If you only have one monitor, 24" is a bit small for me, but I do have two and I think this is the perfect size with dual monitors. I like the depth of color on this unit (the contrast is good so it's easy to see borders on different windows when working in the OS). It's a fairly basic monitor, but it does the job with clear text throughout all resolutions.

It's only been a week but I made the right choice
I bought these to use on my Dell Office CPU. They have great colors. The screen is right to the edge.
I will have to see how they are with the reduced blue light. I may move these to my other CPU and buy the next larger size for this system.

I had ordered a few back up monitors for our business so they were brand new unopened sitting in my office and when we finally unboxed one of them to set it up, we noticed the LCD was cracked. Since it was shortly past 30 days from purchase date it was not covered, and I had to pay for a new one out of pocket.

Great Basic Monitors. These are our go to for new hires and replacement monitors. They easily mount to sit stand desks and support Display Port and HDMI connections.
Only issue is that I wish I could order them without stands as I wind up throwing (e-cycling) a lot of the stands with Sit Stand desks.

Dell P2422H Monitor has some nice features
Right out of the box, I thought it was nice to not need to find a small screw package and go looking for tools. The monitor snaps to upright and a keyed threaded connector is secured in the base. The ports on the rear are downward facing, so a bit tough to make connections, but makes for easier cord management as a tradeoff. I would personally wish for a bit higher adjustment, but the pivot and rotation adjustment ability is nice.

USB power is disappointing and inadequate
Monitors have USB hub built in which was one of the main reason for purchasing this specific model. When I first powered on the monitor it prompted me to select whether or not I wanted the USB to provide power (I don't recall exact verbiage), I selected yes. However, when you plug anything in that requires power (iPhone/iPad) it says that you are overloading the USB. I would not recommend this model. I purchased 2... ;-(

Easy to put together with the pictures and easy to turn screw! Been using them for a few days now and they are nice and clear. I wish they had come with a set of small instructions on why the USB port may be necessary for charging as I dont quite understand how or why that may be needed. The instructions could also include how to maneuver the toggle joystick used for settings.

Also cable situation confusing and unclear. No VGA cable, only HDMI and DP cables included. New system has only VGA and HDMI ports. ??!!

This monitor was delivered without an HDMI cable which was an inconvenience. Not sure why this would be the case. I have had this monitor in a different country and all cables were included in the box. Unless I got a monitor that was previously used and returned without all cables? Disappointing. Stylish quality for a great price
One of my larger clients has purchased several dozen of these and I decided to get one for myself because it's a fine choice in the moderately priced division. Very clear video and the on/off button is easily accessed on the rear. It also has a nice joystick-style button on the rear for On-screen adjustments; much easier than the regular buttons on the bottom edge of many monitors.

Rough getting it going- but fabulous now
After i got it going, it was great, However I needed to call on professional help, as I was unable to get it connected to my laptop- even using a docking station. Also I needed a different cable that was not provided. All that being said- after it got up and running- it's been Fabulous. Love the ability to have two full pages open at once. Great clarity- No complaints.

It is a nice monitor. I am happy with it. The picture is bright. It comes back to life after the computer is offline sleeping if I press the keyboard. It is a little smaller than I had expected (but that’s me -for some reason.). Over-all it is adequate for the job of using it with the new Dell desktop.

I must say that I'm a bit disappointed with this style of monitor. I don't like that the sound bar (AC511M) that I purchased does not mount underneath the monitor. You can mount the sound bar on the stand but I did not use the stand. I have a stand that holds all 3 of my monitors. I was thinking that this sound bar would be just like the previous Dell Monitor that I had, where it attaches right under the monitor. Now, it looks tacky for the sound bar to sit on top of my desk. This is why I am giving it a low score. If it weren't for this I would have rated it a 5.

Beautiful Monitor
Beautiful Monitor with a Beautiful Display. Easy to Connect and Easy to use. On-Off Switch and Settings Controls are oddly placed on the back of the Monitor. Not sure why they decided to make the stand silver and the monitor housing black. Only disappointment is that my Soundbar will not attach to the Monitor after the Salesperson told me it would attach just the same as on the E2318H I was replacing.

Quality monitor with plenty of features.
Monitor has a clean picture with larger resolution giving ample display space. The colors are sharp and images are crisp. Lines are good with no pixilation noticeable at all. The only drawback I've found is the lack of a detent on the rotation when moving the display from landscape to portrait, making it a bit cumbersome to level in each direction. Plenty of options with display / HDMI ports including multiple USB ports makes it easy to have the source tucked away for a clean look.

A nice monitor to save my sight.
this unit is easier to set up. self-adjusted settings based on the input. if your equipment is Dell no need for installing drivers. The adjustable stand is perfect to align to your height.

Went to website to purchase monitor. Changed one option to non Ethernet and all of a sudden changes to monitor - no usb c or hub. Customer service didn’t care, charge you 15% restock.
I would not buy this monitor through dell- misleading website.

The P2422H is a good product and value.
The P2422H is easy set up, adjust, and it has great picture quality. It is a little fragile; I broke one just by it tipping over on the desk.

It's only been a week but I made the right choice
I bought these to use on my Dell Office CPU. They have great colors. The screen is right to the edge.
I will have to see how they are with the reduced blue light. I may move these to my other CPU and buy the next larger size for this system.
