It actually didn't fit where my previous printer was so had to create a new space and order a table so it would not be on the floor but I was able to fit the printer under my stand up desk so now printing is more accessible for me. I do love the easy use and the quality of the print makes my work look so professional. Setting up the printer was a breeze and directions were easy to understand. Although it has taken me a little to adjust to a new printer, I do like the quality and the speed of my print jobs. I would highly recommend to a small business owner or someone like me who is teleworking from home. Great printer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP Lover When I initially took the printer out of the box, it was a lot bigger than I expected. I needed help to move it to a location in my office, lol. I have compared the prints to my HP Envy Photo printer that I currently have in my office and the colors are just as vibrant. I have not used the printer to its full capacity, but I am satisfied with the product so far. The printing is silent and comes out at a good pace. The only thing I can say I don't like is the noise it makes at the hinges when lifting up the top to use the scanner. I'm going to assume that because the printer is new, eventually, after multiple uses, the noise will fade away. I am an HP lover and my HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e has not disappointed me yet. I would definitely recommend it as a purchase to try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Dream Printer I am disabled and my old HP Printer was disconnecting left and right and I could barely print from it so when this opportunity came up I had to take it. It arrived safely and without damage. Setup is super simple with easy to follow instructions. Gone are the days of turning off a printer, turning it back on and hope to connect before it's not found again. Signing up for instant lnk (3 months included) also means no more going to the store to hunt down the right cartridges. The only real issue I had was one of the ink cartridges didn't appear to want to go into place but the printer still found it easily. I HIGHLY recommend this printer for anyone looking for a replacement.

First thing I love about this printer, is that it holds a lot of paper. I can also put two types or colors of paper in it if needed. That is huge, it holds almost a whole ream of paper, it's great! My next favorite thing is it lasts a LONG time. I have printed so many pages! I am not sure the exact number, but it is in the hundreds. I can replace just the color that I need, example, I run out of black obviously first, but if I run out of blue, I can replace just blue, if I run out of yellow, I can replace just that, etc. It is large in size, but it has to be for all it does. I can copy, print, email, scan, and get this! I can print from a different location. I can print even when I am not near my printer, it can connect remotely and print to be there later. Amazing! I have hooked it up to my laptop and my phone, and can print from both through wifi. I am happy, this is a life changing machine for my job. Not having to continuously replace ink and put paper in makes all the difference.

We also wanted wifi enabled to be able print remotely to support our demand. We bought the HP Officejet Pro 9730e after reading reviews and super happy that we did as it is beautiful machine. Literally checked off everything we were looking for and then some. Also love the HP brand as its associated with Quality and latest technology while being consumer focused. Pros: 3 months of ink subscription, free Setup was beyond easy. Wifi enabled and access is sharable via HP Smart App Printing is super fast and smooth. Copy and Scans with ease Print quality for photos and on glossy and matte paper is impressive. Super Quiet. Cons; (not really) Size, its larger than our old monochrome printer but still small enough to sit on a Table. Weight; it is heavy and does require 2 to safely remove it from the box but plus is the box does have handles built in so you could have one person do it as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Printer! I think I have finally found a printer to fall in love with! The HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e is exceeding all of my expectations. It took less than 10 minutes to setup out the box, including wireless connection, firmware updating, and alignment test printing. The included and online instructions were both simple and easy to follow. Total highlights for me are the wide format printing and scanning capabilities, the variety of other paper size selections, the amount of paper it'll hold in the 2 paper trays (about 250 each), and the amazing printing speed! Regardless of what I was printing - documents, photos, presentations - whether color or black and white, the clarity was sharp and colors popped. HP's claim of up to 24 b/w and 20 color pages per minute have so far proven to be true, which is a great time saver to me. And I can print directly from my iPhone and iPad without missing a beat. Another much appreciated feature is the printer's capability to do double-sided scanning. Not having to manually flip the pages is a wonderful and the scan quality is outstanding! Be warned that this printer has a nice size footprint at 23-inches wide, 15-inches high, and 18-inches to 28-inches deep depending on how far out you extend the paper catcher. I had to put it on its own stand instead of my desk, but a totally irrelevant inconvenience considering how fantastic this printer is! Overall, it performs beautifully and is very efficient. Now, if the printer itself was black instead of white, it would truly be the perfect marriage to my home office.

The Hp OfficeJet pro 9730e’s performance is far beyond my expectations and delivers more capabilities than I anticipated. This is an upgrade from an inkjet printer and the speed, quality and power of this laser-jet printer surpasses the other one times 50. I did a lot of research and comparisons to find the best HP laser-jet printer that offers WiFi capabilities, scan to file and mobile printing before purchasing and was pretty confident this was the one. It is! Very easy to set up and very easy to use. Downloading the app to my smartphone, desktop, laptop was an easy two step process and provides a convenient way to print from my devices. I like the modern touch and feel that the touchscreen display provides, giving the printer a sleek and classy look and style. And what I value the most is the speed. I can print 20 pages via email from another room in a matter of a few seconds. The Hp Officejet 9730e is a solid upgrade to my home office and I am definitely happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP9730E Wow, I can now print from my laptop, cellphone and tablet. This is a big rugged ALL IN ONE, so if you print a lot, this unit is the one to purchase. It comes with 3 months of ink and the black replacement is $41 and has a yield of 1250 standard pages. It has a rated black print speed of up to 22 per minute and 18 PPM for color. Just make sure you have the space for it, it does have a big footprint and is built to last not like a sub $200 printer. It had the easiest wireless printer setup I have done using the HP Smart App.

