satisfied with this unit
I had a canon printer previously; this one seems to be the same in terms of quality. It uses different size ink cartridges though. The speed of printing is the same.

Annoying issues with ink
Not only did I make the mistake of purchasing this printer, I bought TWO of them!! There are small frustrations but the HUGE frustration is with the ink. Even if you are printing documents in black, when one of the color cartridges registers as empty, you cannot print! Add the coronavirus to the situation and running to the store for ink is not an option. Buying online is going to take at least 2 days depending on where I purchase it. I would blame myself if I allowed myself to run out of black ink, but to run out of cyan and not be able to print black is ridiculous.

MB 2720 Don't Buy This Series
I have been a canon user for over 20 years. My 922 was a workhorse but Canon discontinued it so I bought a MB 2720. My first MB 2720 machine was garbage, poor print quality, had to clean the print heads at least once a day or it would not print a line, got another one and this one is garbage too. Ink is expensive and it still needs the heads cleaned daily wasting more ink and paper. Avoid this machine if you value your sanity.

MB2120, the little brother to MB2720 -- 2 great machines.
I've owned an MB2720 for years, a great machine. I needed a smaller machine for a second location and got the MB2120. Canon has done a seamless job integrating access for the two machines on your Windows machines. As I expected, the MB2120 is also a great machine. I especially appreciate the low cost of operation with both Canon & 3rd party inks. Machine very very rarely mis-feeds paper or jams. The only part of setup that's a bit unclear is initial paper tray adjustment. The paper tray will seem too short for letter/legal paper and it is!. You have to make a 1 time adjustment to elongate the tray, after that just add paper when necessary.

Canon has lost a long time customer
Have owned several older Canon models and loved them all. This printer will be my last Canon. Paper tray isn't visible and is a piece of junk. Getting continuing error messages I haven't been able to resolve. Ink cartridges are too expensive and don't last long. My very last Canon printer.

Worst printer I've ever owned.
Worst printer I have ever owned. The colors bleed, print quality is atrocious, ink doesn't last long and the ink costs an arm and a leg. Do yourself a favor and buy something else. This printer is the hallmark of bad quality.

Buy something else
Why on earth would anyone want a scanner that scans one side only? Seriously. This is what I thought - I have a 70 page document so let me scan it through once, flip it over, start again, scan on the back sides, merge the two PDF files and then sort the pages numerically. Yeah. GREAT idea. Why did I buy it? Because the Canon representative assured me that this machine scanned both sides. Canon - train your people. Or provide them with accurate spec sheets. You're not building rockets here - it's not that hard to make sure your people know what they are talking about.

Difficult to setup
The print quality so far is very good. The colors come out nicely. I have not used it many times so I do not know how long the cartridges will last. I have only had the printer for a week so I do not know yet what my favorite feature is. I have not tried scanning or faxing.
Product assembly was difficult. The printer itself went ok. Setting it up on my PC did not go smoothly. I kept getting an error message that it was not set up and I would try it again and the same error. I finally stopped. I then looked for the printer on my PC and it was showing up and I was able to print. Not sure what the issue was but it was frustrating and confusing.
Set up needs to be improved, there are too many steps and at one point it has you doing something on the printer itself and your PC at the same time.
Due to the set up issue I would not recommend this product to a family member or friend. So far the print quality is good.
Overall I think the print quality is nice. The black ink cartridge is larger than the colors so I hope that means it will print longer. I have not priced out replacement ink.
I received this product for free and was asked to review. I did not research printers prior to using this model.

Canon does it again with another great product!
The Canon Maxify MB2120 is a great printer manufactured by a great company that has established itself as a reputable company and household name. The initial out-of-the-box setup instructions were clear and easy to follow. I had little issues connecting my computer wirelessly through my home network to the printer. The CanonPrint App that is available on Android and IOS is a perk because I can finally print an image or document from my phone instead of having to power up my computer. This is a great time-saver for my busy lifestyle.
The Canon Maxify MB2120 is sturdily built and quiet when in operation. My favorite features are the wireless accessibility and 2-sided printing option. It’s a great way to reduce the amount of paper used when certain projects don’t require individual pages. The printed pages are clear, sharp, and exceeds my expectations on this affordable business tool.
The printer is quite large in comparison to my past inkjet printer purchases but that is to be expected for being a such a workhorse. The only CON I have found thus far is that it appears that the printer must be turned on to work wirelessly. There may be an option for the printer to remain in a power-saving ON position but I have not had the opportunity yet to research this option. When I have some extra free time, I will be exploring any features that I may have missed.
In Conclusion, this printer has by far exceeded that of my previously owned inkjet printers and I will surely be recommending this great device to my friends and family who may be in the market to purchase or upgrade their existing printer. I am grateful for this opportunity to provide this review in exchange for receiving this printer for free.

Great Printer at a Great Value!
I received this printer in exchange for my fair and honest opinion. Overall I think this is a great printer and a really good value so I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.
Things I Like:
In comparison to previous printers I've owned, it does print pretty fast, even when it's the first page. The setup was super easy, I was able to do it within about 10 minutes with a sleeping baby strapped to me. Also, connection to my MAC was very simple and the AirPrint feature worked on the first try (I've had trouble with this with past printers). The printer has an energy saving mode that shuts it off after inactivity and I was pleasantly surprised that I could print from my laptop on the couch and the printer would automatically turn itself on to initiate the print job. I made a bunch of copies and felt the like scan/print was just as fast and clear as the huge commercial printer we have at work.
Opportunities for improvement:
It would be nice if it was a touch screen, the arrow pad made entering my WiFi password a real pain. Also, it would be nice to have a tray for photo paper rather than pulling out the paper and adjusting the tray size. Takes up a lot of real estate but then most multi function printers do.

