I had these for two months and the swiveling joint that connects the headband to the headphone has somehow broken! I’m really careful with my headsets because I know they can break easy but I just don’t think that join is a good design at all or it need to be thicker around the ball joint! It’s a shame because othere than that they have been great for the money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sound and first class comfort Excellent sound, simple looks and first class comfort. Let me start with the build quality. Let's be honest, at this price point there is not a lot you'd expect and this can be felt when hold the headphones. However, it does not feel cheap and it looks well made. So unless you plan to to throw it across the room or smash it on the floor, it will last long. It has a braided cord that is definitely long enough and ends in a 3.5mm jack.(there is a mic/headphone splitter included in the box). The cord has a minimal orange accent that won't be disruptive if you have a certain colour themed set up The sound quality is very good too. It is on the soft side, but every detail can be heard in games. It is especially shines in games where there is a big emphasis on music. I played a bit of Neon Abyss when i got the headphones and it was an absolute joy. Listening to music is also a pleasant experience from heavy metal through pop to dubstep, no matter your taste these headphones will not disappoint. For gaming and calls there is a tilting microphone. The microphone quality is good and you can mute it simply by lifting. It is slightly adjustable as the cover is not hard plastic. For anyone who wants RGB on a headphone this will be boring as there are no light anywhere. The headphones still look very nice and it will fit whatever set up you have. Last but not least, comfort. I have glasses, so one of my biggest annoyances is the enormous pain that I feel as the headphones slowly push my glasses inside my skull, leaving the eternal mark of the gamer nerd with glasses. I obviously over exaggerated, but the pain is still real. I was so happy to find that this is NOT the case with these headphones. These are the most heavenly comfortable pair I ever used. The box states the pads are made of memory foam and it surely feels like that. Even after a couple hours long gaming session I feel absolutely good. The light weight of the headset and cushion on the arc helps a lot. I can't praise the comfort enough. In overall I am extremely satisfied an would definitely recommend these headphones.

The microphone works good lifting it up and down, and the mute is easy to use. Microphone is a little sensitive, but not really an issue. The volume scroll wheel on the back is good, because your not accidentally changing the volume while playing. Overall a great headphone microphone set up for playing both games and any kind of work related jobs online.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pair of gaming headphones They are great there only stereo but when you activate Dolby Atmos surround sound on pc and Xbox it does a decent job of simulating surround sound. I also like that they are not heavy, but they don't feel cheap. The high frequency and bass is really good and the volume cranks up loud with out any amplification. On PS4 and Nintendo switch the sound was good. The only complaint I have is the volume dial is very loose so it goes from too low to high too fast, if they would tighten that up a bit so you have more fine tune control over the volume it would be welcomed. I tested the microphone on destiny 2 and my voice was crystal clear and did not pick up alot of background noise. The ear cushions are super soft and did not cause me to sweat after 4 hours of play. At the entry level of sub $100 bucks I think they are a good investment and will use these on pc from now on instead of my $300 Astro A50s, because they are so light on your head and the sound quality especially with Dolby Atmos switched on is very good

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good headset, bad audio plug I've been using these headphones for 1 week. They are very comfortable, sound good for conference calls and gaming, and the mic works well. I like that the mic mutes when you flip it up and that the headphones have a volume adjustment too. The pleather covering for the ear pads is also comfortable. The headset provides a good amount of noise blocking due to the closed back design (these are not noise cancelling headphones). For the price, the headset works well and has made long conference calls much easier, as compared to an in-ear headset. Sadly, the audio plug bent under very minor strain and the headset no longer works. The strain was so minor that I'm not even sure how it happened - it was just normal use while connected to my phone. Overall, these headphones are good, but the audio plug is unusually fragile compared to all other headsets that I own. After 7 days of use, the headset is no longer functional. Due to this critical failure, I have to rate these headphones low, despite the many features that I like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good gaming headset These headphones are a nice set of headphones. The sound is good, and the microphone works very well. JBL has always provided very good sounding headsets and it has not disappointed me. I really like the switch on the swide which lets you have the game music on low or high, you can mute the TV and sound still comes into the headphone, nice feature. There are two things I think would really help me these headphones be even better. One is the foldable earphone pieces so that it's easier to carry around or store, similar to most wireless JBL headphones today. Also, a detachable auxiliary cable that connects the headset to the controller/auzxiliary port, because sometimes especially wired headsets the cable gets pulled on and after a while of use it can have a shortage, So you could just replace the auxiliary cable and be back in action in no time. Overall, very nice set of headphones. Please note, this product was sent to me on behalf of JBL, however; a fair and honest review was provided.