I was a little nervous about the set up since I’m used to having access to the IT guys at work, but it was super easy! It was basically pull it out of the box, plug it in, take the tape off, and then the app walked through the easy steps of loading paper and the ink. As you can see from the photo the printer is very large but it does come in a very sturdy bag with handles to lift it out of the box. Still because of the weight you may want to plan to have another set of hands to help with unboxing and placement. I think the weight is a good attribute thought because the printer seems to be built well, and the heavy weight keeps in where you put it! The touch screen is very responsive and the menu is intuitive. It’s easy to navigate through all the options. Printing is very fast. I really appreciate the 2 paper trays! I think that's unusual for a printer at this price point - a very nice bonus. Paper is easy to load and feeds very well I've used 24lb plain paper, and the hp advanced photo papers so far with no issues at all. prints came out great on the first try. This printer comes with 3 free months of instantInk - I’ve never used this service before but I opted to sign up for the service during my setup - you can chose not to if you prefer. I did receive this printer at a reduced price in order to do an honest review. Even so, I think it's well worth the asking price. I am very happy with the printer.

The only drawback to it is the size. When the box was delivered, I was shocked! It took 2 people to get it out of the box! It is quite large, although the basic footprint as far as area on the table wasn’t that much larger than the printer I was replacing. The ease of use, cost of use, ability to print and scan 11x17, and print quality definitely outweigh the large size! Very pleased , definitely recommend for small business users!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large and almost in charge I was happy to upgrade my printer to the Officejet Pro 9730e. The printer has a beautiful wide scanning bed for larger than normal documents/pictures to scan. The paper trays also accommodate legal size paper without the tray, or paper, sticking out of the side of the printer; the paper is nicely contained in the trays. The lcd screen on the printer is large and has beautiful colors. The UI on the lcd screen, and printer via embedded web server, is much different than previous models. I am still getting used to the new printer UI, and software. As soon as I turned on the printer, it immediately tried to update the firmware once it connected to the internet....and it failed miserably. On the second attempt to update the firmware, after restarting the printer, it updated smoothly. Something new that is also different, while sending a new job to the printer over my wireless network, the printer has recognized some ways to optimize the speed and quality of printing and communicated via pop-up and requested confirmation to perform the optimizations. I have not dug into what the optimizations are, or if there were any differences in print jobs. I am still having fun with the printer, but what I can tell you is it prints smoking fast, it is much quieter than earlier Officejet Pro models, and it is very large. I would recommend picking up the 9730e if you are looking for an upgrade or just need a printer that can do everything!

It is sleek and has everything I need while being compact enough to not take up a large amount of space. The touch screen is easy to navigate while I can also use my laptop and phone to operate the printer as well. It connected to all of my devices effortlessly on WiFi and made it easy to streamline printing and scanning for both work and my children. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick Printing and XL Scanner I've had this HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e for about a week and so far it has met my printing/scanning needs. I find it is more than adequate to take care of the shipping labels that are the majority of what I print. I've also expiramented with a couple photos & find it to be great for that as well. I do wish this had the refillable ink tanks or was laser, but hopefully the standard ones will last a while. If you're running a business and need paper trays as large as the ones on this, you probably won't be looking at inkjets. The star of the show and what drew me to this machine above all others is the scanner. I recently acquired my family's photo albums which are bigger than standard size combo machines. The HP is large enough to do a full page at a time and will allow me to get everything digitalized without problem. I found the included software easy to work and setup was a breeze. I definitely would reccomend this for anyone who will need an extra large scanner in their small business. The machine appears to be very well built and I expect it will last for years to come.

The printed copies were true to screen color, which was impressive. One smart feature is that it pauses to let the ink fry when printing two sided documents, which ensures smudge-free pages. Setup was a breeze, and I had no trouble connecting multiple devices to it. The printer is a bit larger than I expected, though i might have missed that detail in the specs. The packaging was excellent, with plenty of tape to keep everything secure during transit. The print quality is top-notch, with both black-and-white and color pages coming out sharp and clear. The display screen is convenient as it fades out when not in use, saving energy. while the HP Office Jet Pro 9730e is fast and efficient, it is a little noisy. Overall, despite the minor inconvenience, I'm happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It has all the bells and whistles! I am delighted with my HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e! I downgraded my previous HP for a more minimalist look, and it was instant regret. I was happy to get back to an OfficeJet. This printer is a game-changer for any home office, small business, or any person who just prints a lot like me. Setup was a breeze with the touchscreen interface guiding me through each step. I really loved having a screen again. The print quality is outstanding, whether I'm producing vibrant color charts or crisp black-and-white documents. I did have an issue where the second page of any duplex copy/scan had a vertical blue streak down the page. I called tech support and they had me take out the cartridges, wipe them, return them to the printer, and do a hard reset. After that, everything was back to normal. I was thrilled about that because duplex copy/scanning is a very important feature for me. The feeder handles stacks of documents flawlessly, and the scans are sharp and clear every time. The printing speed is also an upgrade for me, It's lightning fast. It can handle large jobs with ease which is a huge time-saver for me. The only negative is that because it is so fast it literally shakes the whole desk that it sits on when printing documents. Overall, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e is an awesome all-in-one. It's reliable, efficient, and packed with features that make my life easier. If you're looking for a multifunction printer that delivers on both performance and value, this is definitely the one to get!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP at its best I recently bought HP 9730e and installed it yesterday. It’s bigger than I thought but knowing it can hold 500 pages, I didn’t have to store the pages anymore. That’s a plus. Installation was extremely easy and seamless. Printer head alignment took 2 tries to work and print quality is excellent. I compared it with previous HP printer I had and without a doubt, it’s crisp, clear and sharper. Already printed quite a few pages and it prints at a faster paper and cartridge installation was super easy. No breaking clips which is a major plus as I have wasted cartridges while attempting to make ready for installing it. Needless to say, this was a great purchase and a solid product. If your needs are for research papers and/or home business where you need to print large quantities, this is the best printer. Multiple trays to hold hundreds of pages each and different sized papers/sheets, HP makes it easy to have all your printer needs addressed with this fine piece of equipment, which is not only practical and fine tuned, it is well built and pretty.

