As an IBM Cloud Service-based solution, the typical tasks and costs associated with acquiring, deploying, and managing hardware and software for on-premises SIEM solutions are not required. IBM installs and deploys QRadar SIEM software in the IBM SoftLayer cloud environment, and provides infrastructure management as well as 24 x 7 support. You can download and install enabling software (called a Data Gateway) to collect events from all supported log sources on premises or in the cloud. The enabling software forwards the collected events to the QRadar SIEM servers running in the IBM cloud, through a VPN tunnel, where the data is stored and managed. You can access the QRadar SIEM server from a web browser to perform security and threat management tasks.
As part of the service, IBM optimizes solution accessibility by continuously monitoring the health of the QRadar SIEM and rapidly resolving any infrastructure issues that may arise. IBM also provides upgrades, whenever available, to provide you with the newest features and up-to-date threat protections.

These services are considered Third Party Services, and this purchase is subject to CDW’s Third Party Cloud Services Terms and Conditions, unless you have a written agreement with CDW covering your purchase of products and services, in which case this purchase is subject to such other written agreement.
The third-party Service Provider will provide these services directly to you pursuant to the Service Provider’s standard terms and conditions or such other terms as agreed upon directly between you and the Service Provider. The Service Provider, not CDW, will be responsible to you for delivery and performance of these services. Except as otherwise set forth in the Service Provider’s agreement, these services are non-cancellable, and all fees are non-refundable.
