D-Link's DCS-6818 is a 36x High Speed Dome Network Camera for professional indoor and outdoor surveillance, which connects to your IP network to provide high-quality live video. This camera supports precise high-speed Pan/Tilt/Zoom functionality for extensive monitoring and object tracking, for example by defining paths for the camera to follow, with specific pan, tilt, zoom and focus features.
The DCS-6818 captures video in both dark and light environments, and produces clear images even in adverse backlight conditions such as direct sunlight. This, together with its Infrared-Cut Removable (ICR) filter, makes the DCS-6818 ideal for around-the-clock surveillance.
The vandal-proof, weatherproof dome enclosure (IP66 certified) protects the camera against rain and dust, and can be mounted in a variety of positions based on your needs.
The DCS-6818 supports dual MJPEG and MPEG4 compression formats, and JPEG still images. Video recording can be continuous, schedule-based, or triggered by motion detection. Images can be continuously recorded on a local hard drive, Network Attached Storage (NAS), or uploaded on a remote FTP server.
Up to 32 cameras can be monitored on a single computer screen with the included D-ViewCam software.