Print in regular size and large size paper which is great for printing docs for projects, the setup was super easy done through scanning a bar code which walks you through the steps. The mobile app is my favorite as it allows printing and scanning. The usb print is also very convenient in case you want to print offline.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Perfect Megapunch Professional Office Printer The new wide-print HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e packs a heavyweight PUNCH, leaving a stunning result of printing and WYSIWYG satisfaction to the max. The design itself is typically HP, in the way they have facilitated the Scanning, the feeding of the paper, and even in the insertion of the printer inks - If you’ve been an HP user, the UX/UI should be pretty familiar. Except for one caveat - Which I am certain that it was creative for space, saving innovation, and not necessarily for aesthetics. When you do use the trays for the maximum allowed paper size (which is 11” x14” ), One must use their tray extender, which does not allow the trade to be completely.closed, Hence, needing someone to be on standby otherwise there’s a highly likely chance that someone will bump into it and possibly ruin the mechanism and or the paper itself’ Aside from this, the instruction to the first usage of the printer is self-explanatory and if in doubt, you can actually make use of the QR code that’s available in the instruction manual which directly links to a video that will help you get started. Another side note would be to always refer to YouTube and see if there’s anyone who could help with some of the odds and ends of the usage if the instruction manuals were not clear. Once the cartridges are installed, and the ink alignment is completed, you could access the printer function in two ways : through a printer, cable or via Wi-Fi. The USB port for the printer is available in the front left side of the printer itself, and USB cable is not provided. The Wi-Fi version is a lot simpler and this is my preferred method, and once you set up the Wi-Fi in the printer and you use the same network to print from your computer or from your iPad or your phone, Process is quite quick and the results are what you see is what you get. Another aspect that’s pretty incredible is the level of quality professional print out this HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e creates. One of the biggest challenges as an artist/graphic designer is the issue of not being able to do a color match what’s on the screen to the print.. This printer is where the WYSIWYG comes shining through, And the color interpretation from the File to the printout is a remarkable match. The Print time of a 11”  x 14” poster Is about two minutes, and as the print finishes, the printer itself allows it to return into the feeder for what appears to be "drying time". Overall I would highly recommend for professional grade printing.

It also supports 2-sided prints. The Touch screen is very intuitive, we can easily navigate between options. The printer is very fast, prints 22 pages per minute and has a paper tray that holds upto 500 sheets. We have been using it for small business needs and our kids needs. The HP+ Program for this printer is also enable worry free ink refills. This Printer also supports the Cloud Print and Air Print. We did setup this printer to print remotely and using our iOS mobile also. We can also enable private print for secured documents. This Printer has a option to connect USB Drive and print from there. The Printer can connect to internet using LAN or Wifi. We have setup using Wifi. The Printer can print in color and back & white. This printer has everything that a home or small business needs. Enjoying it's productivity every day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from hp 9730 I have tried this printer and have found it to be very easy to use from unpacking to setup, the wifi was quickly detected and had no hangups in staying connected.. i was able to print from my mobile devices such as ipad and phone using the hp smart print app the installing of the ink cartridge was easy, i would have like it to print a bit faster for the size of it, the paper feeder is smooth so far the only downsize is the speed, and i ran into trouble with paper jams twice so far and i get an error message when shutting down the printer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a big printer with big features! When the box arrived at my doorstep my first thought was ‘Wow, it is big!’. It’s true it is a large printer, but it is packed with big features – and it is the perfect size for my small business. The set up was simple. Within about 15 minutes I had all the packing materials removed, paper installed, ink cartridges installed and was printing a test page. I also downloaded the HP Smart app and was signed up for the Instant Ink service as well. The app connected to my wifi automatically and the printer printed flawlessly from my phone and laptop. The overall quality is very high, the paper trays are huge, and printing was very fast. I printed a test page that was just one line and the page shot out within a second. I am curious to try out HP’s Instant Ink service. We have never used it before. It will be nice to not worry about running out of ink. HP continues to deliver when it comes to printers for home and small office use!

