Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ok with a few kinks The 65W AC Adapter was purchased as the first adapter had gotten bent where it connects to the laptop. In addition, these type of adapter, which are rectangularly in shape (as opposed to round would seem more apt to get bent or broken off. However, with that said, it is the type that is used by Lenovo and thus what I needed to make sure I was covered in saving battery life. The other adapter, though bent, is still usable.

This difference was not made clear in the web page technical specifications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor design It's a power adapter, so not much to review other than the disappointment of needing to replace the one that failed after about four years. I would say the failure highlighted the absence of any power indicater light that would have made the problem easier to diagnose. The replacement sadly retains that simple design flaw. Since the adapter was of an unusual plug configuration that wasn't readily available from a friend, my workplace or even a local computer shop, I was forced to fly blind in buying a new adapter in order to diagnose that the problem indeed was the adapter. It then took >2 weeks to arrive.

There is no adapter to make this slim tip compatible with the standard round sockets in all other thinkpads. Help! Are we then to buy 3 X1 power adapters to ADD TO the other ones we have for all of our other thinkpads? EGADS, this is a major design flaw.....

It does very well on ms office and quickbooks, all data handling, we don't do much with visuals. We added a numeric-friendly keyboard and a big screen and we're set. Hate Windows 10 which assumes a minimum of experience an intelligence in the user..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo Renews my Faith in CS! I bought myself and my grandson a Lenovo Laptop over a year ago. Unfortunately the charging cable failed recently and he wasn't able to charge his laptop. I went to Best Buy's and was told they didn't carry replacements, but directed me to the Lenovo website. Using the model number, I was able to find a replacement in just a few minutes and ordered it. The cable arrived a few days later and we plugged it in to his laptop. It started charging his computer instantly without any complications. I was very pleased with how easy it was to find and get a critical component of his system and allow him to return to using his Lenovo without significant downtime. Normally, I would buy a second one for backup, specially since we both have and use the same model laptop, but it was so quick and easy to obtain the part that I decided to take a wait and see position.
