Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect & Simple Hub I bought this hub as a docking station for my laptop in my home office. I'm able to connect my laptop to power supply, monitor, hard-wire to my home LAN, and recharge all of my wireless devices (phone, mouse, keyboard). I used some velcro command steps to keep it in place so all the cables stay neat on my desk. It couldn't be easier and has worked flawlessly for a few months now. I couldn't be happier with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power Passtrough doesn't work Although it says it has an USB-C passtrough charching, this does not function. I've tried several powersupplies and none of them seem to function. When I plug the powersupply directly in my laptop, it does work. Otherwise, it gets the job done. Nothing more, nothing less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not compatible with my laptop. I was told by HP support that this dock would be compatible with my HP laptop 15-dw3 but apparently it isn't. Such a hassle. I haven't found one yet that worked so hoped this one was the solution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USB-C Multi Poart Hub was Necessary Since HP Laptop Pavilion 15t-eg200 does not come with all the connections I needed, I purchased this HP Travel USB-C Multi Port Hub to connect to the Ethernet, a Monitor via VGA and to read UHS-I Card from my camera. Without it, my laptop will not be function properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Driver causes crashes The driver that comes with the device caused several BSODs (confirmed this was the cause through the dump files). Tried to get updated drivers from HP website, but the dropdown to select the OS is completely empty, so I can't select a driver. This problem doesn't seem common and I like the dock, but buy at your own risk

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Okay, but should it be needed? Only gave the hub 3 stars, not because there was anything wrong with the hub, but because I had to buy a hub at all. I had to purchase because my HP Envy laptop didn't have enough USB ports (1 really?) and no Ethernet port (I prefer a private high speed wired connection). The HP Envy laptop design was insufficient for the real world.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neat Little Gadget! This is a neat little gadget! I actually used this by mistake. I was able to plug in the ethernet cord and the modem cord with no problems. The internet came up on my laptop and works perfectly. I will be able to definitely use this while traveling.

I'm using this on an HP Spectre x360 with a Thunderbolt port, so the computer isn't to blame. If the hub and power are connected separately, everything works fine, but needing to plug them in separately defeats the purpose of the hub; for that I could have bought a $15 VGA adapter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not much works........ So far I have been unable to get a second monitor connected via HDMI passed through the hub but works when I plug it directly into the laptop. Similar story with a Logitech webcamera using USB. And also can't get power to flow through the hub. So the only thing that works so far is Ethernet hard wired connection. Disappointing.

Includes all the necessary ports, plus a VGA and TF card slot for those occasions where you just might need to use devices with those ports. Connectivity is good, but be sure to update to the latest device firmware to get the maximum benefit (consistent speed and routing functionality).

I bought this docking station after checking with the HP agent, but after getting it I got to know its not compatible with the laptop I got. Information is quite misleading with the sales support. It doesn't support multiple displays. It will only duplicate the displays.I've returned the docker.
