Perfect size for home router back-up power
I purchased this product to keep my home router working during short commercial power interruptions. The security cameras, computers and telephone are all working though the router, so maintaining a backup power supply is essential. I am vey happy with the 200X and all GOALZERO products. I have also purchased the 3000X for emergency situations where we lose commercial power for extended periods of time.

DOA- Unit Dead On Arrival
Hey bought one of these on sale had a few bad reviews of the units not operating out of the box. Caught it on sale so I decided to take the risk. Unit came completely drained, and. Wouldn’t take a charge. Indicator show that it was receiving power from the wall charge but after several hours still at zero percent. Sent an email to customer service hopefully they will be quick and helpful as I’m still in the 30 day period and warranty but will update this based on that process.

Excellent build quality and functional
I have owned a Yeti 1000 for a year and a half. I use it to power my refrigerator during power outages. Knowing the quality of Goal Zero I wanted to purchase and try the new 200X for a car camping trip to power my ResMed AirMini CPAP machine and to power my instant hot water heater.
So after using it to power the water pump and the CPAP I had 51% power left. Enough power for two full days before I had to recharge the unit. I brought a Yamaha 2000 with me so charging was not an issue. One thing that GZ states is that using a 45W USB C charger will charge the unit from dead to full in two hours. I tested that myself and it charged the unit from dead in 3.6 hours.

Loud fan, charge issues
This battery is most use with a Nintendo Switch docked TV mode and a MacBook Air with a USB-C PC to MagSave-Adapter. The Switch pulls at this case max 15 watts. If I use the Switch, the fan of the 200x came on, is loud and noisy and runs continuously. A normal gaming is not possible, the fan is really noisy.
The battery was drain to 34%, time to charge. I hook up the Boulder 100 Briefcase, the sky was clear, no clouds and the charge starts. And stops. And starts. The blue charging symbol was blinking, light some seconds solid, blink again. The charging process is inconsistent and finish at 84%, the charging stops completely. No way to charge up to full (100%).
Ok, this 200x is broken, replace to a new one. The short version is: the same behavior of the replacement.
The fist charge stops at 99%. I sent a mail to Goal Zero and there was no response.
I use some Yetis, all of them are old lead-acid (one 400, three 150). Now I bought new batteries for two old Yeti 150 (the newest one still runs very good), they runs many years without problems. And would running more years too.

Gear for what you need
Disregard richard (he's virtue signaling about hiking) and comparing mili-amp discharge to watt hours. Goal Zero Yeti 200x is rated at 187 watt hours vs a battery pack like his is different function- 20,000 mah (is around 74 watt hours pending the discharge voltage). Form factor is small and simple works right out of the box. Should have a review up shortly on youtubes. Great for keeping in car while using for camping, van life, recharging phone, cell accessories like hot spot. (won't power your a/c or tesla )
This also functions as DC,USB,AC Inverter so there is some loss pending on what type of source you are using.
Cons: Cost - shoot for 1 $ per watt hour so 200 watt hours should cost around 200 dollars. Probably can get open box or discount though in the future on this.
Pros: Form Factor , nice aluminum sides can act as a heat sink to cool with fans, easy to carry and nice styling. ProTip: Goal zero gives you an extra year of warranty for registering on website.
Pricier than similar items but it may be up your alley if you just want something small and works!

Versatile, lightweight and portable
I purchased my Yeti 200x when it was first released and it has been my workhorse for portable power ever since. I keep it in my home office to charge all of my regular electronics on a daily basis, but it is always ready to go outside for camping and travel. Most importantly, I have it ready to work on cars or shop work, providing lighting and portable power. Combine the 200x with a Dremel tool and you have an awesome setup that you can take anywhere.
The low battery protection has saved me twice from draining to an unsafe level after hours of heavy use. I have charged the 200x using the power supply, the Yeti 12 volt car charging cable, Nomad 20 panel, and Boulder 50 and 100

Works until it doesn't (poor CS & terrible manual)
I've owned this for over 2 years now, and generally really like the unit. It's small and has lots of good features. That said, my first unit recently had to be replaced after it stopped accepting a charge. When we reached out to Customer Service, we were asked if we ever leave the unit unused and charging for months at a time, which we had, since that's exactly what the manual recommends for long term storage. We were told that we should be "exercising" the unit regularly, and (incorrectly) told that this was stated in the manual. After looking through the online manual, and only finding info about keeping the unit plugged in and topped off when storing, we pointed this out, at which point the CS rep changed his story and said exercising is just what he tells people to do. The unit was 2 months past the warranty, so we were only offered an open box unit (with only a 6 month warranty), and we would have to pay to ship back the old unit. We decided to return it to REI instead, since this was considered a defect (a $300 PLB should not just stop working after 26 months), and thus could be returned beyond their 1-year Satisfaction Guarantee.
Upon replacing the 200X with a new one, I read through the new manual (User Guide) carefully, and it still advises the same thing regarding long term storage. I did some research on my own regarding Lithium Battery care, and it seems like LBs actually prefer to be kept and stored in the middle (~40-60%) of their charge capacity. It should be noted that the 200X/500X booklet (not the manual) that came with our unit does have a Yeti Tips & Tricks page, and in the Keep It Charged section is says to use it regularly to keep the battery in its best working condition, but the manual says nothing of the sort.
It's also worth pointing out that the Warranty period is not clear. In the Warranty & Contact section of the manual, it says 180 days for battery cells, and one year for all other GZ products. However, on the very next page there is a a logo that says Warranty, and below it in big bold all caps is "2 YEAR WARRANTY".