This printer connected to our project wifi and all crewmembers can print to it. We selected this model because of the speed for printing, along with the option to print 11 x 17 and has color feature. First day we set it up we had a meeting and needed a lot of pages printed. Worked great with no issues and we showed up to the meeting prepared. It also prints double sided which was great. I highly recommend this printer for anyone looking for a great quality printer with all the features you need at a great price. 5 Stars!!!

I wanted to make sure that I had it a full 14 days before I wrote my review, as I wanted to be as honest as possible, and make sure I utilized and figured out all of the cool features the printer has to offer. I should start by saying that this is a printer worth purchasing. It is equipped with print (black and color), scan (feeder scan or glass scan), and copy (feeder or glass scanned copy). It is a wide format printer that can scan and copy the usual sized pages or even bigger things (as wide as 11x17 particularly). I found this to be a super helpful feature. Another feature I found helpful was the big touch screen. This screen was way bigger than your standard printer screen. Which again, is very helpful for someone like myself who cannot see well on the smaller screens. The document feeder up top is an automatic feeder, and the printer has two drawers for paper. Which allows for normal sized paper and wider, longer paper if needed. It prints up to 22 pages per minute (I put this to the test myself and it is certainly the truth), and the clarity of the printed document/photos have turned out so true to color. Setup was incredibly easy and we were on air and connected to WiFi within literal minutes. You can print from your phone or from a computer/laptop without having to have the software downloaded. The printer came with 3 months of ink included in the box, and a free trial of HP plus. If you’re questioning whether to purchase the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e, don’t question any longer, and make the purchase!

I also needed to have WIFI, crisp flatbed scanning and borderless wide format capabilities for not only myself but my children's schoolwork. I just purchased a new HP laptop and decided to stay in the HP family. I bought the HP Officejet Pro 9730e wide format and am glad I did as it is a workhorse! It is heavy and requires two people to lift out of the packaging, but the printer comes encased in a bag with handles for easy lifting. Very ergonomic. Setup took less than 5 minutes. See my photo with a roll of paper towels just for size reference. It fit perfectly on my existing filing cabinet. WIFI setup to my home network was easy. It prints, copies and scans. Printing was quiet, fast and smooth. I am glad this printer has duplex printing. Scanned images look great when using the flat bed. scanner. The larger scanner is great for scanning in my kid's artwork! My children benefit the most as this printer supports wide format and borderless full color printing. It's perfect for school projects. Images look great on both glossy picture paper and matte sticker paper. During setup you can send a link to any cellphone so that each person can easily print wirelessly, using the HP Smart app. Even better is the ability to print from anywhere using the app. Get home and it's waiting in the print tray! A bonus is the 3 months of free ink via HP Instant Ink subscription. Great way to test out the program before subscribing.

I was looking for a printer that had an ethernet port that would allow me to connect the printer directly to my router. Very few printers seem to offer this type of feature. The HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e meets this requirement for a printer to join my home office setup. This is a great printer and with the HP Instant Ink program, you never worry about running out of ink at the worst time. I have been testing out various prints and services, and have been very pleased so far. I do a lot of archiving of old photographs and have already scanned about 500 photographs on it the past 2 days. I love the large format scanning bed, this is quite useful compared to the usual, much smaller scanning bed. The scans and copies come out great. The document feeder for making scans/copies seems make the resulting document copy crooked more often than not when printing photos, however it did a good job with normal 8.5 x 11" documents. I may need to test this out further, and will update if I get different results down the road. If you want a perfect scan/copy, best to lift the lid and use the scanning bed instead of the feeder, though, when it comes to photo scanning and copying. Though it is not advertised as a photo printer, I have tested out borderless prints on glossy, semigloss, and matte photograph paper in various sizes, like 4x6, 5x8, and 8x10, and the quality is very good! When printing on regular paper, phtos do look a bit grainy, but photo paper looks terrific. It seems to have a very acceptable color gamut. Printed documents look absolutely perfect on regular paper. Finally, you get 3 months of free HP Instant Ink when you buy this printer. What's not to love about that? I love their Instant Ink service.

Unboxing was a breeze, especially with how the plastic that its wrapped in has handles so it's easy to remove from the box. Once I unpacked it, plugged it in, installed ink, paper and the printer was ready for setup. My computer has HP Smart software so the printer was found on my network without any fumbling around in settings. Easy breezy and was able to start printing right away. It's a bigger footprint because it is wider than your average printer which my daughter will love because her art will fit on the glass. Prints fast too! Nice size touch screen as well. All in all, I will be using this regularly when i have to print for my real estate profession.

Lots of useful features, great print quality, double sided available. Initial set up took some time buy with so many features it makes sense and was worth it. The app is really helpful and make printing super easy. My teenage daughter used it to print a whole bunch of images to decorate her bedroom wall with and the quality was so good. I100% recommend this printer!!!!!

