I was extremely disappointed in results using the document feeder. Each copy was misaligned with lines of text that were distorted. Tried several times with same result. See attached photo which is representative of every feeder scan attempted so far..

I was disappointed that I paid as much or more than I do at Sam's (where I can walk in and purchase them and have them immediately). My biggest disappointment was the length of time it took for me to receive the cartridges. I became, literally, out of ink before I finally received the cartridges. From now on I will purchase them from somewhere OTHER THAN HP. Also, I purchased the XL and without running that many pages through on the new cartridge, the color ink was empty. I believe it was not filled to capacity and I paid entirely too much for such little use.

I understand that the “trial” cartridges have very little ink. Then I ordered the high-yield cartridges. My new printer informed me that they would print approximately 165 pages. After 45-50 pages the colors were completely wrong & the printer said it needed new cartridges! Big difference between 165 and 50 pages. Not happy at all!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color We just installed the color cartridges that we received. Based on past performance, we expect many beautiful prints from these cartridges as well. That's definitely not what we got from the plain 64 tri-color cartridge that we were forced to buy, when we couldn't find any 64 XL cartridges pretty much anywhere in the Denver area, and ended up ordering 64 XL directly from you. We got fewer than two dozen true color images from it before it pretty much turned out green. How disappointed we were at that! We expected much more than that from an HP product. We look forward to much better results from these 64 XL ones.

It is certainly more expensive but in the long run less frustrating to not have to constantly order ink. This particular order took longer to receive than normal. Regarding this survey, it would be better if HP were to add a feature for users to add PRO's and CON's rather than the ones that they have offered.

I really don’t think XL makes much of a difference.Its way cheaper to buy prints then it’d to do it yourself..

I like to buy larger quantities of ink so as not to run out. This ink is very long lasting. I do think cartridge ink on a whole has become very expensive. The printers are becoming cheaper than the ink it takes to keep them going. Something wrong with that picture. But that’s my only complaint I will never leave HP!

I love that I can print from my phone, it’s fast, sturdy and allows me to change paper types easily without fuss. I pr Me all for my home business. I haven’t had very good luck trying to print photos.. it’s been complicated and they’ve come out wrong. But I don’t know why I would want to print photos at home anyway. Easier to send them to Costco. It takes so much ink to print at home and the ink is Soo expensive. I am used to buying the “Arthur” discounted brand of ink on amazon for my previous printer which was awesome! So affordable! I could print everything at home! But I think because this printer and ink are so new, there isn’t a cheaper generic brand available yet.

Two cartridges cost more than the printer. The last two HP printers I owned just quit printing Black ink even with new cartridges direct from HP. The companion black ink is excellent and lasts forever. At the price of this ink am forced to look at competitors products to replace what is becoming a very expensive situation.

When I ran out of ink, I needed to print immediate documents so I went out and bought replacement cartridges. However, the printer wouldn't allow me to print until I received a new batch from Instant Ink. Not good customer service I'd say!

The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because when the printer says I need to replace a cartridge it still seems to show quite a bit of ink that I could use. It doesn't show empty, however the printer quits printing so I guess it is.

When it arrived the box was dented and there were several small plastic chips in the box but the printer looked new. I started the setup process but the printer would not function. After repeated attempts I called HP solutions and was told the code displayed meant the printer had a hardware problem and to return it to the seller.

It works well; I get good color prints; there is little more to say…except I wish they were bigger, would last longer and weren't so expensive…but then I figure most folks would agree. But, the printer appears to be fine though I haven't used all the tools and features of it yet. My concern is that I haven't received my 3 year warranty document from HP yet. The warranty was in the purchased cost of the Envy Photo Printer 7855. I've received a couple of updates, but when checking printer information it say this printer is no long in warranty, which is in error. I must get this corrected, and my purchased receipt is proof of warranty. If you can attend to this, I'd appreciate you doing so. If not, I attend to it soon.

For the first time ever, I had a problem with this ink When I installed it, It said please reinstall, so I did and it said the same thing I reinstalled the old cartridge and it installed perfectly, just out of ink. Tri-color cartridge would not work at all. Had to buy another regular size color cartridge in order to keep printing. Money down the drain. Please don't stop making toner for this printer like you did with some of my other printers. I love HP printers and that is all I own. I had the HP PhotoSmart printer that I loved the best and it was still working but couldn't get the toner for it and I lost it in the Hurricane in 2018. That was the best for printing only photos.

Years ago I tried the " el cheapo " inks from WalMart and some other copycat discounts. They clogged my printer head, which you cannot clean, and must buy a new printer. Ever since then I have stayed with HP printers, computers, monitors, keypads, inks, and paper of all types. It is best said like " Hallmark ", " When You Care Enough to Send the Very Best ". " I Care enough to spend the very best and get what I pay for " Quality results, and money well spent.

