Ink smudging problem
The ink is smudging. Any moisture on my fingers the ink spreads. Why is this happening? I had bought hp 63 original ink before this from Costco and the same thing happened. I thought that happened may be it was fake ink. Now o bought ink directly from HP and yet again the ink is smudging. Can anyone tell me why the ink is smudging when there's moisture? Thanks.

INCORRECT CARTRIDGE- BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
I received both my black and tri colored cartridges, the black was good but the tricolor was the incorrect cartridge. So called, spoke with one of your customer rep who told me that Ami the rep needed to talk to me to make sure I was installing it correctly but it could not be installed cause it was the wrong one, in the right box but wrong cartridge. I explained that and asked to send me the correct one and I would send the wrong one back in which your rep agreed to do. But nothing has been received and it’s been a few weeks. So what do I think of your service. I don’t it stinks.

Needed for an unusual situation
I subscribe to Instant Ink for my 3 HP inkjet printers. For some reason, I had not used one of them enough and the two ink cartridges dried out. Despite trying to clean them, they still would not work. I did not know how to ask HP to ship me new cartridges when the printer was still reporting them having a good supply of ink. Therefore, I ordered a colour and a B+W cartridge to restore the printer to action.

Love the convenience of shopping at home, but was surprised the day after installing and printing fewer than 10 pages of just a simple typed document, that I started going “low ink” messages ! A cartridge usually lasts a whole lot longer than that ! It still prints, but the warning freaked me out a bit.

Ordering direct from HP was very disappointing.
I had issues with this cartridge and had to use the "clean cartridge" function on my printer several times in order for it to print correctly. I also had problems with the ordering process for this cartridge (but that's another story and I doubt there is enough room here to recount it all).

This ink came just when I needed it,quite quickly I may add. It also came with an envelope which holds 3 to 8 cartridges. Mine 8. It's not only self addressed but you don't need to apply postage. Dries up and is costly
We print infrequently but when we go to use it there is always a problem with it saying the ink is empty or does not print with any quality. We have to print test pages and then sometimes it will start printing. The HP 63 are in the upper price range comparably and seems to be lots of wasted money on what use you actually get out of them if you leave it sit for a few weeks without printing.

I purchased this cartridge after going on the HP website and looking up what type(number) cartridge I needed for my printer, it said 63 I purchased it. After waiting almost 3 weeks for it to arrive I put it in my printer only to find out ITS NOT COMPATIBLE!!! I’m so disappointed I wound up going on Amazon and getting my refills, and they arrived the next day and were cheaper. Moral of the story I will NEVER order from HP again.

Printer was easy to set up to just print but the other features like scanning and faxing was difficult. I had to research the instructions on the web as they do not come with manuals anymore like in the past. Already used one ink cartridge in less than 1 month. Do not sign up for automatic ink replacement not worth your money.

The ink will not register in the printer. Did all of the recommended procedures to reset and reload, chatted with tech to help, complete hassle to even try to get the information to return. After searching the web for a good deal, I was able to find an original HP 63 black ink cartridge at an acceptable cost which is rather a rare find. The ink cartridge works great and I would buy original HP ink cartridges regularly if the prices were compatible with the knock off brands.

The last cartridge I purchased from HP was a dud. I didn't even print 25 pages and it died. I made one more purchase...this time a high yield. If this happens again, I will no longer be purchasing my toner ink from HP. When I purchase from HP I expect quality... Evidently what I got was some used, dried up cartridge. Hopefully this won't happen again, because I will no longer be buying from HP. This has never happened to me in all the years I've been buying ink from other vendors. not happy

I have used the black cartridge that came with the printer it seems for a long time. I do NOT print real often and did not keep a page count, but compared to a different printer and ink for it, this was much better. The catches that hold the cartridge in place do not work real easy but was acceptable. The best feature is the price ... and to not forget the free delivery. My black cartridge was a few cents cheaper than Walmart, but it comes to my door very fast. (No gas money driving to Wally-world.)

HP63 Black Original Ink cartridge
This cartridge fits my printer. I was out of ink and had to buy a new cartridge. This is the one that was necessary. It works. Ink cartridges are very expensive in my opinion but when you are out of ink you have to get a new one if you want to print. Really there is not much to rate.