It was hit or miss with our last printer. We also had a lot of missing pixels even after cleaning the printer head. The HP Office Jet Pro 9730e printer arrived in great condition. I loved how easy it was to set up. From unboxing to print the entire process was seamless. The app is very user friendly and the printer came with clear concise instructions. This printer is very fast and so far extremely reliable. We tried printing on both regular and photo paper. They both look great as you can see in my video. The ink cartridges were easy to load and I love the auto ink subscription. We are extremely happy with this printer so far and would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A game changer for small businesses I purchased the the 9730 E model for my home business and I was amazed from the very beginning! It weighs approximately 50 pounds and is what I would call a luxury model for the price. My biggest worry was with the WiFi connectivity as my old printer wouldn’t work properly. The 9730e was extremely easy to set up and operate for someone like me who isn’t incredibly tech savvy. The instructions were easy to understand and I was able to complete initial setup in about 30 minutes. The touch screen is super simple to understand and accomplish tasks without having to hit a lot of buttons which is refreshing. It’s quiet and overall not super bulky for a luxury business printer. The printing process produces a phenomenal end result with no bad bleeding or mixture of colors or lines. It doesn’t shake or make some sort of gosh awful sound while achieving tasks I request and isn’t a huge process to print something. Overall I’m pretty happy with this purchase and amazed hp has a printer capable of making life easier as a small business owner without hurting the pocket book to much. Next thing is the ink, the ink refills are reasonably priced or you can sign up for the auto system thru hp which makes life so much easier!

This is the best option out there for an all-in-one 11x17 capable color printer. HP quality in the printer market speaks for itself as we have 3 'home' units in use at my house (my wife and I have home offices) which I'd put against any professional grade high use office units. This was EASY to set up, even in a network where you have more than 1 printer connected. The directions are mainly web-based and easy to follow. If you need 11x17 capability in a scan/copy/print unit the 9730e is your go to machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big, sleek, nice printer! I’m impressed! The printer box had a little dent in one corner, but it was so well packed that there was nothing to worry about. I was impressed at size of the printer itself. It looks as though it’s going to last several years. Set up was easy and the instructions were straightforward. The HP Smart app was already installed on my HP desktop, so connecting the printer to it was seamless, except for the fact that I had to reconnect it a handful of times before it finally “took”. I like the fact that it was relatively quick to print four (4) 26-page documents containing some full-colored pages without even as much as a hiccup. The documents turned out great, there was no bleeding of colors, and there were no paper jams. The other feature I like is the touchpad flips out at a perfect angle for viewing and using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Peasy LEMON SQUEEZY! I am not going to lie the sheer size of this printer made me hesitant to set it up. I was definitely intimidated. But when I tell you it took less than ten minutes to set up I'm not exaggerating. It does have a fairly large foot print but that's to be expected when looking at this type of machine. It is not a standard home office printer, it is meant for heavy duty jobs. However it looks so beautiful in my makeshift home office right now. Overall the printer was a breeze to set up we took it out of the box, plugged it in, took off the tape and cardboard and that was it for hardware. Then I downloaded the app and followed the steps. It was maybe 5 steps total to put in paper, the ink cartridges, and then connect to the wifi. I didn't even need my password. The paper comes out smoothly and quickly, much quicker than my old printer. The quality of the copies is great. I have zero complaints! It wasn't even as loud as my old printer. Granted my old printer is still great, I'll keep it at work. This one even came with a free trial of instant ink. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and can't wait to see how it does with larger jobs, over 20 pages.

Wireless printing is fantastic. The set up was very easy just follow along. The printer is large and in charge. Printing was easy and fast. 22 pages per minute for black and 18 pages for color. So far so good. I love my new printer.

I only had one issue where I had to jiggle the cartridge during setup. Print Quality: I'm very happy with the color print quality! I used both Matte(8.5 x 11) and Glossy(5 x 7) papers to test it out. I'm planning to use Glossy papers for family albums and wall decors, and Matte paper for fun projects or custom greeting cards!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its definately a step up. HP lookin more High Tech I've had many HP Printers over the last years. I decided to try their new 9730e Printer. Taking it out of the package was great. It was definitely secure and I was so impressed with the look of it I couldn't wait to hook it up. The initial setup takes a little bit with getting it registered on your network, doing a software update but once it was set it decided to give it a whirl. Compare to many of my older printers it definitely takes the printing quality to the next level. Pictures are clearer. Brochures and signs look much more professional. Love that it can take any size paper up to 11x17. Love the quality, the HP Ink and paper program are great as well. No longer have to stock in extra cartridges, they send them to you and it does get there in time. The paper they send you is really high quality too. As for a few cons, it does seem to go off-line with my computer quite a bit the first 3 days. Not sure if it was still trying to figure itself out but it seemed to stop for now. The only other larger downside for me is that there are two paper trays 1 and 2. So you can have letter and anything else in the other one. But if you want to print 2 pages of card stock or print some 4x6 photos, you have to take all the paper out of one tray and put in what you want, then you have to tell the printer what paper is in that tray or it will error, same again when your done. Really wish they had put a flip down tray to stick things in I think it was originally considered "Tray 1". But I think i'll keep my other printer around for those times I need to print weird sizes and definately keep this printer as my primary. The quality is amazing for anything I have ever seen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 9730e Experience! If I had to sum the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e up in one word, that word would be AMAZING! My first impression was that this is a lot bigger than what I currently had and was accustomed to, but I quickly found out that it is well worth. Setup was very easy. The HP apps walks you through step by step and it only takes a short period of time. I was able to print my first documents within minutes of unboxing. The quality for both black and white and color printing is top tier! The printer is packed with features that are not only cool but very useful. One thing that really stands out for me is that when the paper is the paper tray is switched to a different size, the printer automatically detects it and asks you if you would like to proceed. This is game changing for me since I constantly must use non-standard size paper for printing and sometimes it would take several tries before getting it to print correct. I was able to get it on my 2nd try. I am very impressed with this printer and look forward to printing.

