As this RAM is entirely JEDEC standard, it can replace any original DDR4 DRAM in major brand PCs, and at any speed from 2133 to 3200 MHz. The timings will be set automatically. Crucial's reliability is similar to other brands of DRAM provided in these PCs. The choice is then guided by price and availability. This is why I frequently choose Crucial.

There was an lot overall lag and the fans were running at full speed for long periods of time. After upgrading to 16gb, my computer is far more snappy. Logging into VM and carrying out general tasks are more "normal." The fan's barely turn on during normal usage, while logged into VM. I'm really happy with this cost effective and simple to do upgrade.

That said, upon getting it, I was able to easily install and get it going. It helped and boosted my computer's speed significantly, going from 8 GB to 16 GB. Works perfectly. I hope to eventually order the 32 GB kit as well.