Solid Product
The Canon Printer - MAXIFY MB2120 is a pretty solid piece of home or small business equipment to help with daily printing and scanning needs. I received a free sample of the product in exchange for my honest review.
Packaging: The printer was shipped to my home from factory. Packaging for this printer is exactly what you’d expect from a quality company like cannon. The printer was snug and arrived without any cuts, dings or scratches.
Assembly: The printer was extremely convenient to assemble. With just a few pieces to actually assemble, the printer came nearly intact and ready to plug in. The most work I had to do at once was insert four ink cartridges. The instructions were easy to comprehend and offered detailed images to help guide in removing parts designed to keep internals safe during shipping and assembling what few parts need to be assembled. Startup takes only a few minutes the first time as the printer calibrates itself and readies itself for work. I used this time to install drivers via the set up CD.
Product Quality: Overall product quality is great. This printer/scanner/fax machine is sturdy and unlike other home printers I’ve had in the past, which were flimsy and delicate. The keypad and home screen are a pleasure to read because Canon used large print font of letters and numbers to allow for an easier overall experience when selecting jobs, typing fax numbers, etc., Installing the ink cartridges was a breeze and the paper tray holds an adequate amount of paper for a home office or small business. The printer can be set up over a wireless connection or with a USB. The wireless option is fantastic because I’ve been able to print from my PC, laptop and Ipad without the headache of connecting each device via USB. It still sounds like a printer but nowhere near as loud as printers of old.
The only thing I’d change isn’t so much a quality issue but one of convenience. My printer did not come with a usb chord (it did come with a phone line for fax.) I love the wifi option but sometimes it is nice to just hook it up and go the old hard line route.
I’ve been using this printer for a week now and have used it to print out all of my syllabi for my classes and a few homework assignments and emails. I would recommend this product to college students, home and home office and small businesses. It’s easy to assemble (almost everything is already assembled!) It’s easy to hook up via wifi and compatible with laptops, PCs, tablets and even cell phones! Print quality is great. The machine itself is sturdy. Overall the MAXIFY MB2120 model is a solid product that I would recommend to my friends and family. It has a strong first week with me and I look forward to many more printing and scanning jobs.

Awesome printer!
I received a free Cannon Maxify MB120 printer to test and write a review. I was shocked how easy it was to install this printer. I always hired someone to install my computer software and accessories so I was reluctant to install it myself. This printer came with detailed step by step directions which took the stress out of the installation process. The installation was very simple and after using this printer for almost a month now I am now a loyal Cannon customer and I would highly recommend this product.

Large and Noisy
I received a FREE SAMPLE, Canon MAXIFY MG2120 Printer, in exchange for my review. My review is as follows:
I am not at all happy with this printer for use in my home office. It is larger than other all-in-one printers I have used in the past and currently use. It is TOO NOISY, making loud annoying sounds when starting up, as well as while printing. It causes much distraction while trying to work.
Also, I found the set up to be a bit difficult; particularly how to adjust and put in place the paper tray. The instruction sheet was very unclear.
On a positive note, I was able to print, single and double-sided, and the first print does finish rather quickly, as the box indicates.
Thank you for allowing me to experience this printer, first hand. I have purchased and used Canon printers in the past that I have loved, but this one does not match the match the qualities of those previously owned, nor the qualities I seek in a printer today.

Great Features!
I received a free sample of a Canon Printer, MAXIFY MB2120 in exchange for writing a review.
The printer was very easy to set up. There was no need to install software because everything was done on-line, as well as, detailed instruction on the printer itself. This took me approximately 30 minutes from the time I opened the box and plugged the printer in.
Once the printer installation was finished and it recognized my modem for operation, I printed my first document. It was very quick and efficient. I continued to print different documents using different ink colors.
The copy component works well. I was really interested in the scanner because for my business I need to scan information and documents to sent to clients. I found this component very easy to use.
I have not used the Fax machine because I always scan documents rather than Fax.
The biggest complaint about the Printer itself is the cassette that hold the paper. I have to take the entire cassette out in order to close my cabinet door. I do not like to see all my devices, so I have a built in cabinet, but this printer does not allow me to. Had the cassette drive been in the opposite direction I might have been able to.
Overall, I would highly recommend this printer for multi-functional small business purposes.

Satisfactory Printer
I received a free Canon Printer: MAXIFY MB2120 . The printer is an all in one; scanner, copier and fax. The installment directions took a little time; it took me a couple of attempts at set up to get it working properly.
The paper tray seems a little cheap, hard to make adjustments with the tray. Placing the four ink cartridges in the ink slots was hard. I have small hands and it was very difficult. I use printers a lot and go through a lot of ink, not looking forward to changing ink cartridges on going.
The printing process it takes time for the printer to actually print. Seems like it takes a few minutes to calibrate and then print, also noisy. I’m used to a much quieter printer.
It does print nice clean copies. Happy with the print quality. Looked on line the cartridges seem a little pricey. The fax and scan work great. Satisfactory printer for home use.

