IBM Path Failover for IBM TS4300 L3A Tape Library

The IBM Path Failover is designed to provide automatic control path failover and data path failover for tape drives in the TS4300 L3A tape library. In the event of a path or component failure, the failover mechanism is designed to automatically re-try the current operation using an alternate, preconfigured path without aborting the current job in progress. This helps provide flexibility in SAN configuration, availability and management.
