This KVM is DisplayPort 1.2 compliant and boasts many advanced features associated with the latest developments in high resolution video specifications such as Cinema 4K (4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz), HD audio through DisplayPort playback, HDCP compliance, and widescreen support. The 2-Port DisplayPort KVM also comes equipped with many advanced USB related features such as support for multimedia and wireless keyboards and mice, Mac keyboards and emulation, and console mouse emulation with a bypass feature that supports most mouse drivers and multifunction mice. Other advanced KVM features include full operating system support for Windows®, Mac OS®, and Linux®, full bass response audio, power-on detection, hot key and USB mouse switching, and firmware upgradability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just be aware you NEED Displayport ports. It works great, if you have computers, monitors with Dsplayport. Adapters that convert Displayport to HDMI, DVI, etc. do not work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good KVM Switch Overall works well with the remote button. I am a little confused on why the DP port, which should carry both video and audio data, requires the headphone jack wire to be used. Otherwise, this is a great functional KVM switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One that got away... There’s no HDMI port which severely limits its advisability for me; it wasn’t designed for the use I needed. I never had a chance to try it (one laptop had only an HDMI port). Definitely a shortcoming in the purchasing diligence on my part. On a very positive note, it felt solid, durable, and had great packaging!