Great for my Home Office!
I`ve really enjoyed using my new MAXIFY MB2120. I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review. I should also say that I prefer using laser printers but this Canon product really did the jobs I needed for my established home office from which I telecommute daily! The ink was easy to install as was overall set up off product. Didn`t open a manual ONCE! This is usually how I like to test products and their ease of use. The Canon Maxify MB2120 passed with flying colors! I was very pleased with the multi page high speed scanning ability. Very accurate and it even asked if there were additional pages to be scanned just in case any were left out or off of the tray intitially. Many of my previous products did not do this and always caused me to have to re-scan an entire document causing more work. I love the wifi option which is standard on most printers today. Great to be able to print from any device in the house including my smartphones and tablets! Very easy to set up as well. Print speed was not as fast as laser of course but did not slow my productivity. I still have some frustration with ALL injets with regards to INK cartridge depletion. They run out fast, AND if any one color runs out you can`t continue to print with the other colors even if only in B&W until that cartrigde is replaced. I get that its all about the `cartridges` but I would love to see just a little more longevity with the cartriges for more consumer value. I would recommend this product to a friend. I would only say to be sure to have plenty of ink replacement on hand if you plan on doing heavy printing. I tend to use mine more for color project and save my B&W`s for the LASER which a toner that lasts 10-12 months. Let me be very clear that the ink issue is not a CANON issue. It is a Inkjet Printer issue. You will run into this with practically any model you choose. Overall a definite A

Canon lies!
Canon says, "You can keep printing even after a color cartridge runs out.". LIE! Not even in greyscale.
Canon says to clear a paper jam, "Slide the rear cover to the left then open it." LIE! Unless "slide" means stretch the part 1mm. In any case, you're not going to open it without breaking it, or harming yourself.
So, to summarize-
Run out of magenta ink? Run to the store.
Get a paper jam? Throw out the printer. At least you won't have to wait for it to grind for 5 minutes while it "Prepares to print" anymore!

Nice Quality
Overall the printer was a little bulky for my home office. Set up was easy. I would have preferred that it had a touchscreen instead of buttons/arrows. I was also unhappy with the letter size tray. It stuck out from the face of the printer which made it need more desk space than the actual footprint of the unit. Printing quality was great. Ink refills easy to install. I trying the scanning and fax features which both worked perfectly. I should mention that I received a free samples of this printer to review.

Nice printer/scanner
I received a Canon Maxify MB2120 to review, and I find it to be a pretty capable printer. I am impressed with the clear, smudge-free print, and on any weight paper, my documents look good. I have used it like I'd regularly use a home printer and have yet to have any sort of jam or malfunction. It feeds smoothly from the tray. I've used letter and legal sized paper. Additionally, I have scanned in items via the top feed without issue. Copying is effortless with the black copy or color copy buttons. One peculiarity is that the printer turns itself completely off when the attached PC goes into sleep mode, so I frequently forget to turn it on when I begin to use the computer. Then when I need to print, it goes through its 1 minute startup process before it will print. I need to look into it a bit and see if there is something I can set to make it wake up with the computer. Waiting 1 minute or so is not a huge deal, but I'd prefer to hear my print start immediately when I hit that button. Overall it seems to be a good printer. It is huge, though so definitely not for space saving. I have not changed the ink or needed to yet, so I cannot comment on that process or cost.

Horrible printer
I have been a faithful Canon customer for many years. After the print head of my PIXMA MX 892 died, I bought the MAXIFY MB 2120 on the recommendation of the customer representative. Unfortunately, this printer is the worst I've had. I constantly have to clean the head, even when using Canon cartridges! In addition, you can only change cartridges once you run out of ink. I strongly recommend NOT buying this printer. You will be dissapointed.

I can't even make lemonade!
I owned the previous model (Maxify 2020 and had very few issues with it. It worked well for my wife as she printed all materials for her Kindergarten class for several years. I didn't hesitate to buy the next generation. The controls and features looked almost identical and since I had several spare ink cartridges on hand it seamed like a logical choice.
The new printer is terrible. I went through two sets of ink cartridges, thinking the ones I had on hand may have been defective. I went through every cleaning cycle there was several times with no success. I am just tired of tinkering with it. So disappointed with the new version. Have to buy another machine as wife needs a functioning printer NOW. Guess I just got a lemon.

Great value!
I received a free Canon MB2120 in exchange for an honest review. I really couldn't find anything I disliked about the printer - setup was easy. I currently have another printer that is constantly a source of frustration because it will not stay connected to the wifi network. This Canon is always there when I need it! Copies are sharp and the scan and fax functions are easy to learn and use. Replacement ink cartridge costs are right in line with other brands. I think this printer would be perfect for the normal volume, home office use.

Colors not the bright
The connection to print and print time is very good. It responds right away when selecting print from the computer.
I have not used it long enough to have a favorite feature. I do work with people who need faxes so I am interested in using that feature.
The product assembly was difficult. I found the directions confusing. It asked you to start doing things on the PC before internet connection was established on the printer. I got an error message on my PC that said it wasn’t loaded. But, when I checked the connection later it was there. Not sure what happened but that was frustrating and confusing.
The colors are not that vibrant. I do like that there is a larger black ink. I have not priced out ink yet and I’ve only had the printer a week so I’m not sure how long the ink will last.
I think the set up directions could be improved and less confusing.
Due to the colors and confusing set up directions I would not recommend this product.
I received this product for free and was asked to review. I did not research printers prior to using this model.

