Our IT people called HP and they said to unplug the printer during the error message and it would resolve the issue - it did not - it is a constant issue for which we have not had a solution to...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed We had issues printing from our Apple products. We spent 2 hours with HP support in order to make it work. It seems is not compatible with IOS 18. That was very disappointing since we never had before an issue on setting HP printers. To make it work with our Apple Products ( Mac, iPhone, iPads) we had to remove and install the HPsmart and print from there, which is one more step.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Well I am mostly pleased with the printer functioning. Set-up was a challenge. Instructions are minimal. It requires inputting an 8 digit number, but does not tell you where to find that number. The number comes up on the printer screen only at the time it is needed to input - and even then you have to scroll to find it. Since the computer and printer I was setting up were in different rooms, I did not see the number. After searching paperwork, etc, I Googled information on-line. Finally found someone who experienced the same problem and he/she carefully described where to find the number. I have not yet set-up FAX, but printing, copying and scanning are working well. I like that the scanning can be controlled from the computer. Scanning results are very good. Printing and Copying are high quality. My previous HP All-In-One Laser Printer lasted 16 years, and I am hoping this one will do the same. Comparing to my previous printer, I do not like how the individual paper/envelope feeder works. You have to open a tray that tilts out. A full size sheet of paper hangs out over its end. Seems somewhat flimsy and is easily bumped in to. Main paper tray functions well.

A reliable printer was the most important feature I needed. I have never been disappointed with the HP printers or other products. This stood out as a great value when I was shopping for 2-sided printer and scanner (fax was a bonus). With the discount that was offered at the time of purchase, I was able to add the 3-year extended warranty plan (next day exchange if not repaired thru tech services). Thanks HP.

The printer is easy to set up, the ink cartridge is easy to insert/exchange. It prints beautifully, I have not printed in color yet but I plan to soon. I was stoked to be able to review this product and I can say that I truly love this printer and that I would purchase it full price is I needed to, that’s how great the quality is. The images/word documents come out super clear and sharp. I rate this printer a 100/10.

It was very easy to set up, and the menu options did not need explanation. The only issue was that it took several tries for the software to find it on the network. I eventually had to find it using the ip address. Once it was set up, it created high quality and fast print jobs.

I guess beggars can't be choosers. It is super-fast! I printed 20 pages in seconds! The quality of the print even in black and white is excellent. It is picture quality. I love the fast copy option where you can feed it through the top of the machine. Very convenient. I also love that you can print, fax and scan. Overall, I think it's a great product.

The only thing about this printer that I didn’t like is that it was black and white printing only. And I use a lot of color in my prints.

The touch screen is very small. It's hard to touch the correct numbers. It also does not hold much paper. It is more suited for a small office or home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Printer! As a work-from-home, homeschooling mom, I do a lot of printing. I will mention that I was sent a free printer to review, and I'm so glad that I did! There are several key points that made this printer a fantastic fit for my needs. First was the unboxing and setup. I literally just had to pull it out of the box and plug it in. It came with the toner already loaded and the smart user interface made connections and set up to my home devices a breeze. The screen is also amazingly user-friendly for being such a small size. I spent a few moments going over all the different paper trays, sizing options, print modes, and functions available, this is more than just a printer! After a few test jobs (a double-sided document printing, a photo, and some crafts and word games for the kids) I was already sold on this being the best/most convenient new device in the house. I was shocked at how quickly it is able to print, Seriously, my finger was still on the mouse button and the page was sliding out on the try, with a photo! I thought there must have been an error, but sure enough, it was just finished printing that quickly! Having a printer at home that also photocopies and scans is a lifesaver, and the ease of use is incredible. To top all that off, this printer has a smaller footprint and a much sleeker design than my old one, so not only do I have more space on my desk, but the device is not an eyesore! This printer does everything I need it to (and more), looks nice on the desk, and works quickly and quietly...the only thing I would add to make it PERFECT would be color toner. That is the only thing I can come up with that it doesn't do/have.

It is an excellent, space-saving laser printer! I work from home but used to work in an office. I love laser printing and truly have missed being able to print in seconds. But I stayed in the land of office jet printers, incorrectly assuming that laser jets were too bulky and expensive. I'm so glad to be proven wrong! This printer is easy to set up, it is an excellent size for a home office, it is very reasonably priced (in comparison to comparable office jets), and it prints beautifully. I do wish it had a color printing capability as well as B&W, but that is a minor observation. Overall, I highly recommend this product!

I was a little nervous about doing the install myself as I usually have IT do that part, but I pulled the printer out of the box connected it to my computer, opened the HP Smart app and voila! It practically installed itself! The print quality, speed, and simplicity of this printer are fantastic! I definitely would purchase it again. The price was also really good, and on top of all this, I received a nice discount on the printer from HP for purchasing during their President's Day Sale! Super happy customer here in Michigan!

I sent emails and tried to call but I can't wait all day in line and the emails had one reply that wasn't helpful. Please try to update the process for the tax exemption because I have fiscal year deadlines and the way things are done now will set me back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for independent/small business owners *I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review* I run an independent small business and for my purposes this printer works very well. Print quality and speed is excellent. Scanning invoices is easy, especially when duplexed. Fax function works well. I especially like that you can easily use the mobile app to print with which helps while I'm on the road so when I get back to the office my estimates and invoices are waiting for me. The only cons I see so far is that there is no color output (obviously, because it's a laser printer) because I still need color for eye catching promotional materials, so I still need an ink jet for that. The other con is the price for toner cartridges though it's still more economical because B&W printing depletes the color cartridges on my HP ink jet (for whatever bizarre reason) and the majority of what I need to do with this machine is strictly B&W. I'd recommend this printer for small business applications up to 5-10 users; beyond that you may want to look for something more robust.

The overall setup of the printer was easy except for the connection between the printer and connecting it to your mobile device. I had to google the steps of how to connect the printer to mobile device to print. The step was to download HP app to mobile phone to print. I look forward to exploring more features!

I wasted 8 hours speaking with several different customer service representatives who were untrained. I finally found out that the printer kept dropping off of my internet because I needed a more powerful router. This should have been diagnosed in 5 minutes. The printer that this printer replaced is probably fine - I was having the same wireless connectivity issues it. So I bought a printer that I probably didn't even need.

It’s colored makes it super easy to use And print the most perfect pages whether it be words phot images all kinds of text there’s app for your phone which you can also link to it, which is amazing it hooked to so many different devices. It has so many USB and hook up spots ports in line outline, you name it it has it. It is one of the best printers I can honestly say I think I’ve ever use and I’m a pretty printer, savvy, kind of person and went through a couple of my day , definitely worth the price and try out for big or small functions or businesses projects
