At first it was claimed to be authentic. I tried printing out. Sometimes it worked; sometimes not. Then a Web site page warned the cartridges were not genuine, and were corrupted too! I want a refund!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color Cartridge was faulty out of the box Very disappointed that the color cartridge did not work and my printer wouldn't even function with the faulty color cartridge loaded. I've replaced these cartridges dozens of times and this is the first time a new HP cartridge would not function. My printer just said, "must be replaced" after installing the new one. I had to put my old color cartridge back in just to be able to print black and white prints from the the black ink cartridge. The store wouldn't take them back because both cartridges had been opened and installed, so now I'm out the cost of another color cartridge at nearly $30!

However, I have always had great success 100% of the time using new HP ink cartridges, and these were no exception. My printer is back in use with great success.

I had to order them separately which is usually a little bit more expensive. I used to get points for making purchases also, but apparently that is not available anymore. The delivery was very prompt, so that helped !

HP isn't fooling anyone about not being gouged for replacement cartridges. I can print a document for half the price at a print kiosk. I Will look to another brand of printer when my current printer needs replacing.

The day I ran out of ink, I tried to insert a new unopened color cartridge. It would not work. Of course, it had been in the desk drawer way over 30 days since I had not been printing as much as usual for the last 10 months because my husband and I took responsibility for a four year old child through DHR. I only use the correct cartridge from either HP or purchase at Walmart. In either case, there was no return. I just learned a lesson. I can't purchase the ink until I am so low that I have to purchase it. It will not keep even if it is still sealed in the original plastic bag.

I don't think the price was much different anyway but they were shipped quickly and I received them quickly enough. The only problem with these ink cartridges is that they hold way too little ink for the price, otherwise they work great

I got only 37 pages out of the color cartridge and that's just what I got when I purchased it through Walmart a couple of days previous. The black went down to about a third of it left. 37 PAGES! The pages didn't even have full page color on them. There is hardly any ink in these and I would like a refund for both if I can get it.

Also , product yield and shelf life should be considered. Sometimes the cartridges do not print the "150" pages touted in the advertisements. Efficiency in product delivery is good, always room for improvement.

So I’m a convert - I’m back to using authentic/genuine HP Ink cartridges. My days dabbled in the aftermarket dark-side thinking I was so smart & saving $$ over - As it turned out in the long run the others cost me more! But the very first day I put the ink in my printer, I printed off 30 color pages and then it said ink was empty... I am VERY disappointed! Don't know if it was a couple bad cartridges or what. But I will probably order just once more from HP to see if they were bad or just wrong promoting.

I really didn't expect it to perform at such a high level considering it cost just under $30. The pages print quickly and dry fast. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because my black ink tends to run out faster than the color ink. Usually its the other way around. This situation could possibly be only in my specific printer. However, I would still recommend this little powerhouse.

Hello, I bought Hp 61 ink (UPC# 885631805961) to print a project at home. on your website you specify that this ink is able to print Up to 190 black pages, 165 color pages. I understand this is an estimate. However, I never thought I will only be able to print 26 colored pages only. I was hoping for at least 100 colored pages. As a customer, I am very disappointed. I feel that the information posted online is misleading.

The ink level reading showed that I had ink, but the levels were low. So ... I bought new HP 61 2-pack Black/Tri-color Original Ink Cartridges, replaced them in the printer, performed the alignment and my printer, HP Deskjet 3050 J610a series, functioned perfectly. As for the HP Ink Recycling Envelope ... very convenient. I simply placed the ink cartridges into the envelope and mailed them to HP postage free. And ... my order arrived very quickly via FedEx. Thank you!

SURPRISE SURPRISE ! didn't have to travel to the local store, pick out my desired products and pay for them. And I got my product easily at a good price and effort. I'll use the service next time,

I think they sent refills the next time because they certainly didn't last long even though they said hp on the pack. Hopefully these will last a long time like my HP ink usually does. I found out that the shape is slightly different and doesn't fit it. You may need to test with the all the listed printers in the supported list. I had to return it. I have to say the return process was simple enough..

