HELP FIX MY ERROR MESSAGE
HP's termination of Instant Ink caused me to use this cartridge. Now, when I try to print, I get an error message "connect printer to update HP Instant Ink status. Several techs from HP and from Instant Ink have not been able to correct.

Always a quality, dependable product
I always used HP inks but on advice from a friend tried some other inks a couple of times. Though the cost was less.....so was the quality. Having learned my lesson, I just signed up for HP instant ink program.

Useless cartridges
Can use cartridges because instant ink still is blocking my printer. It is so bad I can't use my new "regular cartridges ". After I was told I could use them. I paid almost $90.00 for the two cartridges.

I went to a large local office products store, and they had no small ink cartridges. It said they can be ordered for fast pick up. They said because so many people are working from home, they are hard to keep in stock. So I ordered on line to be sure I could get the cartridge I needed.

Very poor ordering and product experience
The experience was poor from the time I started ordering. I have ordered for years online and this time it was nothing but difficult.I tried to call the order, but your phone system made that entirely impossible. I tried the virtual assistant- what a joke. Never dealt with a virtual assistant that I couldn't just write my problem and get an answer. Finally got it to go through the 2nd day. Then I only got the black when I had ordered both. No notification that it would be shipped separately a few days apart. Again I tried to call to question=- again- why publish a phone number if you can't get anywhere to get resolution.Not all people have a problem that matches your stock questions that you can't get past. I get it- many are working from home, but I deal with many other companies where they are working from home and they are competent. As I said, I have ordered from you for years and if the next experience is anything like this one, I will be looking for an alternate source. NO I will not go to Walmart!!!!! Very disappointing experience with much time wasted to complete what should have been a simple order

My new HP Pavilion 22cwa 21.5-inch Full HD 1080p IPS LED Monitor arrived today. I followed all installation directions. I am not getting any sound and there are no directions on how to fix this. Very annoying. I have not had problems with HP products before.

there is no question that using HP ink in an HP printer is the right thing to do. However we seem to have lost our vip discount with the addition of instant ink. not all of us print enough to use instant ink. so those of us who have used HP ink for years now have to pay the big price for the product we need. it is almost like companies do not care about the long term customer.

I bought this ink over a month ago because I had a request for OEM HP Ink. The ink cost more than the HP Printer did. This does not seem proper. HP collects insane profits from selling such high-priced fluid.

XL is fine but disappointed in my last cartridge
I have had good luck with the 62 xl cartridges in general but they are pricey. Very disappointed in a standard hp 62 that i placed 2 weeks ago. Out of ink in appx 50 pages or less!. I recycled the cartridge to have, but wished I would have sent it back with a complaint..... hopefully just 1 bad cartridge.

I would recommend that anyone who uses this type of cartridges to purchase them from HP because you have the option of buying extra large cartridges and they are of very good quality. I have been buying these cartridges since I have bought this HP printer--which has been several years ago. I have never had a problem with them. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone because they are a good value for the money!

A solid performer for forms.
A solid performer. I use the 250 for my fire camp paperwork. A cartridge lasts over one season. The 250 powers up from a converter plugged into the 12 power socket. Takes a little bit of fussing to get working. Nice solid black ink that makes a great form.

"I bought this a month ago and I'm so glad I did." It is supposed to arrive today, so I guess I'd better buy another since I might need another next month.
HP sends me a request to rate a product that still hasn't even arrived and even tell me what to write: "I bought this a month ago and I'm so glad I did." I've bought it before, so I can say the cartridge is good, probably better than the knock-offs, but not worth the wait compared to the competition. I remember when HP would ship it overnight for free. Not any more.

Problems with HP ink cartridges
Tried to print a photo on my HP printer. The ink came out so thick and wet on the photo paper and the colors were dark and blurred. Disaster. Not sure if the printer or the cartridges were causing ii. Any suggestions?

Good black ink cartridge. I haven't kept track of calendar time, but the xl cartridge seems to last over a year in my HP printer. I haven't had a true HP cartridge dry out, either. I bought some reused cartridges from a brick store, and those have dried up very quickly - what a waste of money. I recommend true HP cartridges.

Replacement of an early failure
This was a replacement for a new one which stopped being recognized by my HP Envy 7640 printer. It was fine for about 20-30 pages and then all I got was an error. HP replaced it, but it was a hassle.

MUST get authentic HP toner and products for HP printers.
There may be lower cost "compatible" products on Amazon, etc...but I have heard horror stories about non-working replacement toners. I think you get what you pay for. I wish HP would do a "buy-back" or credit for mailing back empty HP toner cartridges but that might be too much to ask....but I'm asking! But seriously, HP toner never lets me down - very long lasting perfect print quality from my HP 200 series Mobile printer. Love that little thing - a real life saver working from home during the pandemic! Do not hesitate to buy with confidence.

