The D-Link AirPlus XtremeG DWL-G800AP is a High Speed 802.11g Wireless Range Extender that can be configured to perform in two operation modes: Wireless Access Point or Wireless Repeater. Adding the DWL-G800AP to your existing wireless network enables you to extend the wireless signal — particularly useful when walls, ceilings or other architectural obstacles inhibit the wireless signal from reaching its desired destination. When used as an access point, the DWL-G800AP is fully compatible with 802.11b-compliant devices. Security features include WPA and 128-bit WEP encryption for stronger network security.
