I usually have to reorder either the black or tricolor cartridge every time I need to print because the ink dries out. Even after performing all maintenance tips, the only way to receive a quality print job is to replace the cartridge. This issue did not occur for my previous HP printer. Time to find a different brand

Also, I don't use the color ink that much but with the purchase I got a sample of the colored ink. Once it ran out I was ok. But then I found out you have to have ink in both. NOT FAIR

All the other wireless printers I’ve used are really easy to find with my device and it’s a couple of clicks to made a copy. I wish I would have gotten a different copier that works

Once I bought my own cartridges I discovered I needed special "start up" cartridges. The best you could do was to tell me to return the printer. But I had thrown away all the packing materials. All I want is someone to send me start up cartridges but that seems impossible. This was YOUR fault not mine. Can you please send me start up cartridges.

I bought a new HP printer, the Envy series and the ink that came with it, the tri color was OK, but the black faded out after a little more than halfway through the cartridge.I used the cleaning tool and it seemed OK until the next time i used the printer and the black was faded out again. I always print out a test page every few days to keep the ink from drying up but the black still faded anyway.I installed the new black cartridge a few days ago and I'll keep checking it to see if it fades out too.

It has always done this so I had my Canon printer cleaned and as soon as the HP runs out of ink again I will send it to the bone yard. I can buy ink for the Canon cheaper and it lasts longer.

I had been with InstantInk but did not print enough to make it worthwhile. I let the subscription lapse; then HP put a freeze on my printer and I could not print unless I either restarted the subscription or bought new cartridges. No consideration was given despite my HP history. Locking me out of my own printer was not necessary and a bit of overreach. It did not make me very happy and then the delivery of the new cartridges was not as fast as promised. I still like my HP printer as well as my HP Laptops (I have two), just not happy with the way I was treated by the InstantInk folks.

When you first turn it on it connects to the network perfectly. However after printing a document if you try to print a second document you have to recycle the printer. So the printer is awful. Total waste of money

If you stop paying for the automatic printer refill, (and even if you buy HP print cartigages from the HP website as I did) then the printer looses many of its features. It no longer prints remotely from a computer unless you push buttons each time on the printer when you send something to print. Spent over an hour with their tech support people from India who did not fix the problem.

It arrived quickly and worked perfectly till the problem with the Instant Ink cartridge was solved. The original ink is there when you need it, and the HP Store always has it.

I recently checked my ink supply on my HP printer and replaced my black with 64xl , at the time of replacement my color supply was at 75%full. Once I replaced the black 64 xl the ink supply for color was not available and would not print in color. I had no alternative but to purchase this Tri color cartridge. You tell me what happened???????

Initially, I ordered a set of larger cartridges to maximize my time between changes. The printer accepted the black but would not accept the larger capacity color. I replaced the old one and ordered a regular. Hope to try and succeed to replace it this weekend. A color capable printer (new) is useless if it won’t accept cartridges for whatever reason. I am completely capable of following directions. Most disappointing to find this issue after year of HP use.

My order was placed the first week of OCTOBER and now it is November 14 and it still hasn't arrived. I contacted your customer service two weeks ago and they said they would check into it and get back to me. I still haven't heard a word. I could have gone to my local Staples store for ink, but thought I'd give you a try and how can I ever risk ordering again? To top it all off they have already billed me. This is the worst service I have encountered from anyone.

Lasts ok, except one time when printer said ink was still there, but it would not come out. Had to stop to take out cartridge to get ink going again. Finally gave up and replaced. Have no way of knowing how well it lasts compared to other makers. The first set the colors were not so great, but subsequent cartridges have been fine. Just wish ink were not so expensive no matter who makes it.

I bought a new HP printer, the Envy series and the ink that came with it, the tri color was OK, but the black faded out after a little more than halfway through the cartridge.I used the cleaning tool and it seemed OK until the next time i used the printer and the black was faded out again. I always print out a test page every few days to keep the ink from drying up but the black still faded anyway.I installed the new black cartridge a few days ago and I'll keep checking it to see if it fades out too.

The print quality is just not good - my old machine was was well worn and still had better copies. 2. The machine goes to sleep and I have to turn of power and turn it back on again to get the machine to work. We don't do a lot of copies, maybe that has something to do with it.

Fortunately the actual cartridge was not damaged. Suggestion: ship your cartridges in small boxes, not bubble bags. Amazon and WalMart use boxes and no issues. Smart to add the better packaging to protect the product.

The last cartridges I used worked fine. I'm frustrated because I have to print my Income Tax Forms out and get them in the mail. Please help if you can!

I have been printing black and white and when I decided to print in color, the printer inform the cartridge is low on ink. I didn't even finished printing out my documents because the color ink was low. It doesn't make sense for the color cartridge to be low on ink on the first try! Has never happened before.

Went to go and use it today, and now the printer is reporting the cartridge is empty and has to be replaced. Can't get through to any type of rep to get a replacement, or even know what is going on... A total waste of money and time.

I have had the tech people take over my desktop and perform their service but it only lasts a short while. Also the cartridges run out quickly. This is a brand new machine. This also was an issue with my old HP printer. I thought it would be gone now. I use HP paper as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The ink works.... I bought 3 cartridges a month ago and I’m on my last one. This is by far the worst printer I’ve ever had. It’s finnicky, doesn’t like to respond the my devices a lot of the time, randomly prints things and stops halfway through only to reprint halfway. I use so much ink bc the printer sucks so bad. I had a presentation that I needed 30copies of. Ink ran out (new cartridge) part of the way through but yet after cancelling in order to change the cartridge, it wouldn’t cancel, proceeded to print pages 1-10 wasting ink and paper like no other. I think This printer wasted 2 cartridges by screwing up my printing projects. Also, slowest ever. In short, waste of time, money, paper, ink and patience. Avoid this product!!!!!!

For some reason past ones have lasted an average of a month, and I wonder if the quality control is terrible and I just got the bad cartridge or this really does not last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cartridge dri out when not in use for while. I dont have a problem with your ink it works well but the cartridge dries and then will not print. I had to buy the new cartridge because the double ink one has now stopped printing and its still full. the black quit working altogether and says its not installed correctly but it is. I have taken it in and out and i have tried cleaning the contacts on both cartridges and yet they still do not print. The color only lightly prints and not all the colors. I have tried all cleaning techniques the machine offers. it just wastes paper and color ink. I am beginning to think that is what was intended as this is not the first time this has happened and i had to replace good cartridges because they dried. I will soon have bought enough ink to buy a new printer. I think i will try another brand this time. I have purchased 5 HP printers over the years.

After doing this several times with the same result I removed the defective and replaced it with another new one which works fine. I am now stuck with a brand new ink cartridge which is no good. Will you replace for me? If so do I have return the defective one?

That one lasted for maybe 12 prints. What a waste of money. I should return everything and continue to have Office Depot do my printing. They are cheaper and their printing quality is better. What a disappointment

Color is good though. I would recommend this cartridge to a friend but not my HP 7855 Envy printer!

It is constantly out of alignment and we have to remove the ink cartridges and reinsert them each time we print. Sometimes that doesn't even work. I am not a fan of single cartridge color as when you deplete one of the colors, that cartridge is finished. It is impossible to find someone to work on an inkjet printer and even worse to try to get HP customer service. I know this will not be published, but I cannot find any other way to express my dissatisfaction!