Replaced my years and years old 9025e. Nice that it comes with 3 months of ink (basically to get started and used to it). Its fast, has a nice design. Ive copied lots on it. LCD Display is nice and colorful and shows all that is going on and is a LARGE Screen so no eye squinting. Perfect for large printing (as its a wide format). Ink/colors are Crisp and Vibrant. Photocopying is really super fast to !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is FAST!! Came from a brother laser printer to this Ink Jet as I needed higher quality/DPI. Was worried about the Print Speed coming from a laser printer. Let me tell you, this thing is FAST. It prints color pages almost as fast with full quality. Client presentations look amazing, crystal clear. The scanner bed is fast and works with Mac. No need to install drivers, etc.., works right out of the box and I can scan 1200 DPI. Highly recommend this printer. Wide format is great, using HP paper is recommended as you can change the settings to the paper you've loaded.

It has exceeded my expectations. I have tried all the functions and it worked flawlessly. The print quality for photos is terrific. Took a while to figure out that you have to print photos from tray 1 as there is no option for photo paper in tray 2. Once I figured that out it was really easy to scan and print photos. Printing documents is super fast! Printing photos also is quite fast but takes a little longer. I would 100% recommend this printer for anyone that prints a lot of documents and pictures. Also the ink is reasonable priced with the instant ink program that HP offers. Would also recommend signing up for that service. You will never run out of ink if you do.

It's very easy to set-up via HP website and very easy to fix an issue that may arise such as paper jam, out of paper, ink low - just very user friendly! You also have an email address for your printer so you can email directly to it from anywhere - very efficient and print immediately or once you get in the office. We got it for it's professional quality printing with more effective pricing on ink cartridges rather than toners and they come XL size for longevity! You can print either 8 x 11 Letter or 8 x 14 Legal documents with ease. You have two drawers to load all paper in - so when one drawer runs out, the 2nd picks up printing. We loved this unit and recommend!

It's also a nice all around printer. Yes, the printer is large and heavy but the build is solid with a nice design. Set-up was a breeze, probably the easiest printer I have set-up so far. I followed the instructions, used the app, and I was up and running in less than 10 minutes. This process is a major improvement. In addition to being able to print wide format (A3), the printer is also packed with features. The display is outstanding and easy to navigate. Copies and scans were crisp and clean. The color is ideal. While I am connected via Wifi, it does have an ethernet port as well. I haven’t tried the mobile fax feature but it’s good to have as well. Printing is also fast and pretty quiet. One thing to keep in mind is that when A3 paper is in the printer, the paper tray does not close completely. The user guide does mention this but I am sharing as well (also see picture). I had a specific purpose for this printer and it does the job and goes beyond. Absolutely no regrets on this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Printer! This HP Printer is great! Took about 15 minutes to set up (had to do a firmware update) but setting up was easy and the HP Smart app is great! The toner cartridges were easy to install and hooking up to the Wi-Fi was a breeze. It prints quickly and I love that it can do wide prints as well. Being able to print, scan and copy is always a great option. As I do a small home business, my husband is a first responder, and I have 3 grown kids and a toddler. I'm looking forward to being able to have the option to send my husband and children things that they may need from home but don't have the option to come home and get it. The ability to print from anywhere and invite anyone to print on your printer is awesome. The double trays make it easy for me to have paper in one and my shipping labels in the other, without having to switch out. I'm looking forward to trying the HP Instant Ink service because I notoriously run out of ink and forgot to buy new ones. Having all these options (and ones I haven't discovered yet) at my fingertips, from anywhere, is a major upgrade from my old HP printer and I am here for it! Highly recommend!!

Since I love creating posters and other projects, this printer has been able to get the job done. I am amazed by the color match between my computer and the printer! The colors comes out vibrant and sharp which is important for my print jobs. The touchscreen is a plus and it makes it easy to get into the different options it offers. Scanning is a breeze and copying is smooth. Setting up the printer was quick and the online instructions were very simple and helpful. I can't wait to create more and see how other projects will come out! Highly recommend.

