I am pleased with the performance of both. The order process, delivery and setup went smoothly. Within the past year we acquired an additional two HP laptops for use in the field. These two laptops replaced older HP units. This makes us a 66% HP outfit. Without question, future replacements will be HP. These are all good units and, based on their performance, are a value buy.

Signing up for the ink package could have been a little more intuitive but just takes a bit of patience. Also, was a bit confused regarding the warrenty which went through Stables and Asurian rather than HP so need to learn more about how that works. But as far as printing quality and speed go, the printer works just as expected.

I was worried about cost of ink but the color and durability of my HP6600 far out shines any cost per copy that I might be missing out on. I love the feature that printer tells me to make sure I have Ink cartridge on hand and what color is getting low. What a great feature. Used properly this feature will reduce the stress of running out of ink in the middle of the evening. Especially when you are trying to finish a project that has a deadline.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasts, and Lasts . . . . I used to get my ink cartridges refilled because I thought it was cheaper. What I got was poor quality ink and the cartridges didn't last as long. Now I just order my ink from HP directly and get quality ink that comes in full cartridges. It might cost a little more, but it's worth it. Like the free next day (if necessary) shipping too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is a good product but the price is too high. Good product but the price is too high. I expect the price per b/w page to be no more than 2 cents. I expect the price per color page to be no more than 4 cents. That means your ink is over priced by about 40%.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from XL Ink review Considering my printer is set to print black only and I have only had the cartridge inserted for 2 weeks max and never used color ink - I am already down 1/2 way on yellow! I don't use my printer but maybe a page a week and that is in black ink! So where is the ink for the newly inserted colors going?? Also, I cannot print unless I keep inserting the colored ink cartridges as they disappear! I think HP and their remote intrusion and monitoring of ink in printers is a rip off!

This is a trait I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. When it takes about $20 to replace a cartridge, this is very expensive, and in my opinion, unnecessary.

Shipping is fantastic, free, next day delivery and the lowest prices I've seen anywhere. The ink lasts twice as long as the regular cartridge with just a minimal price increase. I do cards and these inks last forever!

I do wish my printer would tell me when I'm running low on ink though as I was totally surprised when the printer screen said I now had to print in 'Black only'. It didn't even say the cyan cartridge was the problem, I had to figure that out myself. Disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product fine -- unremarkable Would have been useful to have included a clear-cut instruction sheet, letting the purchaser know that every time new cartridges are installed, one should go thru the cleaning process in order to achieve good printing. I didn't discover that till I wasted a few sheets of paper getting bad, spotty printouts. Fortunately I'd asked a computer tech person to make a house call for other reasons, and he showed me how to do it. After 3 test runs, the printing looked good and now is consistently coming out great. It dismayed me at first, as I thought there was something badly wrong with the printer!

Lucky if our office got half of that out of the cartridge before having to order more. Switched from an off-brand, much cheaper product to HP ordered directly from HP.com, thinking that spending the extra money would get us a better yield but that has absolutely not been the case. Disappointed.

I like the XL ones because you get more for less in the long run. they last, they live up to their name, and even when your machine tells you the ink is low, you still have plenty in there to keep you going in case you do not have a replacement on hand. and since HP ships so quickly, you NEVER have to worry about depleting completely.

I order, and my supplies are shipped right to my home very quickly. The price is not more than buying in the store, and you can`t beat the convenience of the delivery service. I would recommend HP ink supplies to anyone that owns an HP printer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Problem with printer color I replaced the Magenta cartridge and my printer printed the yellow in green. Yellow cartridge was low so I put a new yellow cartridge in. Same problem. Then I put in another new Magenta cartridge. Same problem. Put printer through all the print head set up routines with no change. Now I have 2 new Magenta and Yellow cartridges open and 1 other new Magenta cartridge that I cannot use. I have replace the printer with a new HPOfficeJet Pro 8710. I now have a bunch of new 933XL and a black XL cartridge that I can not use. Lot of money I wasted. Hope the new printer holds up.

What I can't stand is my HP Printer won't allow me to print in "Black ink Only" when one of my other colored cartridges runs out of ink. I'll never buy an HP Printer again because of this feature. I can print in black only as long as one of the other cartridges hasn't run out of ink yet.