I bought them for my online classes and they are comfortable enough to be worn for hours at a time. They cover my whole ear, which helps block out a lot of the noise and the audio comes in clearly with no static or feedback. The mic is great because it flips up to mute and picks up speech well. I’ll be keeping these long after I finish school given they last, which I have no doubts they will.

One day I stretched it out to put it on my head and it cracked, and later on just broke off. I would suggest buying a headset with a metal frame instead of plastic. and coming from jbl I expected better

Cons: Wifey knows I'm tuned out when both ears are covered :p.

The stereo is quick to respond to any noise and thanks to the headphones, I'm able to tell which direction it came from much more clearly than just using my TV's speakers. The mic is also very easy to use and switch to mute when you don't need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable to wear but slightly noisy cable It is a very comfortable headset to wear for extended periods of time and the feature of the mic going mute when tilted upwards is very useful. One thing I noticed was that the cable makes noises that can be heard through the headset as you move around. It either needs the cable to be more rigidly connected to the headset or maybe some sort of lubricant to stop it from making slight creaking noises. Overall, it is a very nice headset.

They also sound great for music, just went to the Dark Side live version and they sounded awesome. Not heavy on the head like wireless gaming headset. Appreciate lack of excess buttons and lighting. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tuning and design Design: Comfortably, pretty light headphones, they come with a replaceable cable as well as a jack converter for separate headphones and mic input, this is also an extension cable. Small detail, but really useful, I've bought a gaming headset without this feature before, so appreciate this. I enjoy the aesthetics of the headphones, simple, clean look. Sound: I use these headphones for fps gaming, meetings, and for music as well. They are great for meetings, great mic quality, and the tuning is solid for people's voices. For gaming, again the tuning is great, I can hear all footsteps crazy well, better than my current go to gaming headset, but the sound stage size could be bigger. While i hear all the footsteps, the exact location is a little more difficult to pick up. As far as music, they are decent, but I would not buy this primarily for music audio quality. Definitely a v shaped sound signature (so it's surprising they work well for meetings).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value Budget Gaming Headphones! Just got these Quantum 200 headphones and must say I am definitely happy with them! They are pretty simple, basic gaming headphones with all the features you need and none that you don't. When you first get the headphones, give them around 20 hours of burn in / usage time and the sound will become exceptional for gaming and movies. You won't be disappointed, especially for the price! Pros: 1. Balanced Sound Quality: These headphones are definitely mid and high centric for sound details in gaming and movies, however the bass gets better over time. Clean, clear and balanced would be a way to describe it. 2. Clear Microphone: The mic is super easy to use with the easy flip mute on and off. It has great sound quality with very little background noise. My online teams remarked on how clear my mic sounds now. Everything in the volume is super easy to get adjusted and dialed in. 3. Great Price: The value of these headphones is a bit beyond the retail price they are asking. This is a tough set of headphones for the price and I really can't ask for more in the value department! Its got decent sound, great microphone, rugged build quality and simple to use. Cons: Require break in to get the full sound quality. Just use them and over around 20+ hours, everything goes from okay sounding to beyond decent. Just use them and expect the sound to get better and better. Other than that, I have no complaints! All in all, I think this is definitely a great budget minded gaming headset. They have all the right features and nothing beyond that. Super comfortable with durable design, long cable, intuitive controls and clean sound. A simple, quality pair of headphones that will last and get you thought the game with ease. Way to go JBL!