Weight to mah issue
I have a 28plus solar panel, which charges a 10,000 mah li-on battery. The battery weighs 10.1 oz. Your 200X comes out to 37,400 mah, and weighs 5 lbs! And then there is the price. Way out of bounds. If Goal Zero sponsored me and my trips I would refuse to bring the 200X. Now I am having doubts about your solar panel that is in my possession. I haven't given it a real test before the main trip begins. The real tests will begin in December on the Continental Divide in Montana. The lengthiest tests will be two six-night snowshoe trips, while the main trip length is 60-90 days long.

great power for the size
I bought the 200x over 6 months ago from REI. I used it to charge batteries, flashlights and a phone. I powered a 20 inch flat screen sony tv for 2 and half hours with 12% power left. the cooling fan was on the whole time and was whisper quiet. it kept the unit very cool and no heat at all. I used a 50 boulder to recharge the 200 in smokey clear skies. I'm in the wine country surounded by the fires so no real bright sun. the 50 boulder charged the 200 from 12% to 88% in 7 hours and toped it off with the ac from the wall. this is the unit to have for a small power packed backup when the power goes off. I bought amazon basics usb cables for the usb c ports to open up 2 more charging ports with the 6mm 12v adapter. I tested the 2 12v ports with the 4 usb ports and the ac port and the unit worked and did its job. I'm a factory worker and some GZ customers complained of faulty products. machines as good as they are will produce faulty products. just call GZ and sort out bad products.

I would like this a lot better if it worked
Well, it doesn’t work very well. I plug it in to charge it and it doesn’t charge. The helpful folks at Cole zero suggested that I press a couple buttons together to reset it. This didn’t work either. The form factor is nice. I like the handle on the top. However, at the end of the day it’s not of much use as it doesn’t do what it is supposed to do.

Teardrop Power Source
I have had the Yeti 200X for several months in anticipation for use in the teardrop trailer I have built. While waiting for the intended purpose, we have used it multiple times to charge phones and laptops just to see how well it works. Absolutely no complaints. While we started out charging it through the AC cord included in the box, I have recently paired it with a Boulder 50. I have charged it with the solar panel ever since. At home I can leave the Boulder 50 in the backyard with the extra-long cable attached to the Yeti 200X under the patio cover. (Be warned - the solar panel frame can get hot in the direct sunlight!) But it charges the power station within a few hours (from 40% existing power). I also leave the panel in the bed of my truck and feed the cord into the cab to charge the battery. During this time the power station has been running reading lights, the overhead light and a roof fan in the cabin while finishing the interior construction. It also powers an overhead light in the galley. I have connections to hook up the Yeti 200X in both the interior cabin and the galley. Either connection powers the entire trailer. We had our first "test" outing over the weekend and it worked exactly as planned. We look forward to many trips with this as our power source for our needs - lights, fan, phone-laptop-camera charging and running the fan for assisted ventilation.

Convenient
This battery power source is light weight and super portable. It seemed excessive to have an inverter in such a small unit, kind of an over manufacture and maybe inefficient, but, it’s been very convenient to be able to plug in a floor lamp to work in my storage unit. The next size yeti is twice as heavy and not so portable. So far, I haven’t tried to run anything that draws more power. For charging a phone or computer, t’m sure it will be just as useful. The convenience is worth the expense.

Yeti 200X
I bought my first one last year with the solar panel and I loved it!!! It came in in perfect working shape. I used it all the time, unfortunately it got left outside and we got a really bad rain storm. It quit working so, I bought a new one this year just last month and I was not as happy with the second one. I took it out of the box because I was so excited to get my generator and plugged it up. Well it would not charge it constantly said 0% on charge display. I called Goal Zero and the rep told me how to try to reset it but it did not work. So I talked to the company again and they got it set up so I could return the defective product. I waited two weeks and never received anything about the return label or instructions on returning the product. So I called them back and this time I talked to a young lady who instantly emailed me the return label to return the defective unit. So now I am still waiting for the replacement......

Won’t charge, poor customer service
I got the 200x and the boulder100 solar panel 3 years ago for my birthday and was super excited to have this for outages and other outdoor activities. Per the instructions I left 200X plugged in, ready to use in the event of a power outage and maybe unplugged/used the unit 15 times in the last 3 years. Otherwise it stayed plugged in and on a shelf not being touched. When we had some power issues the other day I unplugged it to use and now the unit will not charge. After contacting customer service they asked me to use the solar to see if it’ll charge and see if was just the cord but it did not and therefore the input on the 200x to charge is broken. After several emails and finding receipts they said the unit is out of warranty and all they offered was an out of the box replacement that I’d have to buy. I have several goal zero products and I used to love them but I will no longer be purchasing or using any goal zero products.

Works well with plug-in CPAP machine and my laptop. Haven't really used it for extended periods, though, so can't comment on longevity. Does hold its charge well over weeks of non-use. This is a major improvement over my old Yeti 150, which didn't live up to my expectations.

My Yeti 200 makes life easier
I like the Yeti 200 a lot. I bought it for use when we go camping in our camper van and have a Nomad 50 for remote charging. We only use the Yeti for our tablets, phones, Lighthouse 600, usb fan, and led string lights. We typically travel for 2 night getaways and haven’t needed to use the Nomad very often. Also, I use the Yeti 200 when I’m gardening or doing home repairs outside listening to podcasts and music for hours at a time, when use of an extension cord is not feasible. I think it’s a great invention!

We use this for charging phones, tablets, lights, and Nintendo Switches while camping. Alone we can usually get everything charged for a day. It's lighter, and smaller than the one a step cheaper. I have both yeti 150 and yeti 200X. I'm keeping both of them forever... I only keep one loaded on me, and they both fit into my hiking backpack. Only thing I miss is the auto turn off feature my other generator had when nothing was plugged in long enough. Would do it again if I went back in time.
