For the DuraFon ROAM system, a base station controller (BSC) is required. To ensure exceptional long-range coverage, the BCS manages system calls and hand-off between base units. It manages up to 8 base units and uses the standard SIP protocol. It works with the EnGenius DuraFon ROAM System.
