Notice though that SAM’s Club sometimes has a complete package of inks that includes the PGI-250 tank which I have to purchase separately from Cannon. Why doesn’t Cannon sell the complete ink set on their site?

When one of the ink cartridge colors is running low, I am notified during the printing process. I have the option of ignoring the alert or ordering the cartridge from my print screen. It takes me to the Canon website where I have a choice of ordering a regular or XL cartridge. I have an account with Canon, so I put it in my cart and order it. It's delivered within a week. So simple!

I was really happy with my own Cannon printer so when we bought one for our Churche's Archives which we are resposible for, I was shocked when we had to replace the cartridges when we had hardly used them. I was informed that if we had left the printer on instead of turning it off, that the cartridges would last much longer! Lesson learned I HOPE!
