Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy I upgraded!! Boondocking must! Tells me my wattage IN and OUT so I can monitor energy levels. Lighter in weight and the dust covers come in handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Emergency back up unit This is my 3rd Goal zero station. My first was the old style "Bullet shaped" device from about 8 yrs ago!. We live in FL and during hurricane season living out in the country you have to be prepared for trees/heavy branches to fall etc. So far all the Goal Zero items I have bought over the years have worked extremely well. I keep them charged year round just in case any sudden storms pop up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yeti 300 quick to "reload" on solar charging I purchased the newer model of the Yeti 300 and the improved technology is much better than my Yeti 500 of the older version. The Yeti 300 recharges much faster than the 500. If I had the funds I would update my 500 also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Car charging cord? I was excited about this until I realized it didn’t come with a car charging cord and of course the solar charging option is hundreds extra. Should have just bought a new battery and used the inverter and solar panel I already have. Honestly, I’ll probably return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first back-up We live in Oklahoma and this year with record tornado's we contemplated the need for a short term power back up system. Our first conversation was what was a priority. Mine was internet and coffee, with this we can make accommodations to stay somewhere else in a worst case scenario. This unit is perfect for that application. We haven't lost power for more than a few hours in 10 years so protecting for more than that seemed overkill. Going from having NOTHING to staying connected gives us the peace of mind we need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not that happy with it. I bought it like two months ago and used it one time and it died in less than two hours

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not run a full refrigerator as advise very good quality I'm a Eng. tch and by spec the only way run a full refrigerator is if the refrigerator is linear inverter or if power bank is low frequency inverter. I test with a small refrigerator and the yeti 300 cant run the refrigerator I wait for a yeti 700 to do the same test

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unable to service, even when relatively new I have had two smaller Yeti batteries and both stopped working spontaneously after a couple of years. GoalZero updates their models fairly frequently though and won't service the older models (they were purchased new in 2021 and 2022 from REI and need new fuses). Unfortunately, this means they are now headed to a landfill... GoalZero provided a 20% off coupon for new purchase, but this just means another battery would be headed for the landfill when it stops working after a dozen or so uses. Super wasteful, seems like more planned obsolescence, ironically from a company named "Goal Zero"...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge improvement! We have the Yeti 150 and it has served us well. However, the sealed battery is starting to not hold a great charge. We upgraded to the new Yeti 300. This is an impressive upgrade with the new control panel and lithium ion battery. The unit charges lights and power supplies so much more quickly. And, the 300 holds a charge much better than the 150. The new 300 is a great improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal for off the grid mountain cabin. We bought recently 2 yeti 300s and a string of lights for our off the grid cabin, 9,700 ft in the Eastern Sierra Nevada’s. Everything works well. The weathered covers on the yeti and requiring to push two button to turn on is a bit clumsy. In addition, the length of the light cords are really short. We now have 4 batteries (2 300s, 1 1000, and I think a 500?$ and a bank of your solar panels. Great product and perfect for our summer getaway.
