The product works wonderful - my computer is running much faster. The only thing that would have been nice is to have a screw that goes in the bottom to hold it in my Dell. It was difficult finding one locally in our smaller town.

Impossible to Install
Well not exactly impossible ... I think ... not sure yet. Here's the bottom line: To install this SSD in an XPS 9510 you need an adapter that allows you to fit a 2230 SSD in a 2280 slot; and you need two M2x3 screws. Dell neither provides these parts, nor gives you a way to order them. I searched the Dell site, spent half an hour on three online chats, followed by over an hour on phone calls with two different support agents trying to get an answer as to how to get these parts. Ultimately after half hour on hold the call dropped. I found a part from China that MAY work. I'll have the opportunity to try it in a couple days.

Quality product however not enough info regarding fitment.
Quality product however, slow postage time and there is no up front information in regards to mounting the drive. It requires a mounting screw which dell does not stock or have a listing for.

Not compatible and difficult return
Used Dell website to purchase but it didn't fit my machine. Was more expensive than local retail option and return was difficult and took a long time.

Installing solid state drive
Fairly easy to install for a novice. Getting the back off was the only challenge. Use a gift card to pry open by starting at the back.

It’s just what I needed the computer was slow had so many problem with the computer kept working with dell and they figured it out they put old hard drive in it so I put in solid state and now or great I have owned 8 dell computers and 6 lab tops would not buy anything else
