Works perfectly for my Latitude 5590.
Easy to install, and it revived my workhorse of a laptop. Highly recommend.

Great battery, not a great price
Great, long lasting battery. Unfortunately, the cost is astronomical compared to generic OEM branded you can purchase elsewhere. As a work replacement and not on my dime, I went for the name brand. It is a nice upgrade with additional Wh than I had previously.

Longer Life Unplugged
Easy to install and works perfectly. The replacement is twice the size of the original and lasting a long time before having to plug back in. One day I forgot it wasn't plugged in and was pleased with how much battery life was still left.

Its a battery
Its a battery for a laptop I have had for three years and it fits. It seems that it was manufactured at the same time as my laptop as it does not hold a charge for very long, but at least it has not swelled to double its normal height like the one it replaced.

Poor Quality.
These batteries didn't even last the life of the warranty or the lease agreement of the laptops. I would have given it 0 stars but that is not an option sadly.

Not going to return the battery though because we have other laptops in our organization that we think this will work for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad Warranty service I had this battery replaced under warranty on a laptop. Less than 10 months later, it swelled up and was bending open the chassis of the laptop (you could see inside the machine).  As the warranty of the laptop had just expired, Dell would not honour the part warranty of the replacement battery.  I have been forced to buy a new battery.  Time will tell how long this one lasts...
