HP 935 Creator Wireless Mouse for Business is rated 3.30 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Customizable and convenient! I'm primarily an Apple user and use a Magic Mouse daily, but recently have been using the HP Creator mouse for testing when I switched back to PC for work. It's been about 5 months of use, and I can say this mouse helped make the adoption switch easier. The program you need to install to start customizing is user-friendly and easy to use. Battery life is pretty great too! Unlike the Magic Mice, you can still use the mouse while you're plugged into the USB C port to charge, so that is a big (logical) plus! Connect up to 3 devices (1 via the usb dongle and 2 via bluetooth). One thing I have not mastered yet on the customized controls is the scroll wheel, but that may just be user error. All in all, this is a great productivity purchase and I do recommend. I like it so much for daily creating that I even bought the mouse in black for my dad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointing Fit and Functionality of HP Mouse The HP mouse didn't fit comfortably in my hand. The placement of the buttons is a bit too far for an average hand size, making them somewhat difficult to press. Even when pressing the buttons at the far end of the mouse, it felt heavier compared to other mice I've used. Overall, I was disappointed with it. I tried it out, then put it back in the box, and despite trying it again a couple of times, I decided to keep it stored away. I would be very pleased if I could return it, use credit to purchase a different product, or get a refund if possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight full sized wireless mouse, works with Linux (Pop!_OS) Bought this mouse, for the HP Dev One laptop, long after the laptop was no longer sold by HP (which is based on the Elitebook 845 G8). Mouse was being offered alongside the Dev One, but I didn't get it then. You may buy later down the road, like me. Mouse Configurator (from System76's APT repo, specific for Pop!_OS) still works, even though its first & only release was in June 2022. Mouse is relatively lightweight for a full sized mouse. Sensor's "light" is either not visible to the human eye or shuts itself off very precisely when lifted away from horizontal surface. I think this mouse is pretty ergonomic given everything about it. If you have the space, then you can carry this mouse around in a backpack (though you may want to make your own custom carry case to transport this mouse around like that). Based on everything, mouse works straight out of the box. No need to deal with drivers. Mouse Configurator recognizes this mouse as the grey-colored 930 model variant. I'm guessing this model can also work with Mouse Configurator in Pop!_OS, but YMMV. The bottom has a magnetic lid that houses the USB sensor & reveals the regulatory info sticker. I haven't tested Bluetooth, but mouse seems to work with the USB radio transceiver. It can be difficult to pull out the transceiver when plugging it into the host computer/docking station, so be mindful & judicious about hand accessible clearance for the transceiver. Don't need unbroken visual direct line of sight for the mouse to work, though as always closer is better. (I have no idea if replacement/spare transceivers can be bought.) By the way, the included HP-branded USB cable is only capable of electric power. So, if you plug this mouse in with this USB cable, then you can only charge the mouse & nothing more. Allegedly, Mouse Configurator can be used to modify the mouse's settings via direct USB connection, but I haven't gotten this to happen yet. (Though honestly you only need a data-capable USB Type A to USB Type C cable for that.) Otherwise, the mouse's settings may be modified via radio transceiver or Bluetooth. For wireless modes, there are 3: 1 USB radio transceiver, and 2 Bluetooth channels. Most will be happy to use only the first Bluetooth channel, but I can't say much on this since I don't use Bluetooth. The scroll wheel has a notched exterior wheel that is metal and has a matte black texture. There is a physical button (i.e , it is a 2 mode physical push button switch) that modifies whether the scroll wheel motion is ratchet controlled and only moves discretely by each wheel notch; or moves smoothly & continuously with much less friction. I like the precise control of the former's discrete motion but the latter's smooth motion is much more pleasant to use. I sort of wish there was only 1 mode that combines both of these qualities for scroll wheel motion. Can't say too much on battery life, though it was completely dead when I first opened the box. Charging from 0% took less than 1 hour, that's for sure. Seemed quick enough. There is an LED light indicator that has 2 colors: orange for less than 90%, and white for +90%. This is just like the HP Dev One, & other HP laptops. If you need both a full-sized right-handed wireless mouse (both USB transceiver & 2 Bluetooth channels) and the mobility for on-the-go usage, especially on Linux, then this mouse is a good choice. The 930 model seems to be somewhat more available from in-person stores & seems to be essentially the same product, for practical all intents & purposes. Look out for discounts on this mouse or the silver 930 variant of this mouse & this is a solid deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Grip I like the size and shape of this mouse but the entire shell feels like cheap plastic. for a large mouse I prefer a material with a little grip to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dissatisfied HP Very disappointed with the purchase of; HP 970/975 keyboard, HP Creator mouse, and PolyV 4320 headset. All three keep dropping their Bluetooth connection. The mouse more than the others. I spent several hours on with the service desk and was unable to resolve these issues. I have a new computer Product number: 22U66AA#ABA Serial number: 8CC32610F3. I would like to return these items and receive a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly customizable. Comfortable. Easy to use. Highly customizable. Comfortable. Easy to use. The only reason for 4 out of a possible 5 stars is that it doesn't have the feel of quality I'd expect at this price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A well-built mouse, with some annoying quirks and omissions. I'm primarily a trackball user, but I keep a mouse around for specific use cases. I like pretty much this mouse, but there are a couple of really annoying things that would hold me back from truly recommending it. First, there's no button to change the DPI. Changing the DPI can only be done in the software. I haven't figured out how to do this yet on the HP Dev One. The other thing I really hate is the scroll wheel is too loose in free scrolling mode. It's so loose that the scroll wheel almost always spins ever so slightly backward when it comes to a rest. That means if I'm rapidly scrolling up a page to the top, once the wheel comes to a stop, it will most often roll back slightly and scroll the page back down a step or two. It's enormously frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Difficult to click. Mouse goes to sleep after short time and takes a while to wake.Bad battery life. Left and right click buttons take way too much force to click. Pretty much have to press at the top edges just to click and even then its still to hard to click. The rest of the buttons are quiet and easy to press though. The mouse seems to go to sleep about 5 minutes if untouched and takes a few seconds to wake every time. If you try and pair it with the HP975 keyboard dongle to save a usb port then it takes even longer to wake sometimes up to 10 seconds to wake. Its a pain to use, always have to move the mouse around for few seconds every time to use. Battery life is also terrible just like the HP 975 keyboard. Even with the agressive sleep mode on the mouse somehow barely lasts a week on full charge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a quality product The assembly quality is decent. The click is crisp like most HP mouses that I used before while folks who prefer softer clicks might find this one too hard. It is easy to recharge and thus saves some battery change/stock time and cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't review the product that I never received. It has been a month and still don't have the mouse. After several contact attempt with HP, they asked if I want refund or a replacement. Since I already bought the HP975 keyboard and wanted a mouse to pair with it, I asked for a replacement. What bothers me is that HP website showed shipped the next date after the order and even generated a tracking number but the tracking number never showed up on Fedex website. This whole process is so frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wireless Mouse I like this mouse because it is efficient and charges well but lasts pretty long between charges. The only thing is it is a little uncomfortable to hold for me--it could be the size of my hand in comparison to the size of the mouse. It seems to be a large reach for me.