The black cartridge prints in black and the colored cartridge prints in color. It doesn't sing songs, do dances, or cook dinner but so far it has done exactly what I expected it to do -- PRINT.

At my work they use recycle and generic ones and they don't work as well as original ones. Don't make the same mistake that many people do. Always rely on original ink cartridges.

They probably won't last very long because they are the same ones that come with your printer. I don't do a lot of printing, so I decided to get these. For me a larger cartridge might dry out before it is used up. The price was reasonable, that's why I bought them. The delivery time was slow. After I ordered these, I ordered some hobby supplies from China. My hobby order arrived before these did.

I think your ink stock is stale and old. Something is wrong. Normally @ new HP ink last about 3 weeks. I would appreciate refunding my order or sent 4 new cartages that are fresh.

They were also on sale at that time. The prices were close the same. I chose to order from HP because of the shipping. I also chose to order because I like that there is a bag to return used cartridges. That is wonderful. It keeps them out of landfills and recycles the plastic. I have not put them in yet. Surprisingly the old ones are still printing fine. The return bag is the big draw for me as well as real HP quality. I always use HP cartridges.

First it said it was empty of ink, than it said it was not an original HP ink. I even took it to a place that works on printers, the guy there told me to put different ink in there because it was empty! I had just bought the ink from HP website. Finally after 4 days of hassels, I put the old empty ink cartridge back in the printer, the printer told me the new ink cartridge was defective. I called HP and they immediately replaced both the Tri-color and Black cartridges, FREE of charge.Thank you HP.

The last one I put in new and after about 35 pages the color was running out. I took it out and shook it, thinking this would help release more ink, but when I put it back the printer it recognized it as a foreign cartridge and would not run. I put in another cartridge and have printed 40 pages and the cool is already light. I've never had this problem before. Do you sell combo packs in 61xl? These suit my purpose much better. And in the order before this one, I mistakenly ordered 60xl, and of course this did not work. But I'd opened them before i noticed the mistake.

I tried all the trouble shooting tips on cleaning it , reinserting it, powering off the printer. Nothing. I finally called HP support to get a replacement. I think the little metal contact dots on the back of it look different than the one I removed . I dont know. It is supposed to be the same number61.

Before I bought, I checked out the prices at Wal-mart and Target, and they couldn't compete in price, plus it was mailed free to my home...I paid no postage. I have not used any of these yet, but if they are comparable to the ink packets in the printer that I bought, they should be fine, because I have used it quite a bit, and I haven't run out of the original ink yet. I have a perfectly good Dell printer sitting idle because of the price of the ink. I will stick with HP for now, assuming the ink packets work as expected. The price is right.

I had just bought a new one and barely used it and it ran out of ink. I wonder if it was old and dried up when I got it. The colored cartridge is decent but also runs out very fast. I don’t use my printer that much so I figured they would last a little longer than a few weeks but it seems to dry up or something. Unless they’re really only meant to print few sheets then run out. Cartridges aren’t cheap. They should be more efficient.

With my specific printer I do feel the cartridges tend to run out quickly which can be frustrating. Overall still enjoy the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst Service My 4630 wouldn't print. It runs and spits out a blank sheet of paper. So, I figured it was the toner and bought these replacements. I inserted them and it gave me a message that, "The following ink cartridge must be replaced" and showed a little black oval. It's a brand new cartridge and YES I removed the tape seal from the contacts. The absolute worst part of this ordeal is the attempts to get service by phone and on line. HP is the absolute worst for customer service and support. Of course, if their products did what they're supposed to do--it wouldn't be an issue. I'm going to see which manufacturer has the best on line reviews for customer support and go buy one from that company!

I started off buying the individual black & Tri color cartridges but saw a sale on the 2-Pack cartridges at Walmart. When I checked the HP store the were much cheaper, so I started purchasing the 2-Pack instead of single cartridges. I'am totally satisfied.

I have a 4635 that I love because it can copy or print but does not require an internet connection to install or operate. My new 6230 model is great for my pastoral ministry. I can write Christian songs, Record those songs and simply print the sheet music. Neither my ministry computer nor my printer goes on the network.
