Limited use
Print quality is very good, that's why I stick with HP printers and ink. Main drawback is that I don't use the printer a lot so the cartridges dry out sooner than I'd like, so I stay away from the large capacity cartridges.

First HP makes it impossible to use ink from other manufacturers. So I buy replacements of the true blue stuff directly from HP. The black ink cartridge I bought doesn't work and I have spent hours trying to track down why. No luck.

I am on my 3rd HP printer since 2006, and these cartridges are the same as the all others over all that time: good print quality, but cartridges quit working even though indicator says half to nearly full. If printer is not used for weeks, the ink acts depleted as if you've printed hundreds of copies.

Malfunctions
It was malfunctioning at the beginning and would not work at the beginning and I had to do a cartridge cleaning. I swear I did not touch the Bronze strip and it still would not work in the beginning until I ran some of the cleaning tools built in the printer. I thought it was an old cartridge and I almost threw it out and used my other one. Also, the cartridge runs out so fast.

This cartridge most definitely does not produce up to 200 pages before running out----MAYBE 50. I would Never buy this printer again for a work place that needs to make more than just a few copies, or print more than a few pages.

bought a new hp 62 print cartridge. printer stated that this was either a refilled, depleted or counterfeit cartridge. then stated it was damaged and needed replacement. i googled as you do and the forums stated that i needed to reset my computer. followed instructions and it still will not print. why is it the more technological things are the more junky they comparably become. if i can find another option i will not be buying another one of these printers again. remember when companies stood behind products??? i don't I am too young

“Generic” ink cartridges
Not sure why they don’t work, but I tried two “new” generic ink cartridges in my HP 5743 printer, with no success, before ordering an HP genuine ink cartridge which worked immediately. The generic ones may have dried out (but were in a sealed package), HP may design the printers to accept only genuine HP cartridges - regardless, if you want your printer to print, use genuine HP cartridges.

It took a day longer than i would have liked.
I just think this particular Ink HP62 is a terrible buy.
I have owned HP printers for over 30 years and the older models didn't rip you off with the amount of printing you could do from one cartridge. I am still using a couple of the older printers, but wanted wireless so went for this printer. I regret it.

Ink Cartridges no where near printed 200 pages
I bought this cartridge and if it even printed 30 pages before it ran out of ink I was lucky.The approximate pages was suppose to be 200 pages. I have better luck with the reconditioned ink cartridges I have been buying from other companies. I also ordered them on Dec 4th and it was put in as ordering on the 5th and then didn't get delivered for about 3 days later so I guess the next day delivery doesn't work either.

200 pages? Yea RIGHT. I used the cartridge that came with the printer very quickly, and thought it was a fluke how fast it went out..ordered a new one and it has lasted less than 3 weeks. Ive printed approximately 75 pages and the color cartridge is already out. This is my work printer, the ONLY thing I print are single page orders...with a fine blue border on them.
I would have never ordered this HP Officejet 5740 had I known now much Ink we would go through! A good deal on the printer is worthless if it costs $30/ month to print.

I am a disabled senior living on Social Security, so most of my needs are met by online sellers. Excellent Quality Printer
Due to the Covid-19, I have been working at home and needed a quality printer to print out Certificates of Origin, miscellaneous Export Documents in color to send overseas, and I was quite impressed. Prints 200 pages on the black cartridge and slightly less on the color, which is a fine ratio if most of your print is black and white.

I ran out of black ink and needed some before the next monthly mailing I ordered from the HP store on line and it was shipped to me. I thought ink was costly for one cartridge. HP monitors my printing and sends me ink when the printer needs it. So I had no idea how much a single cartridge cost.

I bought two Ink Cartridges for my HP printer. Most of the local retailers were out of stock on the one I needed. I also took note of the prices they were charging. Imagine this... I was able to buy 2 of the cartridges direct from HP for a few dllars more than I would have paid for one at Walmart. I recieved my product in a matter of days. I will only order online direct. Yes I may have to wait a day or two but the cost savigs is worth it.

