Big Speed!
I am working on a long term programming project. It will have to run for years. The Z6G4 sped up processing 500%! I really like that. It will shorten the time required to finish and that leaves time for other endeavors.

Fine Upgrade from Z600.
Replaced a Z600 workstation with this Z6. A seamless transition. Use it to run Matlab and GMAT simulations and perform Blender rendering and SolidWorks CAD. Computations which required some 30 seconds on the Dual Xeon Z600 now complete instantaneously. I have a suite of batch sims which required 12 hours to complete on the Z-600. Now 3 hours. Machine is quiet and kind to the power bill. Love the 1TB D: drive feature. Chose spinning drives due to 2014 data center experience - after infant mortality, spin-drives are long lived, though slower to access. Though with evolving SSD tech, one may argue that point. However, disk accesses are noticeably faster with the wider/faster backplane bus.
