The only complaint I have is that the cover collects fingerprints so it always looks dirty. I also thought i purchased a touch screen but now I see that it was an "option" so I imagine that was my fault for not choosing.

While watching many videos I can barely and had to use my iPods. Other than that, the screen is nice and large, the keyboard buttons are excellent, the mouse position fits my hand perfectly (had issues with last laptop), and backlit keyboard is nice. In conclusion, I would have given 5 stars instead of 4 if the sound was better.

The only thing I was mildly disappointed in was how slick feeling the laptop is. (I'm afraid it will slide out of my hands too easily. Wished it had a little bit of a grip to the case.)

My only complaint would be the battery life. I barely use it and still have to charge it every couple of days. It isn't a huge deal but is certainly the least impressive part of an overall impressive machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Soeakers Speakers are a joke. At 100 % volume can barely hear. Spent one hour with Microsoft and another hour with Lenovo and couldn’t fix. Returned laptop. Also Windows11 is a pain compared to 10 in my opinion. So much junk you need to turn off. Also I don’t want any of my data and info stored on the cloud. My Lenovo E580 is a better machine.

My only issue was the set-up, which was highly confusing, with Lenovo being of little help, passing me from one representative to another, none of whom were capable of helping. It took me 3-4 weeks to get my laptop set up, which was highly frustrating. Lenovo needs to improve its customer support, especially for new purchases. My experience in this regard was very poor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible Customer Service Never Received Product. UPS and Lenovo pointed the finger at each other about who I needed to contact to change the delivery address. I just started a new job an hour away from my home and I couldn’t take time out to sign for the delivery. Didn’t know I had to sign until last minute. For several days, I went back-and-forth with UPS and Lenovo with one telling me that I had to call the other and nobody could change the mailing address to either my work address or a pick up point at the CVS that is less than a mile from my home. I needed the laptop for work and never received it and I’m very disappointed at how poor the customer service is. I’m going to go with another brand with highly rated customer service.

But they are also very affordable for the specs you get, are very pleasing to use (especially the famous Thinkpad keyboards), and perform well. Having a 16 inch option for those who prefer more screen over lighter weight is a wonderful addition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Budget Laptop I bought this laptop after having a bad experience with a Lenovo Legion 5 gen 7. When buying this laptop I was looking for a resilient, budget laptop which would suit my college needs and hold up over time. Having had this laptop for over a month now, I can already see the difference. The laptops I have had in the past have screens that wobble when the table shakes which makes me super nervous having the laptop out in public. The ThinkPad E16 Gen 1 has had no issues with a shaky screen, and I feel much more confident using it. I am also a commuter to college so the laptop sees a lot of travel. I recommend this laptop to anyone, especially people who travel a lot, but still need a large screen. The only thing to warn is that the graphics are not powerful enough for most gaming, but that is to be expected with integrated graphics. The laptop is great for every other purpose though. I am very happy with my purchase.

Like the fingerprint feature very convenient and the display super sharp images with great detail. I am very happy with my new purchase and recommend Lenovo products. The lid closes firmly, and it seems like it is built to last! Great sale price. I only wish Lenovo would make a case that would resist fingerprints, I have to take a cloth to it daily.

I love the guide that was inserted on the keyboard as it made it so easy to start up laptop . I love the thinkpad as I’m a huge fan of Lenovo and have been using your laptops for decades now. I personally love the center mouse on a Thinkpad it’s easy, u don’t have to carry a bulky mouse when traveling. It’s fabulous!! There isn’t a negative thing I can say about Lenovo laptops ( I have a think pad and Yoga currently) and have purchased other brands of laptops in the past and have never been as pleased as I am with my Lenovo.

The quality of image and sound on zoom is very good. This is my third Lenovo product I have used for work and by far this one has been the best already. I love my personal carbon X1. This one compares well and has a bigger screen although I do miss the touchscreen. The processing time is fast. The machine looks very nice. I definitely recommend it. Thank you to the salesperson on the chat who helped me pick this one.

Reversed the control and function keys in to conform to what I am used to, as well as the key labels. Set the Function keys to default to F# instead of sound, airplane mode, etc. The keys are larger and well spaced for my fingers. Well constructed and meets my needs perfectly.

My previous laptop was about 5 years old and much-needed an upgrade. I run a batting cage, so I do not need much to operate, and this was the perfect unit and price point for my business. I do think that as I get into more of graphic design I would like to upgrade to more graphic style computer. Overall, great buy. Highly recommend

It's not doing anything too taxing on it, but it's used all day M-F and is rock solid the entire time. I've been very impressed with Lenovo compared to other vendors I've used in the part.

It is thin light weight sleek and all the features that I wanted are apart of this computer. I use the number pad probably more than the letters and it was important for the number pad to be on the side so that I use it like a calculator, great for me. I love that I can touch screen as an option not just using the mouse. I have not experienced an discomfort with my purchase.

Spacing also keeps keys on keyboard from being overcrowded, plus the availability of a 10-key numeric pad. Could use an additional standard USB port for wireless accessories that have not yet made the jump to USB-C.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent Hardware. Beware of McAfee Install This is pretty decent hardware. I give it four stars for hardware performance. I would have preferred if they would have not installed the Antivirus Virus otherwise known as McAfee. I am not a fan of bloatware from third parties installed on my Microsoft Windows Professional addition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best buy This is my first ThinkPad I’ve been a Mac user for the past 10 years. Recently needed to upgrade my laptop I did my research and bought the ThinkPad E16. Great laptop for work quiet keyboard and super fast. I would highly recommend this laptop.

This is my first experience with a Thinkpad and I must say the build quality of the Thinkpad is the best I have had. I use the Thinkpad for daily tasks including web browsing, programming, and most importantly editing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop. The photo editing speed is amazing.