The sound was as clear as if the people I spoke to were sitting right next to me. No static or echo type noises. Not too much treble or bass. These definately added to my gaming experience. Im afraid to let my husband try them, he may not return them! I do wish I could get them in rose gold or lavender.

When compared to my bluetooth headphones, I've definitely noticed improved audio voice quality when on conference calls and on discord. The people I work and game with have commented as such as well, so that's a major improvement. Sound quality is good without offering excessive noise isolation/cancellation, which to be honest, is a refreshing thing as it allows me to not be blasted by the incoming noise. The build quality is good although the headset feels a little stiff and I can't wear it comfortably for an extended duration.

Build quality is decent, but for $60 is pretty much what you would expect. They are pretty conformable, and did survive a 3 hour session without any bother. They do have some cable noise, but I never noticed it while gaming. No wireless option, but this is stated up front. The mic works as advertised, and I had zero complaints about voice quality on the other end. I would recommend these if your in the $60 budget for gaming headphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound! Not Durable! I have these headsets for a year now and I finally have to retired them today. What separate brands like JBL or other companies that specializes in audio hardware compared to gaming headset is that these companies makes great sounding headphones. These quantum 200 has better sound quality and better bass than all of the high end gaming headsets that I had over the years. The sound quality on these headphones are so good that you can game, watch movies and listen to music with clarity. Now this is where these headphones needs to improve. The mic quality is not the greatest. There are moments where I am gaming with friends and at times they will tell me they have a hard time hearing me or my mic sound is too low. Next thing these headphones can improve and this is the main reason why I have to retire them it's the durability. The plastic on these headphones are fragile. I accidently drop the headphones for the first time and the adjustable part on the right side snapped leaving the right ear cups hanging loose from the headband. Also the sound on the right side is now dead too. Overall these headphones have great sound quality, but handle them with care because they might break. In conclusion I don't mind buying these again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the price! These headphones are great even if they lack a few key features for a gaming headset. First things first, I won my first CoD Warzone (solo match ever using these headsets. The sound quality is very clear and they are loud. Even if they don't have noice cancelation the ear cups do a really good job at isolating exterior sounds. Mic audio is clear, I never had any issues with other players not being able to hear me. The only thing I would change is the "metallic spring" sound when you raise the boom-stick to mute or lower it to unmute the mic. If you use a Vantage 2 controller on PS4 it must be connected via USB for the controller audio to work on the headphones. Overall it's a great unit and I'm really happy I got to experience them. Don't hesitate to buy these bad boys if you are looking for a good headset without breaking the bank.

They feel awesome on our head even after wearing them over an hour. The overall quality is great as well. The mic picks up great, maybe a little to good as you can hear yourself breathe. Volume control is very easy to use and access. Overall I would highly recommend these to anyone.

The head phone jack doesn't always fit my PS4 controller which causes the microphone not to work. With slight modification of sliding the headphone jack into the PS4 controller the microphone starts to work. Other than that these are great headphones for value

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meant for home gaming on both PC and console As with all affordable headphones, there’s no carrying case and the Quantum 200 is no different. Don’t rule the wired headphones out—especially the JBL Quantum 200 which can provide good sound if hooked up and played right. Nowadays many buyers prefer wireless, but testing my mic via Snapchat with a 3.5 mm adapter voice is heard clearly. While I had no opportunity to test this in a PVP session as of writing this, the MEMS microphone performed crisp. Another key area was that you can’t remove the wire for extra portability so care must be exercised at all times. I was able to flip my mic up when I don’t need to chat which is good because the MEMS mic was meant for PVP. The leather cups, though you must take good care of them, give out good bass especially in gunfire, but don’t get distracted as Quantum Drivers was made to increase game awareness. The wired handicap not to mention the lack of portability may not please some, but if you play the game right, then these wired game cans can help you out on a video game PVP event or perhaps (in a certain extent your next e-sport meet.
