Dock Good; USB-C Connector Bad
The dock runs much cooler than my laptop and I no longer have to unplug everything in order to boot (Dell laptop power supplies are weak).
On the downside, the USB-C plug into the laptop has no latching and is dependent on the minimal friction that the plug provides. It has come loose several times, causing the laptop to run on battery.
It does have a nice form factor and fits on my limited desk space quite well.

Generally Bomb-proof (After firmware update)
It's a Dell. It works... mostly. Our experience with these units is that their firmware is lacking and requires every single one to be updated. After the update they are generally bomb-proof. With that said, there's roughly 1% that fail in odd ways that we are still troubleshooting.
