bad clamp
The clamp is badly designed, or badly made. We've broken two. The first stand broken within 2 weeks. We got a replacement stand from the dealer. That one broke too, shortly after the stand's warranty expired.
Once that clamp breaks, the stand becomes landfill. We have not been able to find a source for the replacement part. JBL sells lots of lighting parts and accessories, but no parts (that we've been able to find to repair this stand.