Bought the ink cartridge and installed it--turns out I cannot use it unless I sign up for your Instant Ink program. Belonged to this before and HP every month charged me $4.95/month for a "monitoring fee". I can monitor my own printer usage, thank you very much. I want my money back since I cannot use this cartridge. Never would have purchased from HP's "Official Store" if I knew there was some gimmick behind it.

Care needed when ordering
I assumed because my printer type is listed and levels monitored by HP that choices to order the correct products were listed to choose from. After I chose from the list I received shipment a couple of days later.When I received shipment and tried to install, my printer said wrong cartridge. At this point i had as already removed the tape over the ink cartridge. I had to go to a local store to buy the correct one. Now I'm out the money. Not happy. I've ordered before no problems. Not sure why this cartridge came up on a re order.

I can honestly say that if HP wants to compete with Epson, it needs to find a way to make it’s ink cartridges last longer. The price of the cartridges aren’t bad and they arrive in a reasonable time but unless you need to print 150+ pages immediately, you probably won’t get your money’s worth in ink before the cartridge dries up and clogs.

I’m glad you had this ink cartridge in stock this time. I Prefer this over the non HP brands. As the black ink from the HP cartridge seems to be a bit more precise and clear. The reason I gave it 3 stars out of 5, because I think there should be more ink in this size cartridge, for the price.

Quality Ink Cartridge
I had been using refilled cartridges for many years before purchasing directly from HP. Thought it would be worthwhile to try a factory produced cartridge. I’m glad I did. In my opinion, the ink is better quality and the cartridge absolutely lasts longer than a refill. The price is great and delivery was only 2 days. Excellent service, quality and price.

I bought it in a couple of months ago, I am unhappy with it. I printed only less than 10 pages and print became faint. I encountered it in previous ink cartridge also. I have to purchase a new ink cartridge again. Is the HP printer or ink poor quality???

I actually was subscribing instant ink. but somehow that ink stopped working and printer didn't work right unless I remove that cartridge. Also I didn't receive new one. So I decided cancel the service and switch to just use a regular ink. And it's been working fantastic. Also for some reason my new computer didn't connect right with printer which I had an idea that it's because of cartridge is missing. And as soon as I insert the cartridge, it started work properly ;) So I'm happy for this purchase.

New ink cartridge failed to register
I am very unhappy with HP now. I inserted the new HP black ink cartridge immediately upon receipt. I immediately received an error message. Nothing has worked since. My printer is down and useless. And, I am out over $50 is new cartridges (1 black, 1 color). Why wouldn't I be extremely unhappy with HP?

my HP laptop screen hinge is broken
My HP laptop 15-bs0xx / 1wp51ua is 3 years old. The left side screen hinge broke and now I cannot close the laptop. I'm a retired senior, and cannot afford to buy another computer or spend $$$ to get the hinge fixed. I doubt if I will EVER purchase another HP product. Do you care? I doubt it.

I had ordered an HP 62 Black Ink Cartridge from Walmart and my HP Envy printer didn't recognize it, so I ordered one direct from HP and it was recognized! It took more time than I expected to be delivered though. (The cartridge from Walmart was delivered the next day).

Turns out that the cartridge I had in there was defective. Diagnostics indicated that the cartridge was 1/2 full, but it would not print in black.

I bought this cartridge at wal mart and after installing the cartridge I started printing and the paper came out soaking wet with the black ink, by the time I was able to cancel the printing the cartridge was almost empty. I usually don’t have any problems with your cartridges but this one was definitely defective. I don’t have the receipt and am angry about the money I lost over this!

Use it or lose it
The ink cartridges are very good when first installed and used often like every day but when they sit unused for a weeks they clog up. my last HP 62 cartridge was half full when I had to replace it.

Totally like awesome
It was very exciting. I ordered ink and it came in the mail. I have not put it in the printer yet but I will soon. I’m still so overwhelmed by getting the package.

There has been a shortage of ink since before Christmas. When they finally start to produce again they only produce the most expensive kind. Surely since they know there was a shortage they would start producing the larger quantity cartridges