Easy Set Up and Crisp Prints
I received this printer for free in exchange for my honest review. After using the printer for several weeks in my home office, I was very impressed with its print quality. I mainly used it to print documents, and it provided a crisp and clear print that was on par with professional printers. Graphics printed cleanly and the color was very good. I had no hesitation using the documents produced on this printer in client meetings, because they looked great! It`s not an ink hog either. I feel like it uses the same amount of ink as any other inkjet printer.
Setting it up was fairly easy, and took less than 30 minutes to get it connected to my network, installed on my computer, and calibrated. I love the wireless printing feature, however, the delay between hitting send and the first print being produced seems a bit longer than normal. When it does print, it is pretty speedy, and isn`t overly noisy, which is a bonus. The menu screen on the printer is easy to use. I did struggle getting it to scan wirelessly to my computer. It`s likely the struggle was a user error, but as someone who has used this feature on many different printers, I didn`t find it overly intuitive.
Overall, this is a great printer and one of the best home office inkjets I`ve used.

Perfect for small office
I received the Canon Maxify MB 2120 for free sample to share my honest opinion about usage and installation of the equipment. I have tested it for about ten day period and I can say that I definitely love Canon MB2120 for its functionality. There is no need for separate equipment: fax, printer, copy and scanner, now I have all in one. Additionally Canon MG 2120 is wireless and Wi-Fi gives me options to connect all my mobile equipment to it. It also has USB connection and can scan to cloud and to USB. The paper tray can load up to 250 sheet, 50 ADF and can print automatically two sides (duplex). The tray has different settings: A4, B5, A5, label, envelope. I can not dream about a better tool in my office then this one. Cannon Maxify MB 2120 dimensions 18 L x 15 W x 10,4H in and 47 L x 38 W x 26H cm, allows you to place this printer in any home office and can save a lot of extra space for any other equipment in the big office. It is also not very heavy, it weights only 15 kg, 33 lbs.
The design of the device is very nice and looks professional. It has a very convenient button layout- from top. I do not have to bend over and search for buttons. The screen size 55x55 mm is too small. I would change it for touchpad screen, it just begs for it to be bigger in size. On the screen few icons are displayed: Copy, Fax, Scan, Custom Profile, to simplify its usage. Entire installation of equipment was quick and simple. For those that are not tech savvy you just need to follow steps on the instruction or on the screen. Installation of Canon application on my iPhone went smoothly and very quickly, on my computer without any hassle. Entire integration of Cannon Maxify MB 2120 with mobile equipment is so fast and simple it makes my office work more efficient, effective.
Printing documents is fast but you need to add extra time for communication between wireless devices and the printer. After initial installation of cartilages it was printing very nice and sharp letters on each document but after two days of not printing any document the first document came out not as sharp. When I printed on the copy paper, size A4 picture of my daughter from the beach her skin color came out little bit darker then she is. Swimsuit strips are not white and neon yellow and pick dots came out just yellow. So density and saturation of colors is not too satisfying. The background of the picture came out with bigger distortions that are visible also in the picture. Just for my personal usage I would not have any complains, but if someone plans to use it as professional business I would think about it. Time of print very from document to document. To print colorful picture on copy paper took almost one minute. The printer makes a lot of noises before it starts printing colorful picture and I started counting time from communication between the iPhone and the printer not just printing of the picture by itself after data was sent. It starts printing faster after the signal hits the printer, just as fast as advertised on the box 6 sec. The communication between my equipment (iPhone in that case) and the printer takes additional time. I want to mention that I have high speed internet so it is definitely not a problem of my internet connection.
Generally Canon Maxify MB 2120 meets my expectations regarding its functionality, efficiency, speed of print, Wi-Fi accessibility, diversity of functions and quality of print.
Only a few things I would improve: the old fashion screen for touch pad to make usage more convenient and efficient. Additionally I would try to work on communication between printer and mobile. Also my biggest concern will be only ink. I do not know how that equipment will work after one more month of not being in usage. The ink may dry out and the quality my drop off but that is only my concern. So far I am very satisfy I definitely would recommend it for small office usage.

Uses up colored ink, even if you only print in blk
I like this printer, but it goes through colored ink pretty fast, even if you always print in black only. Ink is expensive. Shouldn't have to keep buying colored ink if you only print in black.

I received a free sample of this printer to review.
The product performs well overall and no issues with the quality of the printing. I printed some photos and it did those really well. I could not tell much difference in the ones printed from it and ones printed from a photo service.
I really like the feature of linking to my phone and the girlfriends Ipad. It makes it convenient to print things from your mobile device.
This product was fairly easy to assemble and setup. Initial linking with my computer was a breeze.
I do not really have anything as of yet that I would like to see improved. The product performs very well overall.
I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family.

Great features and great quality
I recieved this printer for free in order to wrtie a review on it and I can say I am very pleased. The print quality is perfect, colors are vibrant and there is no fading at all. Setup was very easy and only took about 15 minutes, including the time it took to install drivers on my computer. The scanner is also very easy to use and has a great feature of being able to wirelessly save your scans to your computer or even send them as an email directly from the printer. My only issue is that the wireless connectivity is a tad bit confusing. It was easy to connect my computers to the printer but for some reason I cannot get the wireless saving or email fucntions to work, although I have not really looked into too deepy because I was able to just plug in a flash drive and save directly to that. Overall this printer is of great quality and although I got it for free I would definitely consider buying it if I was in the market for a printer because for the price you get many features that other printers do not have.