It was a good price, only $10 more than Costco, and I bought the extended warranty and signed up for the automatic ink program that best reflected my printing needs. I am absolutely thrilled with this printer. It replace my 8 year-old HP 7250 that finally died. I'm glad it died because it required five cartridges and, of course, none ever ran out of ink at the same time. So, I seemed to have a continuous inventory of cartridges. It was a nuisance. The new 7855 has two cartridges, to my eyes, the color looks just as good for both documents and photos, and I don't have to ever worry about running out of ink. All this for just $5 a month. I love it!!

Their color seem so much more brilliant than the 933’s I used to buy. I do find the price a little high for the amount of ink but I bet it’s me using more than I realize. Bought a new HP printer, and found out that an ink cartridge holds about 2 drops of ink, and costs nearly as much as a 2019 BMW M8 Coupe. Looking for a new printer now.

HP would not give me a refund because you only accept unopened ink. How was I to know of this change? And what am I supposed to do now? Buy a new printer. I will not be recommending HP to my friends because your printer will only be good for a limited time when you decide to make it obsolete and useless by not providing ink

Then HP cancels my order of the black ink and ONLY sends me the color ink without giving me the option of whether I still want to purchase or not. I could have gotten the color ink in a local store WITHOUT shipping costs so I would have most definitely cancelled that order. Now I’m still in search of the black ink.

I live in on the island of Kauai in the State of Hawaii. Not many stores here carry HP ink and the pandemic has slowed supply. Order from April installed today and the color and black & white cartridges are throwing an error that they are incompatible. I have a case number and was disconnected after 40 minutes and then told I was switched to Canada and then switched to the US and a recording came on and said they are closed - total waste of almost two hours today and still no resolution for tri color and black and white HP 64 ink that I spent $68.92 for - unbelievable

One cartridge arrived about 10 days after ordering. So much for 2-8 days delivery. The other part had no delivery date at all. Finally got another notice that it was on a TRAILER (Somewhere). NO Delivery Date. Finally get a estimated delivery date. They could have used overnight delivery to make up for the delays, but, NO. Still waiting, and they want to know how I liked the Cartridge?

Now my printer does not work and I had to buy another cartridge which I ordered from Staples. Hopefully when I get the cartridge from Staples I can get my printer back up and running.

I was very disappointed after spending close to $50.00 for a cartridge that stopped working after one use.  My printer is working find without any problems and the other Cartridge works fine.  I still have the defective cartridge if you would like to have it.

Like razors and blades, buy the tool cheaply, and then get killed with the blades/refills. Competitors that are cheaper are lining up, but their quality remains questionable, especially with refillables. Not so with HP. You will get what you want, but not necessarily what you pay for. .

On January 18th, (after I had replaced the cartridges twice) I took it back to Best Buy because it would not stop printing randomly. I had uninstalled the app and reinstalled it on my phone and my Mac. I tried to do the online support and could not get this issue resolved within an hour. I am not happy and I still don't have a printer/scanner that works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cartridge won't work I loaded a replacement cartridge into my HP ENVY Photo 7155 as I have many times. The printer worked fine for a few copies. Then an error message appeared saying the color cartridge needs to be removed and reinstalled. That didn't fix the problem so I went thru the online troubleshooting process. That didn't fix the problem either and I received a case number. Now I can't get the folks at HP Customer Service to pick up my call for help. On hold three separate times for over an hour. It seems they don't care. I may need to go Epson or Xerox to see what they offer.

Tried cleaning, reinstalling. HP said they would replace it. Meanwhile I bought a cartridge and it worked. Put the original HP cartridge back in and still had no cyan. Put new cartridge in and it worked. Later had to replace the cartridge and the new one I bought would not print cyan. Searched on the internet and found lots of people complaining about the HP64 tri-color cartridge and no cyan. Seems to be a problem with their cartridge. It also gets relatively few pages out of a cartridge )and no I am not printing photos or images).

I have two HP printers and I will say honestly that my antique one the HP 2540 does not use ink up as quickly. My new printer is an Envy 7164 and I have not signed up for instant ink yet. My printing schedule is irregular so I do not know how quickly I will use up the cartridges. I love the new Envy!!!

Where I live in a small town in interior of Alaska, there is no home delivery of mail and only ups or fedex delivery. Very slow. All print the same in pink because there is no cyan ink as per diagnostic. Customer service beyond frustrating. Different people in India asking to repeat the same thing and making you do things over and over. 2 printers, 3 sets of cartridges and I still can’t print my flyers…