The printer walked us through set up, which took 10 mins. I like the free printable that the app has. The ink cartilages were easy to install as well. The pages printed quickly and perfectly. It gave notations when a print was complete and when our pages were getting low. I am very pleased with this printer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What An Upgrade! Great Features. I am beyond impressed with this printer! From setup to the first print, it only took 10 mins. The HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e is a wide format printer that prints up to 11"x17", which will be a great step up for printing proofs and posters for our design business. Beautiful color prints and nice sharp text on documents. The scanner bed is very large and can accomodate larger images for archiving. The auto feed scanner is nice for multi-page documents. I was so happy to discover that is does automatic two-sided printing. There is a double tray for loading two types of paper. I was able to load 500 pieces of paper. The mobile app was very easy to set up and it made it very easy to add the printer to our wireless network. I can now send prints from anywhere in my house. I was very impressed with how fast it started printing. It started printing only a few seconds after I hit print and within a minute or two, I had a 26 page, two-sided document with several images printed. Borderless printing is an option that is available within the settings. I am really excited to try the auto-fill ink service that comes with the printer. The printer makes quick, clean copies. Overall, this is a major upgrade for our home office. Multiple can use this printer because it's completely wireless. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I do a lot of printing at home for crafts, personal use, and I'm working on starting a business. This printer has handled everything I've thrown at it so far really well. From printing on sticker paper to printing my notes on 4x6 index cards it's been great. With anything smaller than letter size I do have to manually print on both sides of the paper but that's expected from most printers, especially large format ones. I can't wait to get a hold of some tabloid size paper and start making my own planner books. The print quality is fantastic. It prints color and b/w very quickly. It's fairly quiet for its size. Having two paper trays has made my life significantly easier, I can keep standard letter size paper in one tray and use the second for the odd size stuff. I change it on the printer when I swap it out because it prompts me and it auto selects the proper tray when I print from my computer. Being able to print from my phone and iPad is also great, no having to email documents to myself.

What really sets its apart for me is the fact that it has 2 print trays each of which hold 250 pages. This means that I can print to the two sizes I regularly use (letter and legal) without having to constantly swap paper out of a single tray. The other great thing about this printer is that it prints extremely fast, especially in color. I have never seen a printer produce such high quality color prints as fast as the 9730e does. Lastly, the screen is super intuitive and easy to navigate menu wise but what really sets the 9730e apart is the app. You basically have access to all of the printers features from your phone at any moment. Whether you want to print remotely or scan you can accomplish this with just your phone in hand which I love.

This printer has the specs to run in a small office environment, so it’s also a solid option if you work from home or even if you’re looking for a printer for a shared workspace. This is a physically large printer that will likely take up a bit too much real estate for most home office desks, so we would recommend a dedicated space for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work Horse I was a little hesitant to get this printer because I already have an Hp printer but I’m glad that I did. The setup process was easy and simple. Setting up through the app and a few clicks on the printer and done. The printing speed is amazing. I have to print out a lot of invoices, envelopes, checks, charts, spreadsheets, etc… on a weekly basis. As easy as 1,2,3 and the print jobs are done. This printer is a lot quieter than my previous printer and it makes a difference. I do have the instant ink and paper service. Is it worth it? I get very busy at times and it’s one less thing to worry about. Ink cartridges and paper are delivered right to my front door automatically when I’m running low. I’m not constantly checking ink levels or paper amounts and I even don't have to place an order. It is a subscription based service with different plans and it’s worth every penny to me and my business. So honestly I would recommend this printer to anyone who has a small business. The speed, color quality especially with photos and charts, are remarkable . I really don't have anything negative to say about this printer. Some people may not like the large size of the printer but it is to be expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Giant workhorse This printer is amazing. It is pretty fast, and has incredible quality. I tried printing 450 pages on my first day, and it did remarkably well. I did run into a couple of errors, but I am guessing it was because I was printing a 165 page document over WiFi. It didn’t have any issue with a 75 page document, but the larger files seemed to throw errors. If that happens, you restart the printer (but be forewarned that it will restart printing at the beginning, not where it left off). Better to just cancel the job and start reprinting the pages that have not printed yet. Also, note the size. This printer is a giant. So if space is at a premium, this is not the printer for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Home Office I am always a bit intimidated when it comes to setting up a new electronic machine. This printer was easy breezy. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease while using the QR code feature. The printer practically sets its self up in less than 10 mins. It connected to my home WiFi without me having to remember or enter my information. The overall size of this machine is quite large and takes up a considerable amount of space, so I wouldn’t recommend it sitting beside you on a desk. It should be placed on its own table or stand. It’s quiet and the processing speed is great. The surface/print area is 13x19 which allows for larger projects. You have 2 paper trays to load and store different sizes. I love the automatic ink replacement. This takes the hassle out of ordering or forgetting to order. If you are considering this printer, I highly recommend it.

The photos and documents she generated printed very quickly and the colors looked great. We both do a lot of printing for work so we each need our own printer, and this is one I would love to have for myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect A3 size all-in-one printer I previously used the HP OfficeJet Pro 8720, which is an excellent all-in-one printer, scanner, and copier. It served me well for many years and handled numerous tasks efficiently. However, my work now requires a newer and more powerful all-in-one machine. Therefore, I upgraded to the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e. I am very pleased with this upgrade. The print speed and quality have both improved, and it offers better support for mobile devices, allowing me to print from any client. The only downside is its larger size, which is understandable since it can now print larger A3-sized documents. Overall, I am very happy with this printer.