High Quality, Fast, No Maintainance
I received a free Canon MAXIFY MB2120 Printer in exchange for a review. I didn't know it at the time but, this is basically the same Canon printer I purchased for my business, a restaurant, to print daily menu special cards and table placements. I also use it for accounting purposes, printing checks for payroll and distributors and advertising. Its a great printer. I don't do anything to it except change the ink and fill it with paper. I use it every single day and it runs 65 pound card stock just like 20 pound copy paper. I've never had a problem at all and I really don't take that great of care of it. The WiFi works great. It's two rooms away from my office, picks up the signal and prints everytime. Always clean, clear, crisp lines that print fast either full color or black and white. I don't use the scanner much, but when I do it works perfectly. Invoice copies with color printing are nearly impossible to tell apart from the originals. It prints picture incredibly exact, in fact, the pictures are printed so good the paper I use doesn't do the printing quality justice. If I bought quality "photo paper" I'd be better off, but, I don't need photo paper for the business. All in all, I like it a lot and am very happy with both printers. Super easy to load ink, fast, no maintenance and high quality. That's everything I need. Thank you Canon!

Good printer
I really like my Canon printer- Maxify MB2120! It was easy enough to set up, althought my son set mine up. So it is easy enough for a high school age kid to do it. He said that the instructions were too complicated and need to be scaled back. Plus, if a person actually had difficulty in setting up the machine, there is a website that will walk you through the process. The machine prints and faxes easily and quietly. The only problem I see with the machine is that it tends to be a bit slow, but once it gets going, it really prints out some nice stuff. The overall size of this machine is a bit large for my taste and I think the manufacturer should scale it down a bit, and try to keep it as compact as possible. Overall, I think for the money, this is a great printer/copier/fax machine and would be good for anI y household/home office/school setting.
I received this item at no charge in exchange for my honest review

My new favorite thing
The person who wrote this review received a free sample for providing an open and honest review of the product.
Pretty awesome sample, to say the least! I am in love with this printer.
I have worked from home for over a decade now, and a good printer/scanner is absolutely necessary. Or at least I thought that before I got this printer, obviously I was wrong because I have never owned a good printer until now. I had it set up and ready to print within 10 minutes of it being delivered-so easy my grandma could have done it. Even better? The PRINT app. I didn`t even know it was possible to get my devices to communicate with a printer without spending a ton of time configuring each one, with plenty of trial and error and frustration. It scans and prints beautifully, and FAST!
Amazingly quiet as well, my cat likes to snooze next to it and doesn't get jump out of her skin and destroy everything when it starts up. Big plus. I've been enjoying the heck out of my new printer, it's becoming the hardest working thing in my home office because it's making my work far less hard.

Love It!
We were in need of a new copy/fax/scanner for our small business. I had seen this one on the Canon web site previously but delayed in purchasing. I recently went back onto the Canon site and saw this Maxify again. This time I purchased. I felt the set up was fairly easy - I started using immediately and fell in love! Scanning is quick and easy as well as printing - don't use the fax since I don't have a home phone but overall this machine is fantastic!

Great All-in-One!!
I received this printer for free to review and I think it`s a great color inkjet All in One! When I received shipment of it, I was surprised at how large the box was but once I got it all set up, I was impressed by how solid of a machine it was. It was a breeze to set up and I had no problems getting it up and running, including the wireless. It holds a lot of paper, so I`m not constantly filling the paper tray and the colors are vibrant and bold. It also prints relatively fast, once it`s warmed up and this new printer will definitely be added to my office.

Good Printer
Bought this printer about a month ago to replace a Kodak printer I had, the hinge broke on the access door, making it unusable.
Setting up the WiFi was not easy on the 2120. The quality of photo prints is OK but not the best, on a 8X10 photo, faint lines appear on the orange and red areas. The ink for this printer seems a bit pricey. This is my reason for the 4 star rating.
If you're looking for a good all in one printer this will do the job. Scans great, print is very sharp.

Coupon Users - Meet your new printer!
I received a Canon MAXIFY MB2120 for free to test & review. What I loved most about the product was that it doesn't use much ink to print. I have printed many, many, many coupons, a small brochure, several two page resumes, a lot of single page letters and it barely looks like any ink was used. This is very impressive to me because I figured that I would be purchasing a lot of ink, this is usually a turn off to owning an at home printer. This product works very well, I am able to walk away and print if I am printing multiple pages. It doesn't jam like I have experienced in other desk top printers. It was very easy to assemble and connect for use. I would recommend this printer/fax/copier to anyone looking for an at home printer. It would be a great assets to coupon users!

Great Print Quality
My first impression of this printer was that it is a bit on the large size. I received this printer free for giving an open and honest review of it. This printer was very easy to set up. You are given to choice to set it up wirelessly or by USB. The cable is not included. I chose wirelessly and followed the instructions that were very clear and easy to follow and had no problems whatsoever in establishing a connection. This printer produces beautiful pictures and crisp type. I would like this printer to be a little faster and quieter but the quality of the print outweighs the negative. I would recommend this printer to a family member or friend.

