5kVA/4.5kW/208V Battery Backup for IT Installations and Edge Networks

This 9PX rack-mount online double-conversion UPS system provides reliable battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, surges and line noise that can damage valuable IT equipment or destroy data. An included transformer permits a step-down voltage from 208V to 120V to allow connection of a wider range of components. The 9PX5KTF5 is superlative power management for education, commercial, financial or healthcare networking components, including Cisco switches and servers.

Expandable Internal Battery Backup Keeps You Operational Through Power Outages

The field-replaceable, hot-swappable valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) battery modules allow you to work through short power failures and give you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Exclusive ABM technology increases battery life by 50 percent and closely monitors battery health to provide advanced notice when batteries need replacing. You can also connect up to four extended battery modules (9PXEBM180RT, sold separately) for hours of extended runtime.

Included Gigabit Network Interface Offers 24/7 Remote Access

The NETWORK-M2 Gigabit network card enables full remote configuration and management, including load shedding, reboots of connected equipment and safe shutdowns. UPS firmware can also be flashed remotely through the NETWORK-M2 without dropping the load, so you don't have to plan for downtime. The card meets both UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards for cybersecurity, which were developed to address the vulnerability of connected devices to known malware/exploits and to protect business from these risks. The optional Environmental Monitoring Probe Gen 2 (EMPDT1H1C2, sold separately) provides a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities, including temperature and humidity conditions.

NEMA Outlets Protect Your Connected Components

Two L6-20R, one L6-30R and 18 5-20R managed outlets provide connected equipment with pure sine wave AC output and allow you to monitor power consumption down to the outlet group level. Power provided by these outlets is filtered to protect connected equipment against damaging surges and line noise. The 9PX5KTF5 also supports hardwired output.

Rotating LCD Interface Keeps You Informed at a Glance

The intuitive front-panel LCD provides control settings and critical information to help diagnose any issues. The interface rotates to accommodate both rack-mount and tower configurations, and it tilts up to 45 degrees for more comfortable viewing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Great Service Good Software We have a pair of 9PX1500 Units with the management cards. They were set up in a redundant failover system using the Eaton Intelligent Power Manager system which once you figure out some of the terms and idiosyncrities of the system is really easy to use and setup as well as it lets us monitor other brand UPSes in the same system which is very convienent. Our previous CyberPower units didn't have the power to withstand some of the power surges we have been getting recently so we upgraded to a more robust system with easier management as well. I now am totally confident in our system and get much better notifications about any issues we run into. One of our two units was DoA but Eaton shipped us a replacement unit overnight without any reservations and all of the agents I talked to were fantastic and really great to work with. While I may have had issues with a few units on arrival from vendors I will stick with Eaton units moving forward based on their excellent service as well as the overall quality of their software and management systems which are head and shoulders above the competition in regards to ease of use and easier readability of the status of everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 9PX6KSP, EMI104-10 and EBA201-10 This is the first split phase system we've had. So far we're happy with system. We are chasing, what I think is, a voltage spike in our panels. The system goes to battery multiple times a day for 1 second. It happens at random times so I don't think it's on purpose. we are looking into some test equipment to verify before contacting Eaton. Planning to add an addition 208v system next year for redundancy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2x Eaton 9PX3000TRN's We've had these 2 UPS units setup for almost 3 years now. Each one also has an Extended Battery Module attached. My original goal was to get 30 minutes of server runtime, ended up with over 40! shortly after that realized that with our litter server room, if the power goes out, so does the AC of course, and then I just cook my servers, so perhaps I didn't need that runtime after all. Each UPS has a EMI102-10 Metered Input PDU attached. While perhaps overkill for our needs, I love having the redundancy, and also being able to view everything in Eaton's power manager.