When I went to order, several ink packages were not available. So, I ordered what I could. After that, HP cancelled this 62XL cartridge with no explanation. Don't know what is going on here, but I can't seem to find 62 cartridges anywhere in the stores and the online supply is limited. I doubt my next printer will be an HP product.

The HP 62XL High Yield Black Original Ink Cartridge is all right, although it doesn't really print as many pages as advertised. What is far worse now if HP wants to convert everyone to having "Instant Ink" and that will not benefit me at all. My useage varies too much. Also, HP no longer has sales a couple of times each year where I can order several cartridge and stock up for several months and save ten percent. My next printer will need to be one that costs me less for printing! I've been an HP customer for over 20 years and wish they still valued their customers... I also served several years ago on their HP panel that was giving input on their development of the Instant Ink product. It's great for those with whom it works, but their are others that it does not!

Have bought this toner from HP since we obtained the printer. Usually the cartridges are good but have had a couple that were defective and since I keep them till needed as extras might be 6 months before used. Couple would not work in the printer and had to toss them. Because the bad ones were past the return date HP would not replace. Just be warned that there are bad cartridges and you need to use immediately when you receive them.

The XL size was advertised as producing 600 copies. I got 210 copies before it showed as "Low Ink" and stopped producing copies. Unless there was something wrong with my cartridge, it isn't worth the cost.

The Black Cartridge is fine but I also loaded a Tri-color cartridge at the same time and it produces nothing but "pink" print. The date on the cartridge is May 2021 so I am not sure why this is happening? Prior to this, all cartridges worked fine.

Went to Walmart to get ink and found five choices for black...one two pack of 62 black, one XL cartridge, one two pack of ONN remanufactured and one Xl of the same. None of the boxes indicate the liquid content so it was not possible to determine which was the better deal. I thought everything had to have a content amount on the box. Very disappointed. Chose the remanufactured 62 XL as it was the same cartridge but there is nothing to say it was completely filled. This should not be legal.

I couldn't find the HP 62XL black ink cartridge i needed in any of the stores i had tried...some had colour but no black. Time was going on and i had things i needed to complete, i was even contemplating buying a new printer. Luckily i found HP online and ordered directly from Hewlett Packard. the only reason I would give 5/5 if black inc cartridge and color will have a crazy discount , (not a 10 to 15 % off , not during covid 19 recovery ) during 2021 and 2022 a crazy discount should be there for a family who's teaching/cooking/gardening/ on top of that holding the door for a child to learn. there is not a company either in Canada or USA that shows a incentive to a continuum momentum of progressiveness. school year is over means summer school kicks in, parents we continue working , summer programs open for children virtually. more ink , so where is the hp commitment for a regular stay home dad . or mom's.

Please check the quality of the ribbon. I found that since the last year end.even I just replaced a new ribbon and the message stated that the colour was low. My ordered ribbon was 62XL which should be good for printing 600 papers but it was not. Look like the ribbon was dry out.

The ink cartridge does not work. When I took out the old ink cartridge and put in the new cartidge it did not work according to the printer no ink in the cartridge. Kept saying re-install and I did to the point of wanting through the printer out.

The product is not the issue...I ordered ink on 08DEC2020 from HP Canada however to date I’m still here with no ink and out $118 due to a shipping issue. So far the response from HP has been to repurchase the ink while they investigate what happened with the original package

We think of color being critical to printing. Black is equally important. The blackest possible of better and HP ink delivers for HP printers. Cheaper substitutes are tempting but could be more costly in the long run when they mess up your printing and printer.

I opted for the high yield cartridges this time and I have no idea how I feel right now because my ink has not run out. Maybe down the road when they run out I will be like "hey, those didn't last long at all!" or maybe I will be like "hey, those HY cartridges lasted WAY longer than the regular ones, nothing but HY from here on!". I used to buy the original ink and upgraded to this because they told me I would get 600 pages in the XL. It’s kind of a joke. T his is just a printer for our house. Looked up the date and purchased it in March and it is now the beginning of September. There is absolutely no way I’ve printed 600 pages since on average I probably print 1-2 things a week. I don’t want to spend the money again. Disappointed.

The whole replacement cartridge system is just a ripoff. The high price to low volume ratio is great for HP, but not for consumers. Doesn't matter if you buy the regular or XL, it's still the same size cartridge with either a small amount of ink or a very small amount of ink.

Obviously HP makes fantastic products, but the price of their ink cartridges is ridiculously high, and their delivery takes way to long to get to you. My order came by snail mail even though when I checked out online it said I qualified for 1 day delivery. Will find a different ink purchase option in the future.

High Yield? That's a joke!
I just purchased a high yield, black printer cartridge as I had some copies to make on my HP printer/scanner/copier. I installed the cartridge and started copying. I made approximately 50 copies and the cartridge "low ink" notice appeared. Printed pages are printing lighter than standard, which is not great for business purposes. The quality of this cartridge has definitely gone downhill. Calling it a "high yield" cartridge is false advertising.