It prints pages fast!
I received a free sample in exchange for my opinion which is completely my own and authentic. I`d like to start off with the positives. Wireless set up was a breeze; you also have the option to set up via USB. The printer is fast! I was very pleased with the time it took for my device to connect and print wirelessly. I also have the USB cord set up in my home office, attached to my laptop. The print quality is crisp. The faxing capabilities are simply a push of a button to set up. The scanning function offers options you would typically expect, such as scanning to USB, PC, e-mail, folder, and flash drive. My favorite feature is the records of use. It really tells me how I am using the printer and allows me to maximize the use of the printer and supplies to my needs.
As far as the negatives go; I think the printer is rather bulky, and I think it is shaped and curved strange. I was frustrated with the printer tray. It is not easy to set up and it sticks out from the printer itself which I do not like. I wish it was flush with the printer itself. It also seems like it uses quite a bit of ink. I have used the printer enough to get to know it (two weeks), but based on the current ink levels, I don`t feel they are reflective of use.
The bottom line here is, this is a good printer if you want something that feeds and disperses your printed pages quickly. The print quality is not grainy, so it is good for business reports and other business related documentation. If you are not good with the mechanics of printer set up, you may become frustrated with the printer tray. The technical aspect of set up such as initial install and wireless configuration is a breeze. Over time, it may become rather expensive due to frequent ink purchases in the future.

Solid, full-featured
This is a very good, versatile printer which should serve my needs for many years (my Pixma is over 7 yrs old and still going strong). My biggest beef (causing the loss of a star) is documentation. The small screen has a huge array of options, but only shows six at a time. Nobody told me there were more. The printer kept turning itself off, and I didn't know how to make it stop. The author of another comment had the same problem. It took a call to Canon to resolve the problem and show me the full menu. A short addition to the setup directions would help a lot.
I also don't like the one-shot ink insertion. I am very clumsy, and those cartridges are hard for me to get straight. Make a mistake, or accidentally insert the wrong color, and you have just wasted the cost of the cartridge. This "feature" was why I did not buy another brand, and now Canon is doing it.

Good printer with standard features for home use
I was pleased to receive this printer in exchange for my honest, unbiased review. All opinions are my own. First of all, the printer is rather large, maybe best suited for a home-office. I do a lot of printing, so I’ve got the space, but it does take up some room.
I found the installation process to be somewhat difficult. The WiFi was the trickiest part. I had a lot of trouble getting the printer and the computer to communicate. I tried connecting direct first, and that did seem to help somewhat, but it didn’t get me going wirelessly. I ended up calling tech support for assistance. I also had some trouble setting up the fax. In the end, all was resolved and everything got up and running. The diagnostic tool is a bit hard to locate when you do have a problem. I’d love to see that easier to access.
On a positive note, the quality of the print seems very good. I think it will be great for my general business use, documents, etc. The first time printing it seems a little slow when you say print/send. There’s a lull of 10 secs or so for the printer to initiate. After the first print, it seemed to get faster. The actual printing itself is very fast. I also like the idea of the Canon app for my mobile phone. It seems it will make it easy to print from anywhere. Colors are crisp and true. The scan feature is very easy to use. I was working with an older photograph, and the colors and even the texture came through very nicely. Scanning was also quick.
I’ve had another brand in the past, which had a touchscreen on the printer. That made things easier to use and navigate. With this model, there are a few more steps to get things done. For example, setting up a speed dial, you can’t just hit a letter. You have to tap three times to get to the “C.” Maybe there is a work-around, but I haven’t found it yet.
All in all a good printer with all the features you’d expect at this price point. I like Canon in general as a company, so I’d stand behind the printer as I get used to using it and exploring more of its features.

A really great printer!
The Canon MAXIFY MB2120 is an excellent printer. It's copies are quick and clean. The scan and fax functions work very well also. We initially had a little trouble getting it set up, the instructions are not as clear as we might have hoped. There was no difficulty downloading the drivers to the Windows PC, although it was a little difficult on the MacBook. The wireless function is awesome, and the response is immediate. The one thing that I do not like about this printer is that it has an auto shut off, so if I am printing remotely I need to make sure to go in and turn the printer on first. I am thinking however that there is probably a way to disable this I just have not found it yet.
I am very pleased with this printer it is the first Canon I have ever had. I like how fast it prints and how nice and clean the copies come out. I believe that this printer is well worth the advertised price for it, and would not hesitate to purchase it for our home office
I received this printer free in exchange for my fair and honest review.

Canon Maxify MB2120 test and review
I received a free Canon MB2120 to use & test and give feedback on. Overall I was impressed by the printer. The initial setup was very easy and straight forward. Also the user interface on the printer was easy to navigate as well. The quality of printed data from text documents to pictures was very good. I especially liked the option to send files from your phone or from another network and have them printed remotely. I had never seen this option in other printers that I have used. That option would be very useful for people that travel for work. I appreciate the opportunity to test and review this printer. I didn't really see any downsides to it. I was impressed with it all around.

Overall, I have to say that this is one of the best printers I have used. While it is a bit bigger than my previous printer, it is a huge improvement. I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review, but that would not stop me from buying another if the need came up.
The setup was quick and easy and I had things going much quicker than I expected. The overall versatility is lightyears above my previous printer as being able to scan and e-mail has saved me a lot of time and allowed me to consolidate papers that I have been saving at home.
I would highly recommend this printer!

