and I was able to start printing right away.
The LCD touch screen is awesome since most other printers I've shopped for did not offer one at this price point.
This printer is somewhat big but I was able to replace my old scanner with this so it's actually been a space saver. The scanner worked great on some insurance forms I needed to copy. It scanned a lot faster than my old dedicated scanner and was very quiet.
I've never owned a Canon printer before but so far very impressed with the print quality, ease of setup and amount of features. Only time will tell how long this will last but the printer definitely doesn't feel like a cheap printer.

Mixed bag, but worth the desk space with the features
[I received this all-in-one printer in exchange for my honest review.]
Setup: Some aspects were easy, others more complicated. Directions are sparse & leave some details out, but the initial connection to my home wifi network was the easiest I've encountered. Otherwise, if you're not well-aquainted with technology & networking, you likely will need to seek setup help online for the more detailed aspects.
Data speed: The first two times I sent a page to print the printer took forever (96 seconds for the 2nd time), BUT ever since then the printer has received documents lightning fast! I'm assuming there was a hitch in my network the first day rather than the printer being slow.
Printer: Crisp & clean. No qualms apart from being monochrome.
Scanner: Loud. Not the best quality when scanning B&W. I've scanned regular pages & "shiny" ones. The regular came out acceptable with clean white for the background, but not neat. The "shiny" came out like a bad fax. On the flip side, when I selected color scan, the shiny came out beautifully, but the default (& perhaps only) option was to save as a jpeg file for this.
Copier: Also loud. Quality of the copies were nice & clean.
Faxing: I have not set up & used this feature.
I've had one problem to-date. Scans were going easily to my primary laptop via wifi for days, then yesterday the device told me I had to connect the computer to proceed with a scan. I was in a hurry to get out the door, so I used my old flatbed scanner instead. It was a bad compromise as my flatbed creates a yellow-gray background instead of white.
