Effortless backup and capacity management with seamless implementation
What is our primary use case?
In our organization, we use HPE StoreEasy for tasks that require backing up data and maintaining capacity. It's a solution we use almost daily for these purposes.
How has it helped my organization?
HPE StoreEasy has helped us with easy implementation, maintenance, and administration.

The most beneficial feature of HPE StoreEasy for us is its easy implementation and maintenance.

The quality of technical support from HPE StoreEasy is somewhat lacking due to delays in responses. That said, they do provide valid solutions when they respond. I would rate the technical support seven out of ten.

Enhanced backup reliability with high performance and configuration options
What is our primary use case?
I am primarily using the solution for backup purposes.
What is most valuable?
StoreEasy is a better solution for backup purposes. Performance-wise, it provides storage with Gold processors, scalability, RAM, and capacity drives with SSDs. This contributes to high performance. Additionally, StoreEasy offers reliable file services, which is a critical factor for customers looking for solid infrastructure.
What needs improvement?
There are some SKUs in StoreEasy that are built to order, and there are only limited options, such as StoreEasy 1670 and 1870, which can be configured to order based on customer preferences. It's advisable that HPE should offer more configurable options with varied specifications, like a silver processor.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with StoreEasy for about one year since joining in a presales position.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
HP provides options for scalability, and I can suggest to our customers that HPE hardware is indeed scalable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The scalability is good with StoreEasy's performance storages, which include gold processors and the ability to scale up to 256 gigabytes of RAM alongside ample capacity drive options.
How are customer service and support?
As we are partners, with our engineers providing hardware support, I do not have direct experience with technical support from HPE.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
How was the initial setup?
As I handle presales, the initial setup is relatively easy for me. It is straightforward to configure and recommend to customers based on their needs.
What was our ROI?
Some customers in Pakistan use only HPE hardware, so they can justify the cost despite the pricing being higher than local brands.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
In comparison with local brands, the prices of StoreEasy are higher.
What other advice do I have?
I would rate the solution an eight out of ten for its service and file service offerings, scalability, and other aspects. However, the pricing is higher compared to other brands.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
On-premises
