Instead of printing 9700 pages I printed around 3500 pages before it went empty.

Disappointed
The printer is less than three months old and now when copies are printed it appears as though there is black speckled on the sheets that come out of the printer. I have never had this before from any printer whether it is HP, Epson or even the IBM printers of old. I am surprised, puzzled and disappointed

Unless HP makes it up to me, I will never buy another Hewlett-Packard printer again and I will advise friends colleagues and employees not to purchase a Hewlett-Packard printer. Thank you for asking for my review.

TIMELY AND EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Living in Alaska has its downside one being that many companies outside the State come back with WE DO NOT SHIP TO ALASKA so it's refreshing to have a company like HP who not only ships to Alaska but is very timely in doing so. We have many HP products in our office so the excellent service, whether via phone or online is tremendous.

Good toner, but pricey.
Toner quality as expected (crisp, no streaks) but the cost per toner (over $225 per replacement) is quite steep and makes one reconsider HP printers for any budget conscious small business. It is several times more expensive than toner for our other laser printers (different brand). We have a very paper intensive business and while the HP printer itself has fast speeds and can easily handle our monthly volume, it remains to be seen whether this toner will meet the page expectations.
The "starter" toner that came with the printer was consumed very quickly so we're not sure how this will do. In theory this should need replacement roughly the same time as we go through a single box of paper (9,000-10,000 pages) but again, we will see. So this is a test run for us. If HP is listening, please consider that while toner may seem a "cash cow," particularly if you use chips to limit competitor toners, if you price consumables too steep your business consumers may leave entirely to go with other printer brands which have much more reasonable per-page costs.

It's toner, it does what it's supposed to do.
Really not much you can say about this. If the printer runs out of toner and stops printing, you swap out the old cartridge with the new one, and it starts printing again.
