Wouldn't work and couldn't get a replacement.
When we first plugged in the machine it came up with a error code. After working through customer service, the machine couldn't be fixed remotely. HP requested we send it in for a replacement. 10 days after HP had received the original printer back we emailed HP enquiring why we hadn't received a replacement. We received an email that a replacement wasn't available and HP would be refunding our account, recommending we purchase the more expensive model. We reluctantly purchased the more expensive model.

Great printer!
I bought this printer about a week ago and have been quite happy. Print quality is great, speed is super. Easy to set up, easy to print labels and envelops. I added an additional tray, and I could see even adding another one so I can have 2 8 1/2 x 11 trays and a 8 1/2 x 14 tray. So far, I have no complaint except that the color of the additional tray doesn't come in matching blue, which seemed odd to me that you could pick from several colors, but not the blue that matches the rest of the machine.

Did not work for me.
This printer requires an additional accessory for it to work wirelessly. The sales agent at HP did not tell me that these accessories were out of stock, with no idea of when they would be available. So, I messed with it for a while before I contacted her and that is when she told me I needed to get an accessory that was not available. So, I tried to connect via USB cable, three cables actually, each one shorter than the last as the customer service agents kept telling me they were too long. The last cable was 3'. Finally got an ethernet cable that allowed my computer to "find" the printer, but it still wouldn't print properly. After 3 days of frustration, returned to HP. Kept my old printer, and purchased a scanner instead, which works great! I'm sure others are happy with this printer, but I think there was something wrong with the unit I received.