The ink cartridge did not print
The ink cartridge states that it will print 190 pages. We printed 97 pages and the printer stopped printing black. The majority of the pages were printed text. So, not heavy ink users. We thought this was just a defective cartridge. But, the second cartridge ran about the same amount of pages.

I AM GOING NUTS WITH MY OFFICEJET 4650
Ever since I downloaded a new version of my iOS (10.14.1) my wireless connection does not work. And there is no one at HP to talk to except a Virtual Support person that is hopeless. My printer is just a year old. Best Buy suggests I get a Geek in for $100.00 - almost the price of the printer. I suggest you rethink your customer service and not your bottom line and start providing better systems to help customers with interfacing issues.

I bought 2 of these products which claimed to print 190 pages. One of them did 58 pages and the other printed 63.
I thought HP made ink cartridges that were "long-lasting" which is marked on the box. These weren't marked that way. Still working on getting a refund

I just bought this. It is purely for a home printer. We have no business out of our home and we’re barely using this at all. After I printed maybe five sheets it says it’s low on ink. The HP ink cartridges give good quality copies, but in my experience do not produce anywhere near the 190 pages that is claimed, even doing just basic one page typed letters (no pictures). In my opinion, these cartridges should be retested and a more accurate estimate given. Otherwise, I have had no problems with HP ink cartridges.

I normally run over to the local office store for ink and overlay for even the generic brand. I tried the order feature on my printer and was amazed how easy to use since it knew the specific ink I needed and was a reasonable price with free shipping. Awesome!

I bought this printer in 2018. Have had to replace ink cartridges regularly since it went out of warranty. And I do very little printing. Recently after the notification that ink needed replacing again, I bought two more ink cartridges from HP and still got the notification. Tech support says nothing they can do and I need to replace.

The mixing of both black and color is perfect.

Had to get ink. Printer without ink isn't a printer. I had tried other inks that claimed to work like a 63. They did not. Your electronic protection is very good. So, like Mr. Gillette, you have me. I will have to buy more. But you certainly get more than enough money.

Replacing the ink my HP OfficeJet couldn't have been easier. The website identified exactly what I needed and I received it the day after I ordered it (which was sooner than expected). The cartridges work well and last fairly long if you use the draft print mode. At first they can be a bit tricky to install if you are not used to them. I got a 30 percent off through a special offer so it was cheaper to go through the HP site than the local office supply store.

I spent probably about an hour trying to figure out how to sign up for an ink subscription service with hp only to find out I have to print a page from my printer in order to set that up...BUT I DIDN'T HAVE ANY INK! So I just ordered a single cartridge and gave up on the subscription. I am pleased with my single cartridge purchased but annoyed about the subscription service.

Ink is wasted during cleaning of the printer heads. Even while using just gray scale or black and white, the color ink is used when the heads are cleaned. (when starting the printer) It's good ink, just a waste that costs me $$$

New cartridges work great, but I've tried the economy, original and the bulk cartridges and all have dried up when I get just below 50% ink capacity. I've performed the clean cartridges task as well as the deep clean, but neither helped. Any suggestions to get lasting results would be appreciated.

I received this on 4/21/2020 and installed it. Today I see that the ink level is below half. I have only printed about 6 or 7 pages. My printer hasn't been working and I tried to investigate and found the ink level so low. Not very happy with it at all.

I've been buying HP cartridges #63 both economy and standard supplies. I can never get up to stated pages printed about 190 at a cost of $19.88 for a cartridge. Yield is mis-stated. I printed about 90-100 pages over a 6 month period. I got about 52% yield. I called customer service to rep[ort product F6U62A from Malaysia does not print as what is claimed. I keep buying these cartridges for I need them but not satisfied with yield.

HP products are fine, at least the ink is. What annoys me is that HP makes printers that only work with HP ink and paper. Then a less-than-1yr-old printer puts out errors (out of paper) which are false. Ink does no good when the printer won't work! I'm not a technician, I can't understand directions to possible solve problem. Time for different name-brand printer, last 3 HP's quit in under 1 yr. Below I'm rating the printer, not ink.

This HP ink cartridge was purchased to replace one that I bought at a place that refills ink cartridges (although I'm not sure they actually refill). Anyway, the ink in that cartridge did fine briefly, then I had to use on the "best" printing setting to get a copy, then even that didn't work. This HP cartridge is so much better and is all I will buy from now on. And the HP even cost a few dollars less!

great upgrade from my first Chromebook
I bought this to replace an older Chromebook and I am pretty happy with it. I only have one complaint. There is no HDMI socket. I bought an adapter to go from USB to HDMI to run my separate monitor and have yet to get my monitor to work. As you can see, no picture on monitor. Other than that, I am really happy with my new Chromebook.