Fast and Efficient*******
In my line of work I am constantly working on hard copies that have very tight deadlines... legal briefs (ugggh). So when I received the Maxify MG2120 as a free sample I was hesitant because I can`t afford to have a printer that would not do the load of work I expect it to do especially working at 4am with a 8am deadline. I took the chance because I was unhappy with my old computer`s constant binge ink consumption and lagging print time. Let me say that I was impressed with the care in packing and ease in setting up. When I saw the large ink cartridges... I sighed with relief. Finally, someone has understood us. Instructions were very well laid out so I didn`t struggle to get the wifi to connect to computer and printer. The ink comes out very well so there is no need to ink adjust. I love the speed my documents come out. Scanning was a breeze. Seriously, I was more than happy with the Maxify. Thank you THank you Thank you .....I`m so glad I changed printers.

Overall, I liked this printer. I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review. The printer worked well and acuratly as well as the copy function and scanner. Set-up was straight forward and pretty simple.
The only area is that it seems to being doing more than just printing when you turn it on. It has to calibrate in order to start printing the first time. Especially if you add more paper or change a cartridge.

Great for Busy Moms and Small businesses
The Canon Maxify MB2120 is a great all in one printer! I am a busy mom of 10 yo twins that needs a lot of, pictures, labels, graphs etc. This printer gave us very precise lines and photos. Setup was fairly easy. I love the fact that I did not have to tinker with it as much to setup the WIFI. It was almost instantaneous. Great for those of us who aren't that tech savvy. I also love the color touch screen that makes it very easy to choose what you want to do. I was a previous Canon user, and that particular printer was a little noisy, but this printer is a lot less noisy. I like that when I have to print something with a sleeping husband in the room. There are lot of other features that I am very pleased with, i.e the feature to print from your cell phone!! It eliminates the need to download pictures onto the computer, then to the printer. The printer does take a longer time to warm up after it has not been in use for a while. This printer prints pages relatively quickly without smudging. I still need to figure out how to scan documents directly to my computer without using the chord. I am also happy to see that this printer allows you to save scanned documents directly into folders in the printer! It does seem that this printer uses ink a little faster than what I am accustomed. This is a great printer for home and small business use. So many features that I haven't even used yet, but would be quite useful for a small business. I was provided a free printer for exchange of an honest review.

product review
I was sent a free sample of this Cannon printer to review. It is an all in one printer which is what I would normally buy to fit my needs.
During set up for wireless it did not find the printer on first try. So I reinitiated the set up and it went seamlessly.
The print quality is good, however a little slow. I have a home office, so I do some printing and scanning daily. I found that the wireless connection to my lap top sometimes was not automatic as I am used to. The desk top computer had no issues.
The menu on the printer is easy to navigate. Changing settings is very easy and clear in its steps. All in all I liked the printer. I think its a good value for price point. I typically am drawn to another top brand, but will in the future add Cannon to my list of products to consider.
From box to desk was easy with the included guide.
The product did meet my quality expectations, but was a little slow.
The print speed could be increased but for typical home use is adequate.
yes, I would recommend this product to a friend or family member.
My overall impression of the product is good, features and ease of use make the printer user friendly for everyone. Which is important for a product of this kind.

has problems with design, but prints ok
We bought this to replace a dead PIXMA all-in-one. Inserting the ink cartridges was quite difficult, since they are tucked down & under in an area that is not exposed on top, just on the side. We are elderly & crouching and trying to see into a dark recess are not easily done. What should have been a second per cartridge operation ended up being around a minute per cartridge, after finding a flashlight to illuminate the space. Also the machine makes a lot of noise when it wakes up. There are several other reasons why I wish the Canon salesman had not talked us out of buying another PIXMA.

Great product!
I had the opportunity to receive a free a Canon printer to use as review. I have a different vantage point because I have witnessed the technological progress of printers. I remember when printers required "threading" paper through the device and images were pixelated at times. However, Canon really shows how much printers have improved! This device is four office machines in one: copier, scanner, fax as well as a printer. This frees valuable office space. I really like the wireless feature. We have the printer housed in a home office but use laptops, tablets as well as cellular phones in other parts of our home. Wireless printing cuts out the need to email the document to myself, access my email on a desktop/laptop tethered to the printer, download the document and finally print it! I have probably forgotten a step or two but this is my point: wireless printing is awesome!
The quality of the printed documents and images is outstanding! We owned a wireless printer prior to this review. After seeing the quality of this printer, all devices have been changed and the Canon is the default printer! The images I printed are suitable for framing.
Having a fax machine and scanner is important to my husband and me. Having them as part of one office machine makes sense to us.
Overall, I am pleased and impressed with the Canon printer.

Great features
I received a free printer in the mail last week to review and overall I am very impressed and happy with the product. It is by far the best printer I have ever had in my home.
After un-boxing the printer, the quick set up instructions were very easy to follow. I will admit that it took me longer to set up than I thought it would, mainly due to my haste and not noticing that the paper tray sticks out a little bit instead fitting fully underneath. However, the picture in the quick start guide clearly shows this.
The printer instructed you on which ink cartridges to install and when. And the paper tray has easily decipherable markings on if you want to change the paper size.
Software set up was very easy. I used the network option and followed the prompts at the provided install website. From there, I was able to download the utility suite and set up the scanner and admin website for the printer.
I tested all of the functions of the printer (except for fax since I do no have a phone line Copying, scanning, and printing all work exceptionally well (and I love being able to duplex print) and are very quick. However, my favorite feature of the printer is using the app that the quick start guide alerted me to.
I am able to print pictures from my phone from the app and the quality of those printed pictures were great. There is also an option to scan, link up to a cloud service. The app works very well and is not clunky as my previous app was from a different manufacturer.
In terms of quality of the printer itself. It has sturdy hinges for the scanner and nothing seems flimsy on the paper catch tray. The size of the printer is a little bigger than my old one, but is an easy trade off for the features and quality I now have.
Overall, as stated above, I am extremely happy with the printer and absolutely would
recommend to friends and family.