The wide format option of this printer definitely fits the bill! WiFi set up was a breeze - both my husband and I are able to print from our phones. The quality is awesome too, for the speed it prints at. I’ve read reviews where they say you can get really nice photos using photo paper so that’s my next purchase. I know people really like the insta ink option, but for my level of printing I don’t think I need it. However, if you’re planning on a lot of printing definitely sign up and get three months free! I print weird sizes all the time and this printer is so easy to do that - it’s like it automatically detects it and asks me if I want to print in that size. Super easy and convienent! I can’t wait to use this printer for my Christmas cards this year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time for an Upgrade Times have changed and working from home more has necessitated a printer/scanner with more capabilities and the HP 9730e has not disappointed. Installation was easy and it was connected and running in no time. The 9730e has two paper trays so I don’t have to keep switching when I need different sizes. I am able to send documents from any device with ease because of the Wi-Fi connection. Also, having a multi-page document feeder for the scanner saves so much time over smaller units that require you to manually place each page. I am also working on a project to preserve older reference materials and the wide-format scanner can handle many larger books and charts in one pass instead of several smaller scan that need to then be combined. The touchscreen controls on the 9730e are a breeze to use and the menus are easy to follow. The 9730e produces quality prints quickly and quietly. This is my first time using the HP Instant Ink service and I am looking forward to not having to worry about shopping for ink cartridges any longer. Overall, I am thrilled with the quality and capabilities of the 9730e.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Printer once you get past the buggy setup This review is for the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e an overall excellent printer thats bogged down by a buggy setup process for Mac Users. My issue stems from the HP Smart app which is required in order to setup the printer. Pros: - Printing is faster than any I've experienced with HP before at 22 pages per minute black and 18 pages per minute color its definitely meets the needs of a small business. - Copying documents with the printer is a breeze and can be done on device with no use of a phone app or computer. - Printer has Ethernet, USB, and WI-FI connectivity. - Changing the ink cartridges in this printer is probably by far the easiest experience I've ever had changing ink. -There are two bays for paper to be held in the printer up to 500 total, this means not having to fill the printer with paper as often which is convenient. Cons: - HP Smart app kept failing on printer setup with an error that just said there was an error setting up the printer continuous.y using the iOS app. Ultimately I played with the screen on the printer and figured out how to run a software update over wifi on the device and after the update the HP Smart app worked smooth with setting up the printer. Smart app should be able to handle this more elegantly or at least give you an error message that tells you the printer needs an update. - Printer is very heavy find a permanent spot and leave it there because its a beast to move by yourself every time. Tips: - I find the printer is much quicker to begin your print job with connected to Ethernet. - Run software updates on device before trying to setup using the HP Smart App. - HP now has a service where they provide high quality paper on a monthly subscription as well, if your looking to not have to run to the store or to be guaranteed you'll always have paper available its a great option however you will save money by purchasing the paper yourself in the long run. - The OfficeJet Pro 9730e has access to His instant ink service, this service is an excellent time saver and money saver compared to purchasing your ink at the store and I highly recommend attaching it as a necessary service for your printer.

After installing the ink cartridges, I got the message that the print head needed to be changed several times. I tried multiple things to correct this, and finally got it resolved. Then I had a problem printing from my computer because, although the printer said it was connected, the computer said it wasn't. I turned the printer off/on several times, reset the router, reviewed all my network settings, etc., and finally got it working. It was frustrating, but ended well at last. Happy with the capability to print on larger paper/make larger copies. However, I'm disappointed that I have not been able to zoom in/out to make different size copies from the original. Also, it is quite cumbersome to change which paper tray to print from. When I change the tray, sometimes it takes effect and sometimes not. And it won't print if I leave one tray slightly open in order to print from the other tray. I had both the zoom and easy tray change features on my previous printer, but except for that this printer is great. I'm still learning how to use the menu efficiently, so maybe some of these concerns will be resolved as I get more comfortable using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the HP Officejet Pro 9730e !!! I love the HP Officejet Pro 9730e for high-volume use of any kind (Small / Home office or a big family). I was kind of nervous during setup because it takes a while to finish calibrating and be ready for end use. Once that was done, however everything surpassed my expectations. Print speed is above expectations, and the scanner works exceptionally well on Mac / Windows. I like the option of having two separate trays of paper, but my one gripe with the printer is that it's still a jet printer. You need to be careful touching the print output right after it comes out because it can smudge. It's normal to print and let it set on the tray, which seems to minimize the risk of it. I would highly recommend the printer though, especially if you're in need of throughput greater than a small deskjet can accommodate.

I've had several Printer, Scanner, Copiers over the years. However, to get my hands on one what does large format printing as well has been awesome! Setting this printer up was easy. I followed the step by step instructions from the QR code. Once I did that I was able to connect into my HP Smart account. But WAIT. What is the HP+ they prompted me on. I had to take some time to learn these features also. HP+ took the experience to another level. It’s like having a personal assistant for your printer. The automatic ink ordering means I never run out of ink, which is a lifesaver. Plus, the enhanced security features keep my data safe, which is a huge plus in today’s world. The cloud-based printing lets me print from anywhere, whether I’m at home, at the office, or on the go. It’s like my printer is always with me. Overall, The print quality is awesome. I've some to expect that from HP printers. I was able to print pictures, documents, and a flyer for Promo. Consider me pleasantly surprised by this printers versatility and features.

It is aesthetically pleasing, prints quiet and quickly and has tons of great features. Copy, scan, double sided printing, and also prints up to 11X17. Setup was easy and painless. Love the fact that I can print wirelessly through the HP app. Overall it is a great printer and I look forward to using it more and experiencing more great features!