I needed a new ink cartridge and decided to use the HP app. I downloaded it and synced my printer. Told it what I was looking to buy. It must have double checked to identify my computer and the correct cartridge. I ordered using the app and a few days later my new ink cartridge arrived. It was easy to take out the old one and place the new one. Bonus, there was a prepaid bag to return the old cartridge for disposal or refurbishing.

The 63 cartridge I bought is supposed to good for 160 pages of print. I printed 83 pages and it ran out of ink. This is the second time this has happened so I am not happy.

Wrong size recommended
I was out of black ink I replant with one from my HP box then said to reinstall the ink. I eventually gave up thought I must have done something. I went on line a d ordered one from the website based on their recommendations for my HP ink jet #63. When it arrived I installed the ink and again kept saying reinstall ink error and would not function. I ended up buying #64 which works correctly. I have now had purchace ink twice when I should have had the correct size automatically mailed to me since I pay for the monthly subscription and ita the 1st time I've needed ink extremely unhappy

Yield does not justfy the cost. It goes by the no. of pages instead of the amount of ink. I still have ink left when my printer shows me how much is left in the cartridge...yet because of the no of pages...I cannot use all the ink.

The cartridge was put in correctly. I performed the alignment process and additional pages were printed. Every time I want to copy a document the “request to align”. appears. I do no know if it is the fault of the cartridge or the printer. This has never happened to me before. I have not rated the product since I am not sure what is the cause.

I have been purchasing the ink from HP for my old Printer. Well I ordered the ink HP said would fit my printer and installed it. My old printer does not recognize it and says cartridge missing. I am so frustrated I purchased a new Printer from HP. I tried to install the printer to my PC. The printer did not come with a cable to hook the printer to PC and therefore I can not download the program to get the new printer to work. I am an 81 year old woman and can not just run out and buy a cable for it so here I sit with no printer still. I am going to purchase from another company and see if it turns out any better. Thank you for nothing.

The Printer Ink Was As Advertised - It Was Ink
When we purchased our HP printer last year we purchased an extra large size of the 63 printer ink as a backup. And by the time that we used the extra large size of 63 printer ink, it didn’t work - it had dried up. So we drove to OfficeMax and they didn’t have any 63 ink on their shelves. So from OfficeMax we drove to Best Buy and there was a line outside the store waiting to get in so we drove home. And at home we found the HP Store website on line and ordered two cartridges of the small size 63 ink cartridges. And it worked just like printer ink is supposed to work. We are satisfied.

Ink cartridges.
I have an HP printer so I use HP ink cartridges. Each time I turn on my printer it goes through the motions and blips my cartridges. It also invades my desktop to tell me It loves me for using original ink cartridges. Ahg. It wastes my ink and tells me something I don't need to know.

I have purchased discounted and refurbished ink cartridges in the past and have varying degrees of success. Trying to save a few bucks has caused me to experience printing issues as well as cartridges that ran out of ink very fast. After purchasing the authentic HP cartridges I realize that they always work perfectly, never an issue and therefore I will always purchase authentic HP cartridges in the future. There's simply no replacement for HP certified products.

I bought the HP 63 cartridge to replace an HP 63 XL cartridge that didn't print characters at the beginning or ends of some lines on every page. After a few months since the HP 63 XL cartridge prints correctly I haven't installed the HP 63 cartridge.

Overall better print quality being they are factory cartridges. However the factory cartridges do not last as long as the knock offs. Granted the quality is better they are not as economically satisfying as there knock off counterparts.

The process of ordering my 3 cartridges was very easy and I received them via FedEx in just a couple days. I needed 2 black cartridges and since a pack of two was unavailable, I was forced to purchase two single packs which cost me more money. Also, in my opinion, the cost of the cartridges are higher than what they should be, especially since I have been a customer of HP products for years.

I bought the HP 63 ink cartridge because the HP 63 XL ink cartridge didn't print characters at the ends and beginnings of some lines after I used it only briefly. I'm still using the HP 63xl ink cartridge. since I haven't used the HP 63 cartridge I can't really rate it. I'll give it an arbitrary rating when required.