It turns out I ordered the 62XL instead of the 63XL. And now I'm leaving the country for two months, so I won't have the opportunity to exchange them. Plus I made the mistake of tearing open the package on one of them so I wouldn't be able to return that one anyway. What a mess. Then when I went to the HP website to see if I could find a way to send at least the one I could return, it turned out that I was instructed to call and speak with a customer service representative M-F. But I leave Europe tomorrow morning too early to make that call. I guess I'll ask among my friends to see if anyone needs the 62XL cartridges. This has been a nightmare from start to finish.

Broke my printer!
I used the software/site to smart order my ink. I shouldn't have had to, because the printer is a month old. Apparently they sold the new printer with low ink. But I used the feature to select which ink. I ordered it, it arrived when it said it would. However, there is an error message now, it won't print, it won't tell my why beyond there is a problem with the cartridge. So I bought a new printer to print this thing, now I've bought new ink to print this thing, but it's stopped halfway through and I still haven't printed the thing.

I've always had good luck with HP printers and would always recommend genuin ink cartridges. My only beef is with the return policy. I wish these were covered longer than 30 days. I buy ink when I put the last one I have on hand in the printer so that I have a back up, and this time, the back-up one was defective. By the time I needed it, it was 35 days and out of warranty. Disappointed considering how long I've been a customer.

Love my printer, hate the ink racket
I have an HP Envy 5660, and love its user-friendly, reliable functioning, but the HP ink racket has got to stop. Since my first HP back in 2005, I've got nothing but 5-10 printings until the cartridges just dry up, and back I go, and $60+ more, I get more cartridges. Please stop the rip off.

To be honest, I was a little hesitant when ordering direct from HP instead of Amazon. I expected longer ship times, higher prices, and an overall slow process. That was NOT the case! Not only did the ink come in less than 3 days, but I was given a follow-up coupon for future purchases immediately after (Amazon certainly won't do that). You've got me, HP. I will continue to purchase all printing and ink products directly from you in the future.

All the cartridges that I bought from HP work well but they are very expensive I bought my last cartridge last month and my new 62XL cartridge is still sitting on my old printer I replaced my HP printer with a tank style printer. Tag printer works well the color is not as good as the HP but almost and I'm satisfied. HP makes a good printer but if you're sick of replacing cartridges you can buy a tank printer.

Ink quality that won’t let you down!
Purchasing my ink from hP is convenient and fast (one day shipping). I’m thrilled when I receive notifications that my ink choice has a discount when promoted. Honestly I tried one of that discount ink refilling service ONCE and IT WAS ABSOLUTELY A WASTE OF MONEY! Yeah it was cheap but by golly I got what I paid for....no quality!

This was my first refill and HP sent me 62XL instead of 64XL. My printer is HP Emvy Photo 7100 series. I placed it in the printer and it wouldn't work. I sent it to HP in the photo envelope and I had to go to Best Buy to replace and yes 64 works.

This cartridge is super easy to install. The XL usually lasts six months or so in my home use. The ink is stable, long lasting, non-fading.

Ink Purchase
I purchase a ink cartridge when I install a new one. This allows me to not have to wait for the delivery of the new cartridge when I am in the middle of a project. I always seem to run out of ink when I am in a hurry to meet a deadline. The purchase is easy to do from home.

This black printer cartridge is SO BIG, but it fits the TINY SLOT for it So Well! The color just exudes "Bad Boy!" And the XL output--OMG the output! My white paper just lays there and takes that output in! This cartridge is the BEST at PRINT JOBS.

HP needs to revamp this program as far as the signing up for it goes. I gave up on it because I found it too frustrating to complete. So I'm paying full price when I s/b getting a discount.

Cartridge Was A Dud!!!!
Bought cartridge to replace one that had run out of ink. Received promptly as normal. Installed into printer and continued to receive out of ink message on display. Turned off printer, turned on printer, same results. Went to HP support followed suggested procedure, still did not work. Got in car, went to office supply store got same cartridge placed in printer and it is working fine. I have a full HP62XL printer that is a DUD and am out $39+.

The service is good, the product works well. However, you charge the same price as the retail stores so why should I buy direct? What is the advantage? If I go to the store I get your product the same day, if I buy online I have to wait a week and the cost is the same?

Always been a HP fan...but was sort of dismayed that the day after this purchase arrived....I also got your email stating that one of the best printers I have ever owned was no longer covered for parts and repairs....(maybe 3 years or so old)

The HP inks I have purchased are very high quality and produce excellent results within the hardcopy and photos. The free, and very fast shipping, is also a great convenience. I especially appreciate the free returnable/recycle shipping bags which make for a better environment. The only negative comment I can make is that the inks tanks are expensive in my opinion.