Great Home Office Printer
I received a new Canon Printer: MAXIFY MG2120 and it works better than I could imagine. The printer is equipped with a scanner/copier and can be used to fax documents. Its installment was very straight forward by reading the manual and easy for my ASUS computer to connect to. It holds plenty of paper and the printing color was very clear and clean. The printer print speed is very quick as well which bothered me with my last printer I owned. The only downfall to the printer is the size of it, but isn`t too big of a concern for me. Overall, very satisfied with this printer and gets the job done. Would recommend for any home office needs!

Great AIO Device - especially for families!
Overall, this printer does what it`s supposed to do: print fast and high quality. I was sent this printer to test, and I thought it was going to be like any other multi-function printer, good at everything but not great printing. I was definitely wrong with my initial assessment.
The printer was a little difficult to set up, as the instructions don`t make it clear how to install the paper cartridge. After getting it set up though, it seemed to just work. I was able to install the drivers, connect to the printer and print a document within 15 minutes. Definitely better than many other printers I`ve encountered, especially with Windows 10 installed.
Some of the extra features really make this a great printer. The ability to set up Cloud Print directly from the device is fantastic! I can print from anywhere, any device at any time. There were several other options I enjoy much more than I thought I would:
The ability to print Facebook photos directly from the device
The printer can tweet when a cloud print job is complete (crazy!
Scans documents directly into OneNote
Overall, I`d say this printer delivers a reliable, quality service right out of the box.

Needs some improvements
Note; I received a this Canon printer for this review.
First off, I`m comparing this against my everyday printer that I have owned for about a year now.
My first issue was connectivity. It did not come with a cable to connect to my PC so I decided to do the WIFI connection. The printer would not connect to my WIFI network after numerous attempts and numerous trouble shootings. I gave up on that! So then I just decided to do the direct WIFI connection. It took two to three attempts then it finally connected. After this all work well for about 1/2 a day.
My second issue. Why is there a sleep or auto off mode for an on-demand hardware item? After the 1/2 day of working great, the print went to sleep/auto off. It lost all the connections to my PC. So I`m back again to establish a connection to my PC. I tried to connect to the network again and it failed so I just reconnected via direct WIFI again. Then later again, it goes into sleep/auto off and I lost connection again.
My third issue. Slow! When I did have a connection and after I sent a job to print, it took a long time for printer to start doing anything. I was not sure if the print job had queued properly. This was also the same with copying and scanning.
My fourth issue. User interface. As noted above I`m comparing this to my everyday printed which has a touch screen interface so here I`m a little biased. It is very simple and straight forward. The Canon is much more difficult to operate. Example, I scan a lot of 8.5 x 11 sheets to .jpg files and it took some finagling to get this done and to have the file on my PC desktop.
The print quality was very good with the color and black and white.
I did not use the fax feature because I have not sent or received a fax in about 4 years! Who uses fax services anymore?
In summary; connectivity and the sleep/off mode needs a lot of improvement, response speed to print jobs need improvement, user interface is okay but I`m used to a more intuitive touch screen, and print quality is very good!

New printer for our family
Last week I recieved my free sample maxify mb2120 to use and review.
I found the setup process to be clear and easy.
After set up I experimented with each of the functions including the scanning functions. Each function was easy to learn. I personally enjoyed the wireless printing option allowing me to simply download an app and print from my android phone.
The items printed were of utmost quality with bright clear color and vibrancy.
Its been a pleasure sampling this printer and will highly recommend it for anyone.

Didn't even make it to 3 years!!!!
My ADF sensor on this printer stopped working! When I put paper in the ADF it doesn't beep and doesn't recognize anything in the ADF and automatically scans the platen!!! Spoke to their support number that was a waste of time first off I was waiting for 45mins to get someone and when I did she had me check the fax and says the fax works, I tried to explain it wasn't the fax. She said I can pay to upgrade my printer but it's off warranty. I have always bought Canon printers for over 20 years and now am not impressed with this piece of junk. I've told many to purchase Canon when they have looked for printers as I've had no issues. I am now looking at Brother or Epson or HP now to replace this printer and the poor support given. Shame on you Canon for no support at all as far as this printer.

Reasonably pleased.
I've been using this printer about a month with no problems for single/double sided printing, single-sided scanning, gray scale, and color. The drivers on my Win10 computer interface with it beautifully. I've primarily used the standard EPSY Canon app on my Android devices. It usually works well, but not as flexible as I'd like - some pages print too little on a page, for instance, with no obvious way to control that. Eventually I found a drop down menu to customize some changes. Have not seen any advantage to using the MOPRIA interface. The options appear to be the same, and using the latter prevents one from using the Canon default.

Real Loser!
I hate this printer! So many keyboard gymnastics to get one simple thing done. I tried to send back for higher priced model but was turned down. I called on the 16th day after arrival and I was only allowed 14 days.
